I’m truly enamored by this place it wasn’t just another meal it was a dining exeperience. The décor is beautiful and modern. They have an open concept kitchen which I love because you can see the chef cooking away. They have a great wine selection and a beautiful bar. There’s also outdoor seating. This place offers the most personal service out of all the other restaurants on Las Olas. From the hostess to our waiter(who was amazing by the way) to the chef. As part of the appetizer we had the table side hand pulled mozzarella which was not only delicious but a learning experience and so fun to watch. This was served with heirloom tomatoes and their house pesto sauce. This dish is a must get. Next came the herbed black mussels which were cooked perfectly in a white wine broth with rosemary and chili flakes. I really appreciated the extra kick the chili flakes provided. As the main dish I had the Agnolotti which is one of their house made pastas. This dish was like butter, the pasta which was spiced roasted butternut squashed with braised lamb just melted in your mouth. Instead of dessert the owner Jack came to our table and offered his own home made limoncello which is by hands down the best limoncello I’ve ever had! We had such an amazing experience that what should have been a quick dinner turned into a 3 hours later dining experience.

As a dedicated foodie, I can confidently say that the food and service were above average and solid three and a half stars. This was our first visit, and we decided to try something new(for us) in the neighborhood. It was empty on a Friday, which was disconcerting, but plenty of people wouldn’t know good food if it b — - slapped them. We started with the hand pulled mozzarella, served table-side, which was tasty and fun. Yellow and red tomatoes, pesto, and balsamic made this a treat. Mussels were solid with an excellent white wine«sauce» that we dipped bread into — and ended up sipping with a spoon. While not the best I’ve ever had, the apps were tasty and well made and we really enjoyed them. Salad was overdressed; skip it. Broccoli rabe had an incredible flavor but just a tad overcooked. Pasta with meat sauce(all home made) was really top notch — and we split the dish(he split it table side, a nice touch). Wine list was basic but provided just the right accompaniment to the dishes. The menu has plenty of seafood and vegetarian choices, and they had some daily specials which looked damn good. I hope that more people find Mancini’s, because it’s a solid place with a good menu and a cool attitude.

As a hospitality professional for over fifteen years and dining at some of the best restaurants in south florida, I wouldn’t recommend going to Mancinis. I will make this short but sweet. The owner was sitting at a table dining, drinking and having a nice evening with his female friends while his untrained bartender was in the weeds with only 6 guests at the bar. Shame on the owner !!! The guests suffered because of it !! It took the bartender 23 minutes after we sat down to get us our drinks(we are very patient hospitality people). The drinks were SO awful that we just walked out. I Blame the owner for this. Dear Mr. So called owner… You are obviously blind if you didn’t see your bartender struggling tonight … So you better get off your ass, train your staff and you might be half as good as the other restaurants on las olas! Mancinis will not last much longer

I apologize for my short review! I went to Mancini for a date night. My bf and i was really excited to have a little italian place we can walk to. For our starter we had the fresh pulled mozzarella… it was ok not creamy like the one i had at da Campo Osteria. The bread basket they brought was blahhh. The show stopper was the tagliatelle bolognese(fresh)pasta! The texture and sauce was perfect!!! We also had the roasted cauliflower and eggplant… also really good! Ill be back just bc the drinks were great and the yummy pasta :)

I’m not an Italian food lover but let me tell you something this restaurant will give you a new meaning of Italian food. I tried multiple things at this place but I have to say their mushrooms pizza and the beef carpaccio was of the chain sorry I said it. The place is very elegant and modern just like their name mentioned it. Our waiter name was Joe make sure to ask for him he is adorable. Grate experience def going back soon. I recommend it 100%

Getting better maybe? I stopped in for one of the lunch panini specials(to-go only) and they seem decent. Good price, good value on those. Kudos to Mancini’s for finally understanding your lunch crowd. We don’t have time to come in and sit down. We want something fast and delicious at LUNCH prices.

Mancini’s is a legend on Las Olas and rightfully so. After holding a coveted spot on the main street for YEARS, they closed up and tried to move to various spots until settling here. My husband and I celebrated many evenings at their original location, and waited with enthusiasm for their re-opening… We opted to come for a weeknight meal on an off night. We ordered the mussels, branzino, a veggie side and finished with a dessert and were under-impressed. The mussels were good, the branzino was extra fishy tasting, and the dessert tasted like a box mix… Very Confused. Hoping we came on an off night and promise to return to give an old classic another chance…

