O Lounge is apparently the clubby part of YOLO but yet it feels very«cougar-y». It’s kind of ironic though, considering YOLO is the saying that is more specific to the younger crowd. I’ve been to YOLO before after hours for drinks, never for food, and it was always the mid-20’s crowd hanging out at the bar drinking martinis and Merlot. O Lounge was more vodka shots and grinding to Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias from what I could tell. What was funny was that it was more late 30’s ladies on the PROWL. High heels, bleached hair, and the like. You can tell that this place is right next to Vibe because it seemed to pull a decent amount of the same clientele(or maybe some people who couldn’t get in, I don’t know). The drink prices seemed to be pretty decent here, I saw a bar tab for a vodka tonic/white wine for $ 18 and that’s not awful at all. This is a pretty small place and with the amount of dancing that goes on it got pretty crowded pretty quickly. Bartenders were pretty quick and attentive, and security didn’t have a problem with us taking drinks outside to sit on the patio. I kind of like the fact that here has a different music scene compared to Vibe(less EDM and more top 40 stuff) and is a little less likely to give you an epileptic attack due to the lack of flashing lights for when you’re in the mood to dance but not in the mood for a seizure.

Pink Rules! SITREP We had a terrific night of Pink Dancin at the«O» Lounge! Besides enjoying the chill vibe of the O Lounge, we got to sip on some refreshing beverages and jam to some funky tunes! THESETUP The O Lounge is pretty nice set-up with a full bar and lots of loungy seats and spaces to just relax. [Only drawback is that when the bar is slammed with a full-house(like it was this particular night), they really need more than just one(1) bartender to keep up with the pace.] DJDANCING It was nice that there was a DJ set-up to provide some great dancing tunes and he was«connected» to the crowd both with their requests, and«reading» the vibe coming from the dance floor. KUDOS Props to our awesome friends Savanna, Greshka & Ashley for keeping the Pink-momentum going all night long! THELOWDOWN Thank you O Lounge & «Long Live PINK!»

O lounge was a nice looking lounge to drink and dance. It was a really small lounge. I can’t say anything particularly interesting about it. It was hard to get drinks at the bar because the bartender was a bit slow on getting orders.(or they needed more than one bartender working.) The DJ had good song choices but weird transitions. The nice thing about the lounge is it’s location next to YOLO. You can get YOLO food delivered to this lounge or just go to this lounge after dinner at YOLO. I wouldn’t go back specifically for this lounge it’s definitely more of an afterthought for me.

Came here last weekend during YSB2015. PROS: –It was fun to hang out with a group here. –Place was very clean, nice bathrooms. Nice vibe also. –Lots of places to sit. CONS: –took a while to get drinks –I was a little appalled at the price of my drink(vodka Coke, $ 8.50 plus tip) though that was at the beginning of the trip, pre-Marriott bar prices, lol($ 15 for fruity drinks!) so I guess that is not too bad. –Music was super super loud. Clubbing/bars isn’t entirely my scene so that may be it, but I had my adventurous undergrad days as well and I don’t remember the music being so loud.(next I’ll be saying«get off my lawn,» ha.) Overall not a bad place to grab a drink. I guess it’s part of that YOLO complex(my AmEx bill says YOLOYOLOYOLO on it which was pretty funny) and there are places to grab food next door too.

It was my first time to O Lounge last Thursday night and I definitely liked the ambiance. There are plenty of seats throughout and also a private room for special gatherings. As for the menu, 3 words: The Devil’s Hammer. I’ll be the first to admit the«limit 3» on the menu called out to me like a challenge, but after having 2, they are smart to put the disclaimer. Made with tequila, mint leaves, citrus juices and a cherry bourbon float, it’s quite the drink for any craft cocktail lover. And for $ 12 the size and quality of drink isn’t one that will leave you feeling jipped. Despite only one bartender, she was on point and friendly. There was also a DJ playing music ranging from popular hits to some mid/late nighties. The only downside I felt were the TVs playing sports games which seemed a bit out of place. Also, they serve food but didn’t get a chance to try any.

