OMG! This place was find after me and some friends left dinner at So Kong Dong around the corner. The wait staff were pleasant and charming. They seated us at a outside table so we could have a nice twilight view of the night sky. We ordered tea and some pastries which complemented each other really well. As I was leaving I ordered pineapple Patbingsu(), I was with friends and we had a rental so our time was short. I surely will visit again as I really liked the ambiance.

this place has great tea variety! the ambience is chill, soft soul music & dim lights. we had the green rooibos tea(which is fruity) & mate mocha nut, both were tasty. we ordered chocolate lava cake & red bean soup(dessert) both were good. the soup’s sweetness is just right, but its rather heavy. it could be a meal by itself, so that wasnt a good choice for me at 11p. i would def get it again just earlier in the day.

I had the most amazing bubble tea in my life at Tea Bar. If bubble tea msg is a thing I would have suspect that Tea Bar had put them in the drinks. Wow. Now whenever I think of bubble tea I think Tea Bar.

Latte is good. But the piece of tiramisu I prefer to call it tiramisu-shape cake. No lady finger no rum, way too sweet.

We went here after great ramen lunch — my friend and I was debating between Café Bene or this local store and eventually decided to go for Tea Bar as we tried Café Bene in Ktown before. Even though the place is call Tea Bar, it is less of cookies & tea place and more like a lunch place. We got peach tea and Red Velvet cake with ice cream. It costed $ 7 for small glass of tea for two — I frankly did not expect our $ 7 tea to be served in that dull plastic glass. The ice-cream scoop costs $ 3 extra and it’s just some mediocre vanilla ice-cream.

Customer service fails in some areas. Food is made incredibly fast to the point that when I tried to change my order a minute after, I couldn’t because they had already put the patty down on the burger I ordered. Also bothered me that I couldn’t just substitute the fries in my meal for Ktown fries by just paying extra. Food is decent. I think just getting dessert & tea is better. Red velvet lava cake is delicious and not too sweet. Tea list is ample.

Overall, this venue is pretty nice. The décor is welcoming and the staff is nice. Would I call it a «café» necessarily? I’m not sure. They definitely offer a wide range of teas but it’s food menu almost warrants calling it a restaurant. The food items aren’t just small dishes but include Korean barbecue marinated meats, burgers, fries, and some other bar fare. Despite the confused feeling of «am I in a restaurant or a café,» my experience here was good. The food was good, the tea was good. If I’m back in this area, I would give it another go.

I love the ambiance of this restaurant. It’s very relaxing and dim, making it perfect for a date night with just about anyone(significant other or friends). Although I really do miss their old burgers from three years ago… the buns were a lot tastier back then and now, the quality has gone down. However, their steak salad and ktown fries are delicious! Just stay away from the burgers. Service is attentive and nice. They refill the water for your tea pot whenever it is empty :)

BYOB. i haven’t really had their food here but came for dessert many times. Like I mentioned it’s BYOB but there is a cork charge of $ 5 per bottle I believe. Staff is super friendly!

Four stars until further notice. Went to Fort Lee to get some bubble tea and went into the Tea Bar because it’s the first that came up on google. Definitely not what I expected. The interior looked very pleasant and the food of the patrons inside looked and sounded great. It was so cozy inside and the staff was really friendly. Unfortunately, I had just eaten so I just got the bubble tea to go. The tea was delicious and now I KNOW I have to go back for lunch. Update to come.

I absolutely adore this restaurant and have been here many times. The service is the same each time– professional, respectful, very competent, and super friendly. I’ve no qualms about tipping at least 25% here; the servers here definitely deserve it. The K-Town fries are very, very delicious and addicting, and the bubble teas here are very good! A plus is the the very cute mugs they serve the bubble tea in when you dine in. Always look forward to going back here for fresh and delicious, reasonably-priced and good-quality food.

I came here because a friend recommended it and it was so cute and the food was great! I ordered the K-Town Burger, which was a cheeseburger with a perfectly fried egg and mild kimchi and served as a relish — loved it. Even the French fries that came with the burger were nicely seasoned. For dessert I ordered the chocolate lava cake and it was decadent and huge — perfect for sharing. I would definitely eat here again.

This place is great. Certainly not what I think of when I think«Tea Bar.» I envisioned more of a traditional, western tea room experience. This is more like a legitimate Korean restaurant with a particular penchant for good tea. Cute place located in a shopping center with its own parking lot. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of polite service — opening the doors for us when we left and bowing — not something I expect at a café-like atmosphere(much less at most eateries in America). I tried their bulgogi bibimbop which was made well with fresh vegetables and ingredients. My hubby loved the seafood rice cake which was spicy with a slow burn that slowly spreads throughout seconds after eating — he said the seafood was really good too. We tried a hot tea and a bubble tea, which ended up being more slushy in nature than a true tea. Either way, both were good. You get one free hot water refill for the hot tea. Being a hater of chai, I enjoyed the apricot tea which had just enough fragrance but still had a traditional tea taste that prevented it from being liquid potpourri. Unilocal says live music on Saturdays — didn’t really see this when we were there. They were playing jazz over the speakers, though.

