I was looking for a thrift store to bring some donations to. Saint Vincent de Paul is one of the biggest Catholic Charity around the world, divided in various Chapters depending on the areas served. These people help any family who comes asking for help, I guess there is a procedure in order to get the material help… the work is mainly done by a few volunteers and some of them choose to help until their last days. I went around the store and would love to see some type of renovation, it has a very outdated looks… they can surely use the help of a good samaritan to paint and update the place. I couldn’t find what I was looking for, but saw some interesting pieces.

Went to buy a queen size bed frame. Pricing was equal to on sale new prices in furniture stores. Plus you had to buy the mattress also. In this era of bed bug infestations, I would never buy a used mattress. Especially if the used cost was slighty lower than new at Big Lots! They prey of the uneducated buyer that thinks they can’t afford new furnture.

Decent store, although I didn’t check out the upstairs which is where the clothing is. Much of the furniture is overpriced considering the wear.
