We called with an emergency lockout. The owner responded quickly, well before the estimated time. He was able to open my door within a couple minutes and charged a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

George Rice is one of the most honest and trustworthy men I’ve ever met.
He’s helped me out of a jam more than once and, I almost had to force him to accept my money!

George just came out and took care of the mustang. My boyfriend locked his keys inside while running at 8:45am. I called LockMonkeys at 8:54, they answered quickly and said they’d be here in 20 mins. I sat outside waiting with my dog and 20 mins later I seen the van pulling in. It’s clearly labeled so I felt more comfortable considering my boyfriend took my car to the airport instead. There’s a lot of creepy folks and I felt at ease the entire time working with George. He asked for identification and then proceeded to unlock the doors. We’ve locked the keys inside once before and it took two different companies and 2 hours go get it unlocked. Literally 5 mins max. He quoted me a price, I told him about the $ 10 off I seen on Unilocal,he reduced it by the $ 10 without any disagreement or pushback, gave me his card, and told me to have a blessed day. I was all finished before 9:30am. Great service and effective skill. I’m a realtor and work with plenty of folks so I can attest to his quality. Best decision I made all morning!

Nobody wants to have to call the locksmith… but if you do, Lock Monkeys is the one. My apt door lock failed, I had the key but it no longer would work. George was there within ten minutes of my calling. He tried several different things before finally having to drill the lock out. Before drilling, he told me he would leave me with a courtesy lock, so my baby and I wouldn’t have to leave the door unlocked over night. However, George was able to keep the lock working from the inside. Even though I didn’t end up needing it, I really appreciated that offer. He takes debit/​credit, right at the door. He also made sure my receipt said that the lock was faulty and that it was definitely not my fault the lock failed. My apartment, Bromley Village, didn’t care, they would not reimburse me the fee but at least George tried to help.

I found George on Thumbtack and I am very pleased with his service! He re-​keyed my locks in a timely manner and went the extra mile to lubricate and check the mechanisms. One of my locks was not working properly and instead of changing out the entire lock, he replaced a part which saved me $ 40. He made me comfortable and is very friendly and knowledgable. He even gave me tips on how to insert a peephole into my front door. He also informed me about a brown recluse that he found in my shed and how I can correct the issue with moth balls. I highly recommend his services!

We called our Roadside Assistant company because the lock on our motor home broke inside so we were locked out… and our 3 pugs were inside. We were told that it would be about a half hour, but George was there within 15 minutes! Very refreshing to have such a quick response! In the end, we weren’t able to get the lock fixed because it’s a specialty thing, but George went through a window so that we could get the door opened from the inside… to me this was above and beyond his «duty»! We were able to get back inside to our pugs and out of the heat, and had a nice rest before another full day of driving! Thanks, George, for taking such good care of us! No offense, but I hope we don’t need you in the future, but if we do, while driving through Rock Hill, SC, well definitely call you… and only you!
