Me and my girlfriend enjoyed the service so much we want to come back next week! The Lamb Shank is to die for and the wine the server suggested went perfect with the lamb! Will be coming back real soon!

Been there a few times now. I really like coming here. Last night 3 adults and 2 young children. People are so friendly and helpful. Boosters for the little ones. Sippy cups, split pasta for them. Totally accommodative. Not that I want to be there with others screaming kids. Our mains were exccelent. Chicken parm, eggplant rolotini, grouper. All great. Pastas and bread were great. Very good and quite reasonable. One of my favorites.

Not a big fan of the new format… been going to Zuckies since 2004 on a regular basis, and LOVED it — always consistently excellent (apart from the fact that the food never comes out hot and always has to go back to be made HOT), seen all the changes in menu, appreciated them all and kept going back year after year — but this recent change to the menu is a downgrade. A DOWNGRADE! Prices have gone up (which I guess is OK), but they’ve taken away the steamed veggies etc. that they used to give with the entrée, like Chicken Zuckerello, and now they offer «a house salad» with your entrée. A house salad? And they’ve added an a la carte veggie section, where you can purchase them separately, like asparagus etc… NO THANKS! You’ve taken away something we really liked (veggies), put the prices up, added a CHEAP house salad so that dummies will still think oh, we’re getting good value, we’re getting a house salad included in the price — when it’s a much cheaper option for them! It’s so much a lower cost, to just toss some salad in a bowl — and for us, It’s an insult! Zuckies used to be a classy place, comfort food, huge portions of consistently good food, great service. Service is STILL excellent. I can’t emphasize enough, the house salad option is a total downgrade. Not to mention we had the lasagna there last week, and all I can say is that Stouffers make a better lasagna. It tasted SO «bought» and not home made — very dry, and even the addition of extra marinara sauce didn’t help … I brought some leftovers home and I can’t even bring myself to eat it. It’s just so below average and salty. It’s just not good. It’s sitting in the fridge still, staring at me every time I open the door, and I just look at it and close the door. Just like the cheapest, processed lasagna ever. HOWEVER, the chicken zuckerello, now $ 18.95, was excellent though — no complaints there — the place was packed — great bread and garlic — it’s overall a GREAT place, a real winner — we’re just saying, the menu changes that have recently took place, it’s a downgrade. We left there feeling really irritated that they’d try to fool us into thinking yay! a house salad! while taking away our beloved veggies — and the poor lasagna — we just figure it will be a while before we go back. Sorry Zuckies :-(

Been coming here for years but first time last nite Saturday. 2x bartenders, 1 young lady and 1 guy. We had her and unfortunately, had to call her over to get any service, which is amazing since we were sitting in front of her by the register. We even had to get cashed out by the guy bartender who was on his game. The young lady was «disinterested» entire time there. I still give the place 5 stars due to the overall service we get from Steve, etc. and the food.

Everyone is helpful! Owner and manager played with our kids! And then brought us free deserts out of the blue!

The Owner «Eli» is always watching everyone, from kitchen, to wait staff, including the manager and even bus boys! If there’s a small issue free things just start showing up on table like magic and don’t fight it just enjoy his hospitality & the newest tastes from the kitchen!
They even have meatball app w ricotta
(Better than that $$$$ place at hard rock. Affordable/​u get 3 tasty monster balls lol)
Ps super kid friendly — separate area towards the other side if you want to be away from adult scene, which makes this a great bistro bar to go with or without the kids* The place is huge! (And for OCD People like me the Bathroom is spotless!)
Now the Service
Staff amazing & especially the Chef’s creations ON MENU, & OFF THE MENU variety are second to none !
The bartenders drinks are strong and tasty & Just like the chef you can have everything you’re way if you choose:)
I wanted a margarita w rum and the steak with the sides from a different dish and all I heard from waiter was No Problem ;) Thank You!
Just one example of how this owner leads his staff by example, he was once a waiter there so he knows what’s up, and what’s going on at all times. That just highlights Eli’s understanding & dedication to customer satisfaction, he has true love for his customers, his employees and his business for over 20 years! And it shows!
He will never chang that aspect of his commitment, only the décor of the restaurant :)
Which I must say keeps it refreshing interesting and KEEPS US COMING BACK!!! XOXOXO

Eli the owner must be OCD also because they completely Remodel kitchen and restaurant every 6 months (No Joke they close for 2 weeks every year minimum to remodel) no need for Restaurant Impossible to help this entrepreneur!

