Pink Buddha Chinese Restaurant

According to my husband, who picked up the food, it was a nice restaurant. He said his orange chicken did not have much orange flavor. I really enjoyed my sliced roast pork and pork fried rice. This is the only Chinese place where I could finally have roast pork slices, not boneless ribs. Very happy with this place. Will definitely order again.

After checking out about a dozen Chinese restaurants in the area I finally selected this one as my choice. The Ginger Scallion Fish is exceptional. So is the chicken (or shrimp) in Black Bean Sauce, and the Curry Shrimp. Service is excellent, and the place is clean and inviting.

Okay, okay. So I’m not completely sold on Pink Buddha yet I don’t hate it. Sometimes I get tired of take out Chinese and just like to go in and sit down. The restaurant is located right behind the barbecue joint directly next to the Disalvo’s. You walk in and the owners will greet you with a happy face.
But, the décor of Pink Buddha is underwhelming. You can tell they haven’t renovated since they’ve opened and even the designs on the mirror is peeling. The Christmas decorations are still up and the inside is just blah. Leaves much more to be desired.
But I don’t come here for the decorations, I come here for the food! The menu is huge, definitely a very extensive menu with a big appetizer list. I’ve gotten the shrimp toast which is really good, the bread is sweet and the shrimp is plump and juicy. The dim sum wasn’t what I expected but their egg drop soup is easily the best I’ve had.
I came here with my mom and she got the lo mein while I got the general tso’s chicken. We both loved our entrees but had mixed emotions about everything else. The waiter wasn’t nice and it’s like I had to beg to get a smile out of him.
While Pink Buddha has above average food, there are some items that are hit or miss. The décor is tacky as well as the service, but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying their food. Maybe next time I’ll get take out.

Didn’t get to come here as much as I wanted back when I lived in Pembroke Pines. Anyhow, the service here is phenomenal. The waiters and manager treat you really well. The place accommodates large and small groups. The food was incredible. I always came for the Dim Sum which was awesome!

Low quality food. General Tso’s chicken was swimming in sauce. The meet was tough and it wasn’t very good. The fried rice was basically some rice with a few small pieces of pork and didn’t have much flavor. The egg rolls were your typical generic no flavor rolls. For the price I expect better.

So awful the food was inedible! And the delivery took very long! I would not recommend this to my worst enemy.

I have to say, the best shrimp fried rice ever! All of my family enjoys the food here. Always fresh great flavored food and not so blah, average Chinese food like so many others seem to be. I gave 4 and not 5 stars only because the décor seems to be dated. Yet everything is clean by appearance. Make sure to eat in, the last time I ordered delivery it was almost double the price. Yet it was still fresh, hot and delicious.

This is the second time I have eaten shrimp here and BOTH times I got food poisoning. The first time was 5 years ago so I thought I would give them another chance. I rarely post reviews but this is ridiculous!!!

Tried to order for delivery, they said they were too «busy» to deliver so I went for a pickup. Arrived there, there was literally no one in the plaza, there was only one table guessing it was the owner and some friends sitting down. First, the chicken platter had a lot of breading and barely chicken, the veggie noodles were not fresh and seem to have been re heated from storage.

It’s been forever since I’ve written an updated review despite coming here on a weekly basis. I’ve recently had them cater for my work at a nearby hospital and they did a fabulous job for Susan G Komen/​breast cancer awareness. Had them cater for nursing week too. Worked with me regarding the quantity and prices were reasonable in comparison to other restaurants. we ordered large quantities of fried rice, ribs, egg rolls, and sweet and sour chicken! Our staff was happy with the food and there was plenty to spare.

Ok so I’m usually not a fan of Chinese food but my family digs it sooo… I read the reviews on this place. It’s close to my house. I gave it a go. WOW OH WOW!!!
Not only did the ordering go well. They delivered in 25minutes. The food was hot & fresh. Tasty too. Nothing had those globs of thick gross sauce. This was just a little to coat food & right on point. It seemed home made!!! We ordered the general tsao. It was more like pan fried than deeply fries with all that beading. Delicious! We ordered honey chicken. It was coated slightly to taste the honey garlic sauce but not enough to drench chicken & become soggy. Delicious!!! We order udon chicken. Absolutely perfect. It tasted just like yaki udon at a Japanese. BOMB! On point in every way. 5 stars.

