Guns. Knives. Ammo. Targets. War memorabilia. And lots and lots of people. Aisles are narrow and even more so for the folks driving their mobility scooters. You will want to arrive early and therefore beat the crowds. You are allowed to bring your own personal weapon into the show, but it must be unloaded and you can not bring ammunition. Security will provide a cable tie to secure the weapon to prevent it from being fired accidentally. Yes, it is permissible to purchase guns at a gun show. Long guns like rifles and shotguns can be taken immediately. For handguns, bring your concealed carry permit. The seller will call it in and make sure you’re good and if so, you don’t have to wait the 72 hours and can take possession immediately. If you don’t have that permit, you have to wait. Note that they do have CCW classes at the show(but they don’t take effect immediately). $ 8 admissions(at least it is today) and there is a $ 1 coupon online. Cash only. Parking isn’t free, even for handicap permits. $ 6. Boo!