Except for the totally inattentive outside hostess whose actions, endlessly yapping on the telephone about matters certainly not pertaining to anything having to do with being a restaurant hostess and demeanor caused me to mistake her for a street hooker, I was totally impressed not only with the quality of food but the superb friendly professional service I received from the wait staff. Indeed, Carlos, the bartender who also took my order an attended my table was one of the friendliest most helpful members of a professional restaurant staff it has ever been my pleasure to come across. When Carlos told me about their special trout encrusted with almonds(actually a trout almondine), he described it so mouth wateringly perfect, I didn’t even bother looking at a menu, just followed his good advice, ordered it and I’m glad I did. When it arrived it was a whole deboned trout filet generously encrusted with almonds, well presented, tasty and perfectly prepared. Along with it, a side of spaghetti pasta done al dente with a smooth fresh tasting tomato based sauce that Carlos then coated with what struck me as being a top quality fresh tasting parmesan cheese. I haven’t been to this location of Mancini but had previously enjoyed some delightful patio and sidewalk meals when they were located on Las Olas and later when they were operated under the name of «M.» So, I was particularly pleased to find Mancini still not only in operation but with top quality perfectly prepared foods along with a pleasant rich smart looking interior décor. Then as an added touch, and outside sidewalk sit done bar offering meals, sandwiches to go along with several pleasant sidewalk umbrella covered tables. Mancini’s is to me a top quality solid Four Star restaurant which, after I try it a few more times, could easily go Five Stars on.

Okay the main course came, I had the rack of lamb and I have to say it was excellent!!! the service was great and the owner came over to our table Jack Mancini. Very nice guy who said they were still trying to find themselves from the old Mancini’s. I do not recommend this restaurant they need to find a new chef.

I can only review the bar. We sat at the outside bar for about 1 hour. I had 2 or 3 drinks. A watermelon martini and lemon martini. Everything was well prepared and proportioned. it seemd slow for a Saturday night. Im sure why… the food we saw looked great. It was a nice low key place to go we wanted to have fun but not be in a club. the owner stopped and talked to us for a while he we really nice.

Where do I even start… The old Mancini’s on Las Olas was awesome so I was super excited to be returning for a friends 40th birthday. It moved off the beaten path and was pretty slow even for a Monday night out of season. We sat at the bar waiting for our friends to join, the bartender greeted us right away to get us a drink. We had asked to see the drink menu and after looking it over it took her a while to return. Our drinks were good, but you cant really mess up a martini. When our friends arrived the bartender clearly got swamped with having to make more than two drinks at a time. Once we moved to our table it took the server about 10 minutes to come over and see if we needed anything. Appetizers we good, the homemade mozzarella and pork belly were my favorite. Dinner on the other hand was not so impressive. It took over 40 minutes for the food to come out. I am willing to accept this on a busy Friday or Saturday night but on a Monday night when we are one of three tables in the restaurant it is ridiculous. The server was no where to be found when we needed him to clear the table of dirty dishes, refill our waters or order more drinks. Once we finally got his attention to order more drinks they sat on the service bar for a good five minutes. I had to ask several times for him to take dirty plate, and we even used the empty table next to us to put the dirty dishes on. Being that we were celebrating our friends 40th we wanted to order dessert and celebrated his big milestone. We ordered dessert and it took another 30 minutes for a piece of chocolate cake and tiramisu on a plate. We could see the server speaking with a man who appeared to be the owner for sometime while we waited. It was late and we were tired of waiting so we canceled the dessert. Our server brought it out anyway and said it was on the house. The birthday boy had to ask our server if he could please have the owner come over to apologize for our horrible experience. When he came over he acted as if nothing was wrong. He introduced himself as the owner Jack Mancini, he would not let my friend express his feelings about our dining experience, instead he argued with him about everything never apologizing. He blamed it on his kitchen staff leaving and closing down the kitchen. He would not take ownership for anything. As a restaurant owner you need to have control of you staff and he clearly did not. Our check was over $ 500.00 for the night so you would think being that we gave his restaurant the majority of their profit that night he would be a little more understanding and wanting to make it right. He said that he gave us the dessert for free what more did we want!!! When we were leaving the owner was sitting at the bar having a drink, we walked right by him and he didn’t say goodbye, thank you or anything. I the patron had to say goodbye and thank you. What horrible customer service, I could not believe it!!! I will definitely never be going back I would not recommend for anyone to waste their time there. Mancini’s will not last if they continue to treat their customers this way!

