It’s really far from where we live but it was worth the trip down there. The food is good and healthy. The wedding area has a nice ambiance to it. We will probably be back over there.

Great lunch; great vegetables; delicious local honey; all sorts of meats and cheeses; and soups and other delights. This place is a GEM!

We just came from lunch. It is down to earth place, but food is amazing. My husband had New Orleans Fish and Shrimps and I had Chicken cordon blue. Both excellent Everything is fresh and yummy

It was ok. I’ve had good food there and not-so-good food there — it’s hit and miss. The fruit/veggie prices are high for what you get. There is a roadside stand nearby that has better quality and prices for produce.

I’m so impressed, I loved this place, the lady at the counter was fabulous, Stephanie explained the menu very well. We had the crab cakes, burger, and flat bread, desert was key lime pie, everything was fresh and cooked wonderfully. The price was great too, can’t wait to go back.

All the reviews were«Right On»! Extremely friendly staff and the food was outstanding. House salad and a Shrimp/Asian salad type Wrap couldn’t be beat. Everything was fresh and delicious. All you can drink Sweet Tea complemented the lunch. We strolled the outside garden and marveled at everything that was growing. Will try again with friends.

Awesome place. Not the traditional«farm stand» with lots local items besides just fruits & veggies. Good prices. Café on site. Outdoor restaurant with weekly specials. Staff friendly and knowledgeable about products. Special thanks to Brooke for her outstanding customer service and exceptional positive attitude. Kudos to having her out front. Nice area. Make sure to say hi to the tortoise.

I was so excited when I got to Buckingham Farms– the weather was cool sunny with a light breeze. The staff was exceptionally friendly and pleasant– the menu looked wonderful– so many unique choices– from fish to meatballs to bison burgers– I was having trouble deciding because my mouth was watering so much. Well this five star experience came to an abrupt end when I took my first bite. I ordered the pull pork sandwich– the bread was old– on the stale side, the pork– what little there was — was extremely dry. Very disappointed because I had such high hopes– maybe it was an off day for pulled pork sandwiches. So I decided to get a piece of key lime pie– another let down– when I was told that it was home made– even the crust — I thought I couldn’t go wrong– again old, pulled from the back of a cooler with no whipped cream. The slice was thin, bland and tasted like other items in the same fridge– I looked for an expiration date on the plastic container the slice came in but could not find one– I did not take more than one bite. I will be back simply because the place has such high ratings and my fellow Unilocalers are usually spot on– every body has a bad day and not every menu item meets a five star rating all the time. Advice– don’t order the pulled pork– for a $ 16.00 lunch I was expecting more–(tea and pie) should have went to Jason’s Deli. Also question when the pie was baked if opting for desert. On a five star note– the experience was unique — however– air conditioned seating is extremely limited so probably better during the cooler months– plenty of outside tables under cover.

This endeavor can be a little confusing, but it’s worth it. Here’s some instructions: First, enter in the front door. Where’s the restaurant? Well, it’s right here! Grab a menu from beside the counter when you first walk in. Place your order with the cashier-type person behind the counter. Then, you’re directed to the rear of the building to pick up your order. Yes, it’s served on disposable plates, but the food quality itself is stellar! You can look right back into the kitchen area to watch your food being put together. Something I found amazing: We were checked on by the cashier-type person. Anything we needed, he got for us. That was a super cool surprise. One of the things that sticks out in my mind were the biscuits and gravy. Probably the best I’ve ever had. It’s not a fine dining establishment by any means, but the quality of the food is better than most breakfast restaurants I’ve been to. Definitely coming back.

