Sunday night is my favorite night to go. They have the best music and also every Sunday they have a drag show called«Life’s a Drag». They play the best techno and everyone is free to dance and have a good time. I never have been harassed by any guys while I was there(could be that they are gay, as Sunday is gay night). The bartenders are really hot too!!! As for the drinks prices… well it seems I still have yet to actually pay for my drinks.

I totally love this place on sundays, They have those gay nights(im a girl so i like it), its fun to go there with your friends, get a table and chill til l12. Than Daisy comes out) She is so funny. They entertain you with different funny concerts and jokes, Good music. 3 different dance floors. Cheap drinks… i think we got a bottle for like 50 $ and for a 100 you can get the whole table reserved with a drink. St one of the dancing floors they have a pole so me and my girls would have a blast there))) Totally a fun place. There’s a lso a whole bunch of parking places in the back area :) you just gotta find it)

Ok place. Could be a lot better. Should advertise more, considerably fewer patrons than other places in the area. Drinks were strong but kind of pricey. Ladies drank free when we were there on Saturday(I of course paid through the nose). VERY friendly staff, barteder Tracy was as competent and professional as she was gorgeous. Music was good, kind of a blend of everything. Worth a trip around the corner from the main street for a look.

I’ve gone to Riverfront many times and I always have fun no matter what. One day some guy came up to us while we were walking toward The Art Bar and offered is a free entrance certificate for the night. We were a block away so we figured ‘what the hell’. There is a reason they were giving people free entrance passes. The place was completely empty. And the hostess was beyond rude. First she grilled all of us on every detail written on our licenses and then questioned us for a good fifteen minutes on the circumstances in which we acquired these passes. Just as we turned and were about to leave she stopped and let us in. We stopped at the bar for drinks but the bar tender was dancing and never paid any attention to us or anyone else at the bar. We were standing there waiting for about ten minutes. The music wasn’t anything to write home about. And we left, taking our money elsewhere. All in all… thirty minutes of my life that I’ll never get back. What a complete waste of time.

This is my favorite club on Wed night. Usually when I go there, I get to dance a lot with my buddies. I go with a group of dancers(mostly b-boys), so it’s all about dancing for us. I generally have a great time there. It seems a lot of people rate this place pretty low, but I like it a lot. I think everyone should try it once. If you want to dance, VooDoo has three floors to dance to, so it’s pretty good. I would recommend this place ^^

WOW!!! I am shocked that opinions can differ so greatly but I do have a theory which I will, for the most part, keep to myself. I would simply suggest the other reviewers go to Whiskey Blue at W Hotel Ft Lauderdale instead. I reviewed that place as well. So I went on a Sunday night, where the Lounge has a female impersonator show surrounded by lots of dancing, great music, and beautiful people. Now, here is where it gets a bit strange. In many clubs like this, the beautiful people stand around staring at each other and profiling. They are typically mean and arrogant. The bartenders tend to be fake and annoying, and the door men and security staff are all assholes. VOODOOLOUNGEWASCOMPLETELYNOT *THAT* CLUB. Bartenders: Friendly and fast. Good looking but not posers. And they do not flirt with clients to try to get better tips. Or at least they did not seem blatant about it. Door men/Security: Abnormally friendly, helpful, and even part of the show at one point. Clientele: Hot, diverse, and genuinely fun! My partner and I went together but met some other folks from our hotel and ended up hanging out quite a bit with a bachelorette party! Everyone we saw was friendly and open to conversation … except these two jerks from our hotel we recognized, tried to speak too, and were sumarily dismissed… who were by the way two of the very few UNattractive people in the bar. I would estimate the crowd on Sunday was about 70⁄30 gay/straight, which was a fun crowd. And there was no kissing or the other annoying public displays of affection you typically see at other gay or Whiskey Blue like clubs. It just seemed no one here had anything to prove. Drinks: Small and in plastic cups, but about the same price as drinks at the hotel bars and enough to get us all buzzed. Show: HILARIOUS. The host was awesome. Gay or straight, as long as you have a good attitude, you would have fun. She was hilarious and really got the audience involved. But unlike some drags shows, she was not obnoxious and did not just talk for hours. And, the show had two segments spread across the night so you could do a lot of dancing in between. Overall, this was one of my most fun nights in Ft. Lauderdale and it redeemed the prior nights attempts at visiting bars(Whiskey Blue — 3 stars, other bars — too bad to merit Unilocaling and I’m a bit embarassed to admit I went to one of them.) End … Ok, so I do have a few comments on reviews from other Unilocalers: — the one that says it smells. I would think about the day you go and the clientele attracted that day and consider choosing another day. –trashy stained furniture? Hmmm. Again, no idea what Rachael refers to but unlike the W Bars that focus so much on décor that the music sucks and the drinks are too expensive, this place was actually fun! Enough so that I perhaps did not sit on the furniture enough to determine if it were stained. –David definitely went on some special event day. My cover was $ 10 and I did not wait at all and really enjoyed myself. But it must have been fun to meet all those people. Sounds cool!

this place is cool on wednesdays. women usually drink for free on wednesdays also(not sure if that’s still relevant, haven’t been there in a while). it smells like piss outside though.

Honestly? I prefer The Brick for dancing, and that’s kinda sad. However, last Saturday it was free, and girls got free well drinks. They didn’t have to be unescorted either. I think there’s a better mix of people, and in general there are less meatheads and more better-looking people. The side room(Rodman’s Rehab), the new locale for the indie party Heatr on Sat, was stuffy and hot. The smoke machines that blew upside-down geysers from the ceiling at random times detracted too much from the music. However, it’s the only place in the Fort where you can dance with the hipsters and find the closest thing to an indie crowd. In both bars, the drinks were fairly cheap(especially mine), so I guess it has that in its favor. It’s both less urban and less NY/NJ Italian meathead than most of the dance clubs in the downtown Fort that usually are heavily one or the other, so I guess it has that in its favor too. I almost never go out dancing in Fort Lauderdale anymore, instead making the drive to downtown Miami… or the Design District sometimes… but I guess when I’m lazy, I’ll have to settle with The Brick. :S

YOUHAVEGOTTOCHECKOUTTHISCLUB!!! I hate to sound like a club whore or even stuck-up, but when I wait in line for 40 minutes and then pay $ 40 for cover I expect something exceptional. This club definitely provided an exceptional experience! My first visit to Ft. Lauderdale was amazing this Labor Day weekend and I had the privilege of meeting Dennis Rodman, hearing Tracy Young & Tony Moran spin, and seeing one of the best drag shows on earth(and I’m from Atlanta, so trust me… I know a good drag show). Whatever the wait is… it’s worth it. Whatever the cost is… it’s worth it!