Oh Mancini! This place has potential to be a full 5 stars but there are several things amiss here and they are not there yet. Arrived on time and got seated right away. There were only 4 other tables busy while we were there and about 5 people at the bar. I guess it’s a good thing that they were not that busy because they were understaffed that night. You basically saw the same waiter running all over the place, from one corner to the order, taking care of everyone. He was great(albeit a little chatty) even with all the running around. It’s also a good thing that we brought our wine because the ones they offered were not served at the right temperature. Why bother having a fridge for them if they are going to be a little cooler than room temperature? The corkage fee was $ 25.00. The décor is really nice but it really bothered me that the lights were on so bright. I did not care for the background music either and why on earth would you have the doors open when 1– the a/c is on and 2– it was raining outside. They do have an open bar facing the sidewalk but I think because of this, the temperature inside the restaurant suffered(not to mention the higher than usual humidity!). It was just muggy. We also felt the restaurant lacked«vibe» or a certain«je né sais quoi». Besides not having enough diners inside I blame all of the above for it. Dim the lights a bit, choose a different playlist and close those doors! We received an amuse bouche which was a tomato gazpacho. I really liked it, my husband did not. We also got a bread basket. The bread was not warm and the breadsticks were«chewy» in the middle and crisp on the outside. Odd. We asked for new ones but they were the same. For appetizer we requested the table side mozzarella experience and the octopus(POLIPO). The octopus is grilled and served with a goat cheese, potato, black olives and celery mash in a salsa verde. The hand pulled mozzarella is done table side(which was VERY cool) and served with the house pesto and heirloom tomato. Both of these were excellent and something I would get again. For dinner, we ordered the agnolotti(spice roasted butternut squash, braised lamb shoulder and arugula) and the tagliatelle all bolognese(beef, veal and pork in a red wine reduction and served with«real» grated parm). These were both good but the tagliatelle was definitively much better. We chose to skip dessert but did have espressos. We requested them hot and got them extremely hot which is great! That’s how we like them and a lot of restaurants don’t understand the word«hot». I really want to like Mancini. I tried them first several years ago at the Las Olas Wine and Food Festival and when I returned to dine at the actual restaurant, they had closed. Now that they have reopened(it’s been maybe a month or so?) and I did get to try them, I had high hopes and it did not live up to them. I will give them another go later this year and hope they are much improved by then!

Cool spot in Ft.Lauderdale.I had the BBQ Chicken pizza, which was very heavy on the crust. Service was good, however not enough meat/cheese wayyy to much crust. what I did have was good, however. I’ll give it another shot.

Went with a group of co-workers for lunch this past Friday. I was a fan of the original Mancini’s further east on Las Olas, so I was excited to try this out. I have to say overall this was a good experience. The menu is not too heavy on the bigger Italian entrees, instead focusing on crudos(the Italian equivalent of sashimi), salads, pizzas, and pastas. We tried several crudos including the tuna, snapper, and salmon — all of them were excellent. The tuna should have been served a little colder(it was room temp), but it was still very good. Several folks ordered pastas, so I got to sample the lasagnette, garganelli with sausage and porcini mushroom, and one more that I can’t recall. All of them were delicious, particularly the garganelli! Service was a little slow, but not too bad. The restaurant itself is very nice with an open-air bar extending both inside and out. For a place that’s only been open for two months it has a lot of potential. Looking forward to returning for dinner soon.

They are located up the street(North) from Yolo. They have a nice walk up /sit down outside bar, which I thought was a great idea. This was my first time to Mancini’s and it was awesome. I had never been to their old location. I am really surprised at the one bad review because this place was terrific. For starters, the bartender was very nice(I think her name was… Amanda?) she made great martini’s(I recommend the«Mancini Martinit»). Sorry, if I forgot your name. The waiter was great. He was very attentive without being overbearing. We were a party of 9 and at one point we were even graced with the presence of the owner(Jack) during our meal. Great guy. We started with the fresh, table side hand-pulled Mozzarella which was delicious! Also, the Calamari which is the best I have ever tasted. Seasoned perfectly, tender, excellent. Moving on, I ordered their Pasta in a white wine clam sauce. Again, perfectly done. Pasta cooked as it should be(al dente). The sauce great and the claims were fresh. My wife had their Lamb Agnolotti whch was also excellent. She loved it and I almost stole it away. The rest of our party enjoyed their meals as well. I’ll let them write their own reviews. We will surely return. Thanks Jack!

I was sort of surprised by the bad reviews but I have not eaten here for dinner. I work on Las Olas and have eaten here for a business lunch twice. Both times the service was outstanding and the food was fresh and interesting. It is expensive but most of the restaurants nearby are as well. I was a little skeptical to try it since Mancini’s last restaurant, the tapas place near 15th was so bad; but I think that he has gotten his groove back and I actually like this place better than his old place on the corner of 10th and Las Olas. I also like the décor. I think that what he did with the indoor/outdoor bar is interesting. I will have to try it for dinner to see if it holds up.
