This was my go to spot. I go there a lot. Never was I ever greeted politely. Today was the last straw. I ordered the same thing as I ordered everyday but they gave me white rice and not brown rice. They also didn’t even bother to give me a fork. The fat kid has an attitude also. Seriously if you hate your job done work there and don’t take your frustration on customers. These people aren’t good people. Never coming back.

I order from U-Like often. My family loves the food. The food is delivered promptly. We are satisfied with the staff. We are quite pleased.

Ordered the beef with snow peas. More like snow peas with specs of beef. Paid $ 12 for sautéed beans, very disappointed. Noticed the same before but not this bad, looks like their rent costs went way up. Also tasted bland. Better to order an all meat/vegetable dish so there’s no surprises.

Great take-out place convenient to the GW and Palisades Parkway. Easy to grab on way home and the food is fantastic!

Better Chinese food than in the Essex County area where I reside. Lunch specials are good, including seafood options. If you do like seafood, try the Scallop w. Garlic Sauce, Shrimp w. Garlic Sauce, or Szechaun Shrimp. Fast and friendly delivery person.

The search is over! I’ve been living in Fort Lee for 4 years and have been in search for a great Chinese take-out restaurant. It’s excellent! No fat on the boneless spare ribs whatsoever. Everything else we got was great.

Beef with Bean curd is the champion dish of this restaurant. I also like their Singapore chow mei fun as well, their food is fattier than another Chinese restaurant King Hong in Fort Lee, it tastes really good while the food is hot, but while the food is getting cold, you can easily see a lot of oil floating in the bottom of dish and kind of gross me out.

The food is better than most of their local competition in the same price range. Prices are a little high though. Service is usually curt. Generally speaking a large order is enough for two people. Lunch specials give a good portion of food with a pint of soup, egg roll or soda. We order about one night a week. Favs: Steamed Dumplings, Sesame Chicken, Sesame Shrimp, Egg Rolls, Hot & Sour or Wonton Soup, Shredded Pork, Chicken w/Broccoli in Garlic Sauce.

Came here for lunch one day after an interview. Had the wonton egg drop soup and beef and broccoli. The wonton egg drop soup was alright. Normally it has the meat strings and green onions in it like the wonton soup has. But it depends what they put in their wonton soup. It was lacking some wonton soup flavor. The dumplings in the soup were good. The beef and broccoli was good too. It was a great size, I saved half for dinner. The white rice was pretty sticky. It was more like sushi rice. They are very fast in making the food.

The food is ok, well at least the chicken and broccoli lunch special. The prices on the other hand includes the rent. Lunch special $ 8.00, really? At the request of my husband I ordered 1 chicken and broccoli with white rice, 1 schezuan beef with pork fried rice and half a fried chicken. The bill $ 24 plus, the money is not an issue but im still not sure if that was beef. The people are tense because of the nondescript meat, also known as cat the other white meat. Seriously, not a single stray anywhere… NJ restaurants are just one big disappointment after another and this place is no exception.

If I can, I would give this place no stars. I called in for a pick up order after work. I walked in the door and the worker was cutting his nails on top of the pick up counter. He saw me walk in, and swept the table towards him to clean off the nail clippings on the counter. I was disgusted at first, but paid for my food, and left. I got home, and opened my bag and what do I see? All the nail clippings from the counter inside my bag. Yes it was on top of the plastic lid but that’s just plain disgusting and unsanitary. Will never go here again.

Do not go here. Rudest people ever. When they messed up my order they accused me of ordering the wrong thing. All the while you can clearly see she checked what I correctly ordered on the menu. No apologies from them either, just a nasty stare. I will never return here. These people are just nasty.

The food is really good, but the meat dishes contain very little beef, chicken, or whatever seafood you’re getting. Twice they’ve messed up my order. I’ll give them another chance sometime because, like I said, the food is good, but I’m going to check out some other places in the meantime.

I had given these guys a good review, and have ordered from them almost weekly for the past two years. In the past few weeks, the food has gone sharply downhill. I don’t know if it’s a change in ingredients or what, but everything is BLAND. Almost no flavor at all, most recently had veggie lo mein, veggie fried rice, beef with string beans, chicken with broccoli, and kung pao chicken. All simple, yes, but usually have nice rich flavor. This time, the calories weren’t even worth it. I’ve had bad Chinese before, but not just tasting like… nothing. Will be on the lookout for better takeout in Fort Lee.

