My husband and I were tired and just wanted to go somewhere casual for a burger. Restaurant was too busy for an outside table, so we sat at the bar. We had really good food here-we split an order of calamari and the black and blue burger. Very good, even the fries were steaming and crispy. Beautiful view of the sunset and good service. Not very good wine though but not that kind of place. For better quality go to Fresh Catch next door.

Service was absolutely fabulous as well as the jerk mahi mahi! I should’ve ordered the pizza… Omg! It looked soooo good. The drinks were the main reason we went… Nahthey just weren’t made with love… Glasses were dirty but the don julio mojito was pretty good just wished I’d had more of it! Yep., I’m a lush. Forgot to mention my husbands dish. The fried grouper. It was good but the portion was for that of a child not a 200lb grown man

Jan 82016 I was there with my friend. We had drinks and food, the food was just OK. The server was the rudest that I ever met. The server came over and started talking with my friend about the football play offs. The server(JJ) was using the F word more the once. I was appalled, he didn’t know us to talk like that. The service was horrible, I waited forever for catsup, finally my friend had to go and get it. As we were leaving I left my jacket on the chair. 30 seconds later, I asked where my jacket was and he rudely said it’s over there. Hidden under the bar. He rudely got it and almost threw it at me. I spoke to the manager, he did nothing.

Bad bartenders! We had visited this bar for happy hour 3 times in three weeks,. The first visit was ok, bartender wasn’t overly attentive, but served us watered down drinks. Second time, bartender was personable, attentive, and efficient. Today both bartenders, new to us, were not engaged, almost rude, unattentive, didn’t offer happy hour menus, tossed our silverware at us after requesting it, never asked if we’d like to order anything, and never asked to refill our drinks! No excuse! They weren’t slammed with a busy bar, just had bad attitude! This is a seasonal, tourist town, get it right when you are in the business of making people feel welcomed!

Every time I come here we have an amazing meal and an amazing time! Our server, Bill was entertaining and knowledgeable about everything from the menu, to the local surroundings. They accommodated our kids very well and we ended up spending most of the day there. Highly recommend!

We were in Fort Myers Beach for a little more than a week. We had lunch here three times. The food won’t blow you away, but it is reasonable priced and it’s located right on the beach. It’s a very laid back atmosphere and the bar and restaurant are mingled together. The drinks are also tasty. During our visits, we tried oysters on the half(very large and tasty), Fried grouper sandwich(fresh and well prepared, lightly fried), chicken flatbread(ok, I don’t love flatbread), coconut shrimp(solid, not super), clam chowder(tasty, but not like in New England), key lime pie(well presented and tasty), and a few drinks. All were good. This is a good causal spot for lunch or really laid back dinner. There is Indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice. You won’t be blown away, but it’s a good value and decent food on the beach. I give 5 stars for location and friendly service, 3.5 stars for the food quality. Rounded off to 4 stars.

Unimpressive atmosphere, service was slow, food was mediocre at best and overpriced. Won’t be back! Go to Fresh Catch Bistro next door!

Food was ok. Portions were outlandishly large. The issue came when the food was served. The waitress grabbed the fish with her bare hand and put it on a family member’s plate. Raised the question of food preparation safety.

This is probably some of the best pizza I’ve ever had on the island other than Citrola’s over at Times Square. Great drinks, good place to watch sporting events, long and lengthy bar area, but best of all, views of some of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Also direct beach access right off the restaurant.

We came in with a large party(10) on a very busy night, and were seated within 15 minutes. The friendly staff did their best to help us out at all times(though we had to ask many times for forgotten items). The food was terrific. Appetizers we tried included the chicken wings(«very spicy» was perfect), and the calamari were very fresh. The entrees came out right on time and piping hot. The blackened grouper and stuffed shrimp were arguably the biggest winners. All in all, this place does a great job at the informal«beachy» joint where you go to have a good time in shorts and a T-shirt. Give them an «A» for effort.

Sat at the bar. Bartenders frazzled and focusing on certain customers, not interested in new business. Gm even took a walk through and was focused on nothing but collecting drawer money. No attention paid to customers. Menus online such as Google Unilocal etc are not up to date. Very disorganized. And I paid $ 4.50 for a corona extra. Highlighting the over priced menu for such crap service.

We always stop here when we come to ft Myers beach. One of our favorite spots to eat on the beach. It is what it is though; a laid back, comfortable bar/restaurant with good seafood. The oysters are good. The grouper sandwich is the best thing on the menu and my favorite on the island. The key lime pie is a winner too. I would recommend staying away from most of the other stuff. One of my go to lunch spots ! Try it

My family love this place. Great beach bar that you can walk into right off the beach. Great patio dining where you will have a beautiful view of the ocean and sunset. Service has always been good and serving sizes are great. The location is one of my favorites on Fort Myers Beach. Parking lot is shared with Fresh Catch Bistro and can fill quickly during season and weekend nights. Large patio with umbrellas over the table for perfect spot if you want out door dining lunch or dinner. The main dining room has wall windows that are opened up so you get the outside feel without having an outside table. We sat on the patio and let our 4 year old play in the sand while we waited for the food to come out. So he LOVED this restaurant. They have a large area of the sand roped off for restaurant customers to enjoy, perfect during the busy season sunsets. It seems to be a popular place for pizza, but we liked the seafood dinner we had here prior better than the pizza meal we had here this past weekend. The peel and eat shrimp is large and taste delicious when served warm with melted butter! Side salads are large and fresh. We ordered the meatlovers pizza. The pizza is large and will feed a family of four. The pizza was not short on meat and the flavoring was there but the pizza crust was just ok. I would not go back for pizza but will be back for drinks, seafood and the view!

Food is ok. We came on a Tuesday evening for half price pizzas(which is an awesome deal, but be careful! Flatbreads are NOT included). The pizza were all good, average pizza. You can make your own so you can’t go wrong! Nothing to complain about but nothing to write home about, as far as the food goes. Service was great! We had a large party, since we were there for a wedding rehearsal dinner, and the servers were very accommodating and prompt. Impressed! Location is great and right on the beach, however, the inside is pretty run down and dingy looking.

Blackened Grouper was amazing, 2 large slices for a kids pizza, & quality chicken in the chicken kids meal. Pina Colada & Mai Tai’s yummy. Great place to watch the sunset & listen to music. Happy hour too, lots of specials.

On the beach dining is a rarity in Naples and one has to drive Ft Myers to find it. On weekend road trip we found Junkanoos. With a Caribbean beach eatery feel we managed to get beach side seating. Interior and exterior are nothing that will wow you, you’ll be too busy people watching and looking for Dolphins to appear in the Gulf. Food is a combination of burgers, black grouper, and other seaside staples that you expect. A good sized drink menu with numerous wine selections is also available. We ordered blackened fish tacos and a chicken wrap. Generous portions greeted us that looked freshly made. The sweet potato fries were hand cut and nicely portioned. The fish was nice and crisp and had a nice salsa and sour cream side available. Only complaint was the flies that pestered us during our meal. Would come again.

Ducked in with the Maastricht Clan, the Sis, and Jakey Jake the happy boat dawg and was I glad I did! Here’s why: * Waterfront * Beachfront * Big * Bar and dining * Location, location, location * Plenty of parking * Best Pizza in Fort Myers! Beware of drunken, white-trash, bar-broads who try and walk off with your beloved Golden Retriever(Jake), see photo of Jake’s undeniable cuteness. Hurry in and visit. My street-network chatter tells me the place will soon be demolished and replaced with high-end homes. Awesome place, great pizza pie. Cabeza OUT!
