This salon is located in strip mall off of Oakland Park. Lots of parking up front. I arrived at 11:55 AM on a Sunday (the salon opens at noon.) Two other women were already ahead of me so I guess I could have come in earlier to get my name on the list. They take your payment first. The young lady at the desk is very kind. Heads up: they up-​charge for everything and the price board on the wall does not accurately reflect the costs. I wanted a sew-​in ($ 50) with closure (now $ 75). But wait! I brought in a multi-​way lace closure so that’s $ 15 extra… Then a wash and condition ($ 20) and finally $ 2 to process my credit card. Apparently the sew-​in cost is only for two bundles of hair. If you want a third, that’s another $ 15! When it was all said and done, I paid the $ 112 and waited for my turn. ALL but two stylists were late. Mine showed up at 12:30 PM. Remember the salon opens at 12. Anyway the woman who took down my hair and washed it was really upset that I hadn’t washed and detangled my hair prior to coming. Remember I paid for a wash and condition. So she washed it without pleasure and roughly attempted to detangle my 4c hair with a combed blow dryer. She then proceeded in the most ungentle way to braid my hair. She told me my hair annoyed her because of its thickness. (Not my fault) I sat there really hoping I was not damaging my natural hair that I’ve been growing out for 2.5 years. I then got my hair installed by the stylist. The results in the end were fine and even after the tardiness of the stylist, the process was quick but this does not make up for anything. If you’re looking for a friendly salon, this is not it. If you’re looking for a place that will be gentle on your 4c hair, this is not it. Come if you have no other options and need a quick sew-​in installed. All in all, I was not happy with the service I received and do not recommend this salon.