This place was incredible! It was my boyfriend and I’s first time going here and the waiter was so inviting and helpful when telling us about the dinner specials that included a soup/​salad, dinner, coffee/​tea, and dessert! The place was crowded and a bit noisy but that’s to be expected from a popular place.
It was decently priced for the quality of food they gave you, and it was really good. I had the Atlantic Salmon and my man had the Lamb Shank; both of which were tender and perfectly cooked. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone because they have a little bit of everything on their menu.

Large portions, a little long wait, but others were in and out much faster. Meals were just ok for flavor

I have been coming here for years! The moment you walk in and being greeted by the manager and owner is warming. The whole ambiance is excellent! The staff are always so attentive, the food is always fresh & the portions are out of this world! For the price, you cannot compare this gem to any other restaurant! Trust my word, I am a foodie and have been all over and this has to be the best restaurant in town! Gotta love the family style vibe as well! Try them out, you’ll thank me later!

I was invited to a birthday dinner at the restaurant. We ordered appetizers when we noticed a roach crawling on one member of our party. «It was disgusting!!» I completely lost my appetite and will never EVER return. I do not recommend this restaurant. I do recommend that they get a visit from the health department instead.

We made a reservation for 4 at 6:00. When our party of four women arrived, we were greeted promptly and the host was very friendly. He said to sit us on the other side of the restaurant rather than in the main section, and claimed it was a special table. Meanwhile, other than a family with children we were the only people seated on that side. I observed all types of dinner parties enter the restaurant and they sat in the main restaurant side. I sure as heck hope this had nothing to do with the assumed sexual orientation of our party. We also observed the owner visit a few tables but didn’t come over to our table once. I was trying to give the host and the owner the benefit of the doubt but it was odd. On another note, the food was average Italian food and my pasta was over cooked… which is unacceptable at an Italian restaurant.

First time here. Clean upbeat atmosphere. Being 100% Sicilian I can tell pre made food and supposed Italian food. I was very impressed w the quality of the food, including the fresh bread and fresh made garlic spread before the meal and the portion was generous. Our server, Alli, was absolutely wonderful. I’d gladly come back here again.

Solid Italian fare. Good wine list selection. Had a few appetizers… Best was the Eggplant tower. Beef carpaccio was decent though and fried calamari was OK, but nothing special
Dinner was seafood lasagna and it was excellent. Service was excellent as well. Definitely will return for the appetizer Happy Hour specials they have.

Been eating here for years, through changes in ownership I think. Nothing fancy; just good quality food and good service. Garlic rolls are great! Reasonably priced; not the place for a gourmet meal or something adventurous, but a good local Italian restaurant.

Attentive service, lively weekend atmosphere, and giant portions make this place a good option when looking for a «traditional» Italian restaurant. Nothing pretentious, mostly an older crowd and families.

I have been eating here for over 13 years now. The food, service, and atmosphere
are excellent. The nightly specials are inventive and always delicious. The entrees
are large. Two people sharing and appetizer and desert with two entrees will satisfy the
heartiest of appetites.
This place is very busy during the winter season, weekends year round, and holidays.
But the food is always consistent and they do not rush you. I just do not understand
how some customers gave this place three stars or less.

Looking for a new place to eat we stumbled upon this restaurant. Very reasonable and great service. Good early dinner specials. Nice hot bread with a garlic spread that was so good that i could’ve had just that and wine for dinner. Good sized salad and decent portions. We had an appetizer and 2 main courses with 2 glasses of wine and bill came to $ 62
Worth it! Staff was great too.

This place used to be great. But now they’ve gone completely downhill and they serve the typical crappy Italian food that tastes like it was cranked out of a massive kitchen in a few minutes. The bartenders suck. They never make a martini correctly. The acoustics are TERRIBLE. Prepare to yell at each other to hear.
I’ve been here a dozen or more times. Eli the manager knows my face. I must say shalom and farewell.
