This place in Fort Lee does not have the same items as the one in Edgewater I don’t know if the catering to a different kind of people they also took the liquor department out they run out of items not replaced on the shelf. AAMP was the biggest in the country they made a mistake when they took Pathmark yes they couldn’t hold up their end with two giant stores because this Acme cannot hold a candle next to the MP and Pathmark what a shame.

The worst. It will only be time before they shutter their doors like A & P. Their store brands are horrific. Horrible quality. Store is always empty and not clean. I remember Acme when I was growing up. I’m over 50 now. Thought they went out of business years ago. Only a matter of time before that happens. Shop Rite is the way to go.

They need more of an organic selection and bring back the wine! The people are nice though and helped me find french’s dried onion when my girlfriend sent me alone to pick up food for a thanksgiving dinner. I would’ve never survived on my own.

RIP Pathmark & A&P. The disappointment is real. Speaking of disappointment, now that ACME came to town, there’s no more liquor/beer aisle! :’(No more 1 a.m. beer runs for me and my friends, folly af on ACME’s part. I guess I’ll survive. Prices are kind of all over the place. Some things are expensive, but sale prices aren’t bad I suppose. It’s a hit or miss situation. As someone else mentioned, I saw some produce that was WAY expired. Make sure you double check your stuff guys. On the bright side, at least they had the decency to keep the Starbucks. I haven’t been here enough times to give a super thorough review, this is just my experience and opinion thus far. Will update eventually!

I was soooo disappointed that ACME is just continuing A&P’s terrible management of not checking inventory. I found black and blue mold in the pasta section. SERIOUSLY? Keeping the old workers was probably not a good idea. This is disgusting and now I have to be back on edge as I was when this place was A&P last month. Dammit. Had such high hopes! Seems like perpetual turmoil.

Went today for the first time not realizing that the switch from A&P had already happened. It was a pleasant surprise. Much cleaner and brighter now, plus things seemed more organized. Prices are much more reasonable and staff were friendly and helpful. Just be careful about sell by dates – when I got home I noticed the milk and meat I bought both had sell by dates within the next 2 days.