We just left the buckingham farm … OMGOMG… it was are first time there… we read all the Unilocal reviews and needed to check it out for ourselves… well readers… it’s all true… We were greeted by Stephanie, and what a great way to start out our dining experience… she told us all about the farm and proceeded to give us samples of many of their products… We were full even before we got our lunch… we couldn’t decide what to eat because everything on the menu sounds so delicious… we decided on panfried fish and the BLT flatbread… The freshest and best lunch ever… we can’t wait to come back and try there dinners on Friday and there breakfast on Saturday … We live in Naples but the drive is worth it… make sure to meet Stephanie… she was GREAT! P.s…there honey and cheese spreads which are all homemade are fabulous… we left with 3 full bags

Everything about this place is awesome. The general store, the food, the grounds, Booger. Just a relaxing place to sit and have breakfast. Love to see the Hydroponic farming that we’ve learned about in Disney. And to see the bees in action making their honey was great! We will be back!

Love the little store, great fresh produce, much of which is either grown there or locally. Love the varieties of honey also. Had lunch there once food was good, I had a Cuban sandwich was not super impressed, but wasn’t bad. Still hoping to try for dinner sometime soon.

Buckingham Farms is an amazing place. First, this is a hydroponic farm in Fort Myers. Hydroponic farming involves using minerals and water to grow plants. As I recalled I visited one of hydroponic farm inside Disney many years ago. Now I see this in a live production setting! The setting is country store like environment with fresh produce, vegetables, honey, beef sausage, wide hog sausage, bison sausage, eggs and a kitchen with number of tables both indoor and outdoor as well picnic tables under the trees. The staffs are super friendly. You can order the food and browsing around the store or take a quick tour of the Rustic Barn where you can host special events like wedding, reception and other social functions! I ordered the Tropical Island Pan Fish — a white fish topped with sweet chili sauce and fresh pineapple or salsa. Fresh and tasty! The sides are fresh vegetable medley with bean and a spice dirty rice with diced sausage. Great combination and enjoyed the lunch. Wife ordered a smoked pulled pork in a BBQ sauce served with a toasted hoagie roll. She selected Macaroni salad as a side. She loved the pulled sandwich! We almost order the Key Lime pie as the kitchen staff transport the Key Lime and Peanut Butter pies to refrigerator! We hesitated because we were too full! They have a Friday Night Dinner where they serve some specialty like Pork Osso Bucco and Crab Cakes. If you want fresh food in a casual setting, this is the place. We will return with friends as the season change then we will have different products. Without question, this is a Five Stars place! Highly recommended!

This place is just amazing, I live out here and never new such an amazing place was right down the road. Had an amazing lunch, picked up some bison and wild hog sausage. I will definitely be a regular, next week I plan on coming back for more(breakfast). Don’t for get to check out the barn in the back, looks like they have weddings, I can only imagine how beautiful it is at night. Don’t forget to check out the turtle, they let my son feed him, really a great experience, the staff made you feel like you were family, and the place is spotless. We’d definitely recommend a visit, they you’ll be hooked!

This place always amazes me! We live close so we go very often. Friday night dinners are so great! Cinnamon rolls in the morning. Sausage gravy and biscuits on Saturdays are some of the best I have ever had. I buy fresh bread, honey all my produce and it is all awesome! The staff are friendly and genuinely happy to help and answer questions. I would tell anyone to make the drive and visit them, you will not be disappointed! Make sure to come hungry!

Wonderful place to spend the afternoon. We had a great meal, got some fantastic produce from their market. Even meet the nicest and largest tortoise I’ve seen that close up. Even saw a couple wild woodpeckers. Adult and kid friendly.

I’m sorry. So so sorry… for never having eaten here til today. A coupon brought us here but love for Chef Jason and his perfectly cooked poached egg on my Benedict makes a gal swoon! There was great restraint by me for not licking the pale, yellow hollandaisacal goodness off my black plastic Chinet plate. My love got the sausage gravy with scratch drop biscuits and loved every bite. Coffee hot and black. Check. Unsweet tea fresh not leftover from the day before. Oh yeah, did I mention this is actually a farm market? Fresh eggs. Hydroponic vegetables and fruits. Plenty of parking.