O, o, o! Last night was not the first time I made an appearance nor will it be the last. There is valet parking offered if you don’t want to try to find parking on the boulevard, which is a huge convenience. It’s located inside of YOLO and it has its own section for the ones that want to mix and mingle. The specialty cocktails are off the hook and there’s even a limit of 3 on one of them. Sorry, I can’t remember which one it was. I was too busy consuming the Dragonberry mojitos that the lounge is famous for.

I have been to O-Lounge twice with a group of 10 on Wednesday Nite Ladies Nite. And both times was a great party! Ladies drink pretty much anything for free from 7 – 10. Place starts to jump around 930 or so but I suggest arriving around 9. Not much of a dance floor but no worries as people dance all over. A downside is the lack of seating when it gets crowded. But at the same time an upside that causes more mingling and dancing. Great party atmosphere Wednesday Nites! There is also another sister club of YOLO called vibe, which is only a go go gadget arm distance away from O-Lounge. The O-Lounge crowd seems to filter over there around 11 or so. Kind of like a chill after party vibe at vibe at that time. But O-Lounge is a near can’t miss on Wednesday Nites. Especially for the ladies who love a fun party on weekdays. Some not so exciting but relative details: NO cover for anyone on Wednesday Nites. Dress is upscale and a bit sexy for the ladies on Las Olas. There is only one VIP section and appears to be mainly for the ladies. YOLO is attached and is also a place to see and be seen! So on a Wednesday Nite, go check out the big O!

O Lounge is pretty far from Boynton Beach where I live, but it is worth the trip to enjoy a non-smoking(indoors) dance club. I wish more clubs would catch on to the clean air trend. Cozy size, and a comfortable amount of patrons(not overcrowed like the place next door). We were not charged any cover. Good mix of music, nicely loud(not ear-splitting and headache-inducing like the club next door on the left).

Hello. About two weeks ago, After spending almost $ 400 in dining at your YOLO restraint the party i was apart of moved into the O-lounge for some fun. I am not going to complain about the nasty condition of the bathroom or the fact it was shared between the two places. I am not going to complain about how crowded it was. My issue is with your night manager. He was extremely rude in both what he did and his way of dealing with it. As to not start a show we all left your establishment. I was trying to dance with my fiancé when your manager pushed his way between the coupe in front of us and my fiancé. My fiancé said«Really?» he turned around with an attitude and said«Is there a problem?». I was unaware of what had happened at the moment till we stepped outside and she has explained it. What kinda of manager did you hire? What kind of customer service is that. Really explain to me where he was right in that attitude? I do request a reply to this post. I will not stop until i hear back as to why he had to get nasty and i demand an apology. He should of said sorry not«Is there a problem?» The problem is him. I asked the guy at the door whats the managers name and he said” The guys new.” I would of fired him, i am a business owner myself and i’d be dammed if i ever let an employee or myself provide such shitty service. BESTPARTISTHEYARESELECTIVEONWHOTHEYLETINTOTHEIRNIGHTCLUB. We just left nothing but a disappointment to me my fiancé and her best friend who was celebrating her B-day.

O Lounge! O Fun! O Lounge is sandwiched between Vibe and YOLO. If you dine at YOLO, you can walk in through the connecting back entrance inside the restaurant without having to go back outside. Valet is available for $ 5 right up front. There is no attitude here(ahem…unlike Vibe), no cover and no hassle. It’s sexy, small, and quaint; a laid back lounge that happens to be beautifully decorated, offers great small plate options, and plays great music. They play it all: old, new and everything in between. It can get really crowded at times, but for some reason it never remains crowded for long. A lot of people hang out here before they go to Vibe or while they wait to be seated at YOLO. We usually prefer it as an after dinner spot. Whatever it is, it works! There’s also seating outside if it starts to get too crowded inside. The crowd is always well dressed and varied in age. You will see the occasional bachelorette or even wedding party crawl through. As with most bars, people watching is always entertaining. They have a great cocktail and wine selection, although the beer list can use some help(they only had a handful of boring domestic beer options). There’s nothing else like it in the area. Don’t bother looking. Come for the vibe, stay for the fun.