I love this place for a couple of reasons: 1. their food is always fresh 2. the service is great 3. perfect date night spot with your girlfriends or your significant other 4. a variety of choices on the menu 4. it’s byob! Definitely try the k-town fries! It gets a little packed on the weekends so make sure you make a reservation if you’re going with a big group!

I’ve only ever tried their taro and green tea bubble teas and their red bean shaved ice, but none of them have disappointed. They’re all so good! Also, when they give you the bubble tea, they tell you that you can try it and ask for it to be less sweet or sweeter depending on your preference which is nice. Cute ambiance too! Very chill.

So I was in New Jersey for a bit sleeping over my friends house and we woke up a bit past breakfast. He said, «Hey wanna go to Tea Bar?» Naturally I said, «What the heck is a Tea Bar?» Why couldn’t we just go to IHOP!!! I didn’t expect much from this place at first, but I was actually pleasantly surprised! I walked in with my friends and the inside of this place has a nice feel and atmosphere to it. There was a good blend of artificial and natural lighting to give off a calm and relaxed feel in the room. The AC was pretty cold but I’m not really complaining. We sat down and the waiter came to take our orders promptly. It was about lunch time so we got the lunch time prices which were pretty affordable in my book(10 – 12 dollars worth will get you pretty full). My friend got the Ktown burger, Ktown fries, and I got a Philly cheesesteak. After not very long, all our food came out. The orders come with their own fries which have a perfect balance of crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. My cheesesteak was not unlike other cheesesteaks I’ve had but I’d say that the quality of the overall meal was great. The side salad was good too but a bit too acidic for my taste. That might be because I poured in too much dressing though. Ktown fries were the bomb dot com(kimchi+cheese+meat = can’t go wrong). tl;dr — Food was solid, great atmosphere, nice place to eat and chat

Let me start by saying that the service was impeccable. Korean restaurants are not known for service unless of course your at Jung Sik restaurant, but it’s an exception here. And to boot the food is great and fun with diverse menu. BYOB. DONT forget. Go and try different things and lastly get the shaved ice.

Holy heck, this place is not what you’d expect! The name«Tea Bar» conjures up an image of a tiny shop that sells loose tea and maybe a sandwich or two. But this place is a legit restaurant, complete with a gourmet Amerkorean menu, and of course, all the tea varieties your heart could ever desire. When I say, «legit restaurant,» there’s about 5 employees with headsets running about at any given time. The décor is cozy and casual but still nice enough for a date. $ 5 for a personal tea, it comes loose in a neat vehicle that allows you to strain it without making a mess(perfect for klutzes such as myself.) As for the food, all I’ve tried so far is the tofu with mixed vegetables, which I very much enjoyed. The only downfall is legit = not cheap. Expect to spend a pretty penny here, there’s even a $ 5 corking fee for each bottle of wine(does it still count if I bring a box?) Thankfully, the quality is there so Tea Bar receives a solid 4 stars.

Recently I led a big, motley group around Fort Lee’s Koreatown to sample some of the cuisine. We had only planned to go to three restaurants, but when clearing our planned itinerary with my Korean boss, she asked a simple question. «Are you going to end with some patbingsu?» she said. It was a reasonable question. But each one of our previous food tours has ended with no room for dessert. Only at the very first one had we even made it to the place where dessert was scheduled. I’d stopped even planning for it because of early-onset food comas. How could the Korean one be any different? It wasn’t for lack of options at the first three places. But a combination of late buses, a lengthy amount of time at the third restaurant and a generally jovial atmosphere meant that pretty much everyone was willing to go this tiny coffee shop and sample Korean shaved ice. Patbingsu is the Korean take on the dessert that is available in nearly every Asian country, from the ABC of Malaysia to the halo-halo of the Philippines. The Korean version is surprisingly high on cuteness and presentation. At The Tea Bar, most dishes seemed designed for the matching outfits on a date set, so the red bean shaved ice(the main patbingsu available) comes shaped like a bunny rabbit in a giant red mug. Our party of 14(all of us white) were a bit of the norm for the Saturday night we arrived. Every other table was on a date. No matter. The patbingsu(and the variety of coffees and teas) we had to wash down earlier courses were excellent. Each layer had a different surprise, from the bits of nuts and fruits and the combination of shaved ice and ice cream. The ice base meant this wasn’t too filling, but there was still plenty of sweetness to make this a treat. When we entered, a slightly mystified person behind the counter asked me: «What is this?» Nothing too special. Just a bunch of friends seeking(and finding) some of the best food in the city.

A nice restaurant that happens to be named after it’s specialty*Tea*. They have huge selection of teas that taste great. The bubble tea is awesome too. I had the green tea bubble tea on this visit. It tasted fresh and the bubbles were even good not like those fake sugar filled bubbles. The Ktown fries are my favorite. Packed with flavor, come bulgogi meat, cheddar cheese, a little kimchi, and the works. The seafood rice was small but made well and packed with various seafood. The bulgogi was delicous, i really am a fan of the way this place seasons the beef so well. Definitely cant go wrong with either of these items. Oh and the lava cake you just gota try and judge for yourself lol. I enjoyed it. They usually have nice smooth music playing 10⁄22 came here with one of coworkers tonight. she and I both felt the quality has gone down. Definitely don’t recommend any of their steak dishes… service was a little of today too. Had to decrease the stars. Didnt even have the music playing tonight.
