Bay To Beach Resort

Many good reviews on TripAdvisor convinced me to book this place. What a mistake! Condos are beyond dirty. We asked to check in early, as our flight landed at 9:00am. Nope! We were told that just wasn’t possible. They were doing a deep clean because another renter had been there the week prior. They offered to allow us to leave our bags in the management office. Great! We didn’t rent a car, so this sounded like a good offer. Only problem… upon our arrival we discover the office is locked up tight on Saturdays. Ok. No biggie. We check the lock box and voila! The keys to the unit are sitting in the box, we decide to drop our bags in the room and get outta the cleaning crew’s way. 11:15am and the cleaning service was LONG gone. So a deep cleaning in 90 mins? Sure. I’ve included some pics of the filth inside Aruba 1A. Dirty, egg crusted plates in the cupboards. Nearly every plate and/​or utensil had some crusted food on it. Fans and vents layered with dust. Fridge greasy with food splatters throughout. Popcorn laying on the floor… was the place even vacuumed? Sheets changed? I’m thinking not at this point. It was the weekend, so… had to wait until Monday to voice our concerns. Although the management company tried to be helpful, it really just wasn’t enough. Offering to return and clean the unit didn’t really help… it was STILL dirty after a single woman spent two hours alone cleaning the unit… while we hung around randomly outside the unit. We were told this has NEVER happened before. Yeah. Right. The private beach isn’t all that private, as random beach goers grab the B2B chairs and use them as their own. Other space on the «private» beach was used by non-​renters who found some space wandering down from the public beach… or like one lady and her daughter who daily claimed prime beach real estate, they walked over from their house across Estero with their two dogs. What exactly should I expect at this price point? Certainly not what I’m used to…2 stars for the location and the view from the Lanai. If cleanliness and private beach space are not important to you, this is your place!

Absolutely love these condos! We stay every year for a week, very reasonably priced. Close to Time Square, right on the beautiful beaches! No need to bring chairs just to put back in your car all sandy, they have plenty! Up to date and very clean. Very friendly customer service. Highly recommend!