My 2nd time doing a review for yolo but I had to for the OLounge. Went here after dinner last night and had a great time. Wednesday’s is ladies night & we drink free from 7 – 10& the wine is good!(But don’t forget to tip your bartender though.) The bald guy at the door was super nice & friendly. I will definitely be inviting the girls here in the near future. Sunny

Reserved O Lounge for a private going away party on Sunday. Bartender was awesome ! She made amazing mojitos and the staff helped coordinate a perfect atmosphere of fun and little bites. The meatballs were yummy and enough room for people to hang out and socialize. Would definitley consider this spot again for something like this.

went for ladies night holiday party. Server came to us in outside seating and was very helpful. Great group of people that range in age from old to young. Great feel and very close to Yolo if you wanted to go from one to other in downtown. Menu isnt that extensive but they do have a sampler which allows you to share with group if your there mostly to drink and dance.

This place refused a party of 10 just because one of the folks had ¾ pants and apparently that is against their policy. Like that wasn’t enough when we were waiting for the rest of our friends we had to wait about 15 minutes for someone to take our order and then 15 more minutes to get the check. Apparently the servers were all«very busy» talking to the DJ although the restaurant was empty at the time. There’s a lot of options in the area so don’t bother with the O Lounge.

UBER classy. A very nice place to get a drink or three before dancing. Impeccably furnished. Amazing bartenders and DJ’s. A real class act. No complaints here. Next to YOLO, one of my favorite restaurants in Fort Lauderdale! Could use more cocktail servers and a less severe vibe. Pricey.

Wednesday nights is the day to go here. Cougars, pumas sugar daddys and your 20/30s something year olds all can be seen. Its the«nicer» part of downtown fort lauderdale compared to the 2nd street pubs and bars. Ladies night is from 7−10pm wine mixed drinks and beer. Even import beer. They have a raffle for the ladies to win gift certificates and have a lil app to curve the cougars and pumas that come here. You can float over to Yolo for the fireplace outdoors or walk over to Vibe next door but here is the only place where ladies get their drinks for free and Free is for me!

On my most recent visit to YOLO, I went on one of the busiest weekends in South Florida — Memorial Day Weekend. I wanted some good food and drinks that would hit the spot and YOLO was where I knew I would find both of these things. Being that it was the busiest weekend, there was a TWOHOURWAITFOR A TABLE!!! I was ready to be out and hit up the Ms Cheezious food truck I saw on the drive over but the hostess informed me that I could go to O Lounge and order off the YOLO menu! Interesting. I headed over there and I immediately liked the décor and the set-p of the lounge. They had a number of places where you could sit down and grab a bite to eat. The bar was on the far left wall and access to it was fairly easy. We grabbed a seat so that we can proceed to order some appetizers and some drinks while we waited for our table. My reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that it is nearly impossible to have a conversation with anyone in there without shouting as the music is a little too loud for a lounge. I’m not sure if it is always like this but it felt more like a club than a lounge. That was my only issue. Our food came out quickly after placing our order. Our waitress was very helpful in assisting us with making food and drink choices. The bestie and I still managed to have funny convo(although it included quite a bit of shouting). After 2 hours, I was ready to eat my hand off so we went back over to YOLO and had an amazing dinner! After dinner, we were walking out and realizd that O Lounge was hyped up. Music was blaring at this point and the DJ was spinning some good tracks. At that point, we decided to do a little dancing and mingling with the people. There were a couple drunken fools in there but the security was tight so they handled the situation very quickly without any hassles. Really liked the fact that security was very quick and responsive to situations. They handled it before anything got out of control. Great job! All in all, I’ll most likely be back at O Lounge in the near future to do my drink and my 2 step(shout out to Cassidy)!

I been here twice now, definitely going back. I love the vibe and crowd. It is a more young professional group, AKA Yippy! Granted you have you few younger ones and much older ones but the mix is really nice. There is Valet for $ 5 which is great because ladies do not have to walk far from a parking garage/lot to get there. Drinks are price right, 3 cocktails cost about $ 26 that averages to around $ 8 a drink. O Lounge is next to Vibe which is more of a nightclub. The same follows with the crowd, vibe and drinks.

Great ambiance, beautiful interior and cool crowd— O-Lounge is next to Yolo Restuarant and provides a neat place to hang out before or after dinner.
