Trusted Pawn Shop

This business is very UNPROFESSIONAL and money hungry. They don’t really care about their client. You make an appointment to pawn a very expensive jewel, they suggest that you sell for a couple of coins your jewelry.
Not recommend.

Let’s be honest, well let ME be honest — when it comes to pawn shops, I didn’t have the most positive opinions about them. I had never stepped foot into one but was merely just going off of the many stories I’ve heard about people being totally ripped off or lied to about the value of certain items and therefore, I pretty much told myself pawn shops were never a place I would go — until recently!
After purchasing a new laptop (an upgrade from my then current one) I found myself with a 2015 MacBook Air I simply had no use for. So, I tried selling it online — either receiving offers that were just plain insulting OR the infamous «I’ll pay you $ 50 over your asking price BUT you must mail it to Nigeria …» and yeah, need I say more — we ALL know about how well those «offers» (AKA — SCAMS!!!) turn out for the seller … so having no luck online, I started pondering going to a pawn shop. I googled a few in the area and decided to go to Value Pawn and wow — disgusting. Not only was their offer on my 2015 MacBook Air beyond insulting ($ 125!!!) but the employees were rude as heck and clearly cared more about closing down and leaving for the night (it was 7:45pm on a Saturday and they close at 8pm, so slow your roll you pretentious ass employees!!!) I was completely turned off and damned if I was giving them ANYTHING of mine — especially an item I knew was worth WAY more than they offered but to think my item would help that disgusting place generate a profit in anyway was something I just couldn’t stomach …
So — I was back to square 1 — at now 8pm on a Saturday night. Thinking most pawn shops would now be closed but I still decided to give Google another search and BAM — there it was, my diamond in the rough, Trusted Pawn, open till 9pm on Saturdays!
From the moment I stepped foot into that place, I felt welcomed, comfortable, and appreciated! The owner, Alex, took a look at my MacBook for about 2 minutes, saw it was indeed a 2015, with nice storage and in very good condition, and just like that he said «Yep, $ 300, no problem!» I think my jaw hit the floor lol. I, of course, accepted immediately and from there, he asked for my ID, did some quick paperwork, I signed a few papers (which he made sure to explain and ensure I understood what everything meant before I signed it) and he handed me 3 crisp $ 100 bills and I was out the door! Entire process maybe took 15 minutes! Oh — and as I was walking out, not only did he shake my hand and thank me several times, he told me to make sure I grabbed a cold drink out of the cooler he has near the front of the shop! So I ended up not only leaving extremely satisfied but also with $ 300 and an ice cold Coca-​Cola!
The proof is in the name of this place — TRUSTED Pawn — is exactly what they are! I will never go to ANY other pawn shop in the future, if and when I come across other items I need to get rid of. Alex, the owner, and every other employee in the place are professional, courteous, and you can TRUST that you will get the very best deal and service at this place! Seriously, don’t waste your time going anywhere else — you will NOT be disappointed by Alex or Trusted Pawn.
Thanks again, Alex! You run a fantastic business and I will maybe be seeing you again soon! And I can assure you I will and already HAVE been spreading the word about your shop! Without a doubt — 5 stars!!! Wish I could give more!

I love this pawn shop. I have never been to not one single pawn shop where they were honest and beyond nice. You won’t have any problems at all, everything will be clear and legit. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I recently visited this pawn shop looking to pawn 3 items. The owner is a great guy! Very friendly and he works with you. He even offered me a water. Never have I received such great service.

This is a great store with awesome customer service. Went in to get cash for some jewelry I do not wear any more and the pricing was very fair. Owner offers you a drink while filling out paper work! Clean shop with great merchandise. I definitely will come back!
