I totally agree with Branden K., I wish I had read this before book an appt. Spent over 1K but look worse!!! when something is mess up. they will blame on the patient. I went to him for rhinoplasty 6 years ago. Not only did he have no bedside manners, he botched my nose. After the surgery, my nose was wider(which was not what I wanted), asymmetrical, unnatural looking, and it started whistling! When I went back to consult him about it, he was rude, defensive and refused to help me. I consulted with other plastic surgeons and ALL of them said that he had done a bad job. I ended up spending a lot of money getting a revision surgery to fix what he had done. I wish I hadn’t have gone to him.

Dr. Ahn is one of the best doctor I have ever came across. I had sinus and allergy problem. I had stuffy nose and was sneezing a lot. I have seen a big improvement. The staffs were very nice and helpful too. I highly recommend Dr. Ahn.

It’s been several years since I’ve been a patient of this doctor’s. I had made an appointment because I had recurring and frequent nosebleeds. I regret doing so however because all the doctor did was swab Vaseline in my nose, each of my three or so visits there. I was just a kid back then, but I still to this day remember the words«Nurse, bring me, lots and LOTS of vaseline.» After smearing the inside of my nose with a pound of Vaseline(#hyperbole), he would send me home. I don’t get why he couldn’t just tell me to do that on my own after diagnosing me during my first visit. The WORST part of this was that weeks later, my parents got a bill in the mail saying the doctor did nose«surgery» on me… I didn’t realize Vaseline was considered a surgical procedure. We let it slide because it was covered by insurance, and my parents don’t like conflict, but years later looking back, I regret letting this tragically unethical behavior from a doctor slide. Please don’t go to this doctor; find a more ethical ENT, who cares about his patients more than making an easy buck. Doctors should live by their oath. This kind of dishonesty is absolutely unforgivable behavior.

Save yourself months of agony and loads of cash, Avoid this place. People there turn really rude if they mess up with the procedure and patients start complaining. Very unprofessional. Regrets. regrets

Dr. Ahn is an outstanding plastic surgeon. Whether it is a simple injectable or a surgical procedure, the results are outstanding. His work is never obvious. While most doctors are quick to say you need something, Dr. Ahn will never try to sell you on anything. He spends time with his patients and thoroughly explains everything. He is a doctor I highly recommend and will continue to recommend to others

Dr. Ahn may be a skillful plastic surgeon(I know he’s an ENT on the side), but when it comes to pt care, I can no longer consider him as a doctor. Coming from a doctor’s perspective, I am so baffled to understand how he can even maintain such an enormous pt flow of his practice and yet with such a poor bedside manner! He is: 1) Cocky 2) Rude, terse, unfriendly 3) Careless about the well-being of the pt 4) Driven only for expensive procedures For some reason, he kept on rushing me. He didn’t know I was a doctor and I was there as a patient, so I didn’t talk to him like a doctor. So I asked him a few layman questions(but perfectly legit), he was ready to throw me out. So I had to stop asking questions. What an ass! If all he cared about was money, I don’t even know why he’s still in this profession. I can’t even believe he teaches at Columbia. Now it makes me puke to think that he’s teaching our future medical professionals. My 2 cents doctor’s advice is don’t go to him. There are plenty of good trustworthy and competent ENTs out there.