Awesome food, great service, friendly staff! The dim sum is delicious here, especially since it’s hard to find decent dim sum anywhere in florida. I have not been disappointed with any dishes I’ve tried so far, but my go to is the honey walnut shrimp.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant by far. I’ve been a regular for 5 years, and I always come back for my favorite dish whenever I come home from college. The owner knows my order by heart so whenever I order take out, it takes less than five minutes. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, especially the lady that’s always at the register! Their lunch specials are great; I always order the orange chicken with white rice and egg drop soup for only $ 7! Very tasty and affordable for a college student. I can’t say enough nice things about it.

My cousin and I go here time to time and always order off the dim sum menu. Everything is authentic. Definitely the best dim sum I’ve had in florida, and 2nx best behind Pink Buddah would be the toa toa place in sunrise.

This place is phenomenal! I use this place as a conversation piece whenever anyone wants to try a new restaurant or is a fan of Chinese food. I love the beef with garlic sauce or their general tao’s chicken. My fiancé enjoys classics like special fried rice (no shrimp) and honey garlic chicken.
The last time we came here for dinner, we tried the combination dinner specials to our delight; they put more food in front of you than you can handle: soup, egg roll, fried rice and your entrée!
I would definitely recommend Pink Buddha to anyone; come one, come all!

Went there today after reading ad in the local paper. Big mistake!!! Shrimp on black bean sauce more like Shrimp on black bean soup! Shrimp, onions and sauce, sauce… fried rice had an off taste that
I never tasted before… I’ll never go back… a waste of money… I’m from NYC, this food would never sell there.

This place is more like a 2.5. I ordered delivery from here this weekend. It came quickly. I ordered baked bbq pork buns and sweet and sour chicken dinner which come with rice, soup and an egg roll. The pork buns were good. The sweet and sour chicken was par for the course for cheap Chinese take out. The rice had an odd artificial taste to it. It was also very overcooked. Mushy rice is not good. The soup also tasted odd as well buy I still finished the soup. If I ordered from here again it would be for the dim sum.

I just absolutely LOVE this place.
The food delivered is JUST as superb as what we get served in the actual restaurant.
Service is fast and friendly.
Clean and quiet environment.
Food is reasonably priced.
AND EVERYTHINGS DELICIOUS!

The chinese food is excellent. Consistent, great tasting, and exactly what you think you are going to get. The meats are all large chunks and not fatty as it can be some places. They skimp a little on the rice, but the quality makes up for the quantity!
Egg drop soup — hands down best ever. My husband didn’t get it — egg drop soup? Effing Fabulous? isn’t it the same everywhere? NO!!! It is sooooo tasty here, and my family agrees!
I did have to knock it down a star for dim sum, as it was very hit or miss. Steamed shrimp dumplings? YUM! Shrimp stuffed eggplant? DOUBLE YUM! Steamed shrimp in rice noodle? Not so yum. Hubby said chicken feet and tripe dishes were bland.

My favorite Chinese delivery place around. Also has great lunch specials if you feel like going to them. I love that you can order online. You can see the full menu, pricing, and options as well as know their policies for delivery (and fees) Plus, sometimes language barriers can make orders come out wrong-​so this is easy. I also like using a credit card to order since I rarely carry cash, so this is all over a great thing in my book.
The delivery was swift and my food was hot and plentiful. There is a $ 10 minimum for delivery, so I have plenty of leftovers-​but Chinese tastes good 2^nd day. I love their fried rice and they have good soup too. This is not the cheapest place, but it’s obvious in the taste of the food. I’m not sure/didn’t check if they have sushi.
I don’t get chinese food all too often, but when I do, this is where I order from.