Other than super fast delivery, the food is by far not the best in town. We ordered a very typical General Tso Chicken and I was definitely surprised that such a typical meal like that could be messed up. The restaurant itself seems cleaner than other Chinese take-out places, and you can see how the chef prepares each meal, but other than that the food is not that great. I would only order from this place if I’m super hungry and is to lazy to go out.

Shrimp with lobster sauce is my main dish here. I really like it. General Tso’s is not too good because it’s a bit soggy, I suspect if they left it in the deep fryer for just 3 – 5 minutes longer it would be spot on.

I’ve ordered this place for the first time couple of weeks ago and then ordered it again recently. My favorite is Roast Duck which in my opinion is the BEST around here and not so expensive. Sure I can order it from Cheng Du 46 or other more well established places but for a take out… hm. YESITROCKS! There’s always a long wait since it is right in the middle of a small mall next to Subway and Verizon store. I would suggest that you phone-in the order and pick it up. ENJOY!

Solid chinese take-out. Nothing spectacular here, just solid Chinese cookin’ I do have two complaints however: 1. They only serve small portions on several items. For most of the menu, you must order a large. Very annoying. 2. They use a POS system to enter in your order. No longer do you have a Chinese lady yelling out your order at the top of her lungs. I never realized how much that was part of the Chinese take-out experience.

U LIKE? U CRAZY? In a Korean town, this place serves up third rate Chinese food. This is your typical hole-in-the-wall Chinese takeout joint. Nothing here is noteworthy and everything is generously greasy. A recent reviewer spoke of authentic Chinese food in Shanghai restaurants and bashed the Americanized dishes that would not be found in any«real» Chinese restaurant. Everyone of the«fake» dishes that he mentioned were on U Like’s menu. Although he failed to confirm whether Chicken Wings, Fried Chicken, and French fries which are also on U Like’s menu would be found in a Shanghai restaurant. By the end of his 5-Star review he openly admitted that U Like has several«hybrid» dishes. I guess they’re not as authentic as he claims. There are a couple of things that I order at every restaurant before venturing onto more adventurous items. Why would I bother to order the same dishes from every Chinese place? Because how else am I going to compare apples to apples? I need to make a fair comparison of basic dishes against each other. The Fried Dumplings were like doughy stones, so after eating an order of these, you might as well call it a wrap because you’ll have no room for anything else for your meal. They hit your stomach and swell up inside you. I guess that would be one way to have a cheap lunch, but who wants to be bloated with dumpling boulders anyway? I can’t say that the Hot and Sour Soup was the very worst that I’ve ever had, but it was certainly among the least flavorful. It was neither hot nor sour, so someone should consider suing them for false advertisement. I knew that it was now or never for eating this soup, because had I put it in the fridge it would surely have congealed into a gelatinous mess that would never fully liquefy again. Mind you when I find good hot and sour soup its the first thing that I eat right out of the bag and I wouldn’t give the slightest thought to saving it for another day. Yet another sign that this is not the best food on the block. The beef and broccoli was the final nail in the coffin for me. I found the beef to be wholly inedible and actually found myself picking out pieces of firm broccoli and leave behind the soft mushy pieces of beef. I guess I should have ordered the Broccoli with Garlic Sauce instead. At least I could have saved a few dollars and gotten more broccoli for my money. Oh, that’s right! I forgot that I’m NOT a vegetarian! Maybe I should have ordered the Lo Mein instead, but even then I probably would have ordered it with beef and been in the same boat. I cannot say that I like«U Like.» Based on my review, it should be very clear that I strongly dislike«U Like.» I cannot understand why anyone would like«U Like.» Fort Lee has so many other places to try for Asian cuisine that it would seem foolish for them to continue to eat bad food at places like this rather than finding quality food which maybe available in a Chinese-Korean community. I really wish that I could have liked«U Like,» but instead I’ll have to keep my mind on the Chinese places that I love rather than the ones that try to tricking me into liking them.
