I really wouldn’t call this a park. More of a reserve. Trail was very limited and very muddy. The entrance was located at the end of a cul-de-sac, we hardly believed this was the entrance. No maps or real information was offered at the information sign. Luckily, we were able to pull up a map. The hike was unimpressive and buggy.

Little to see as trails are marshy and overgrown. With TLC, has potential but walking in my neighborhood or on the beach is more enjoyable.

It took an hour for us to find it. We kept getting lost with directions provided by Google maps. It’s definitely not popular as the trails were overgrown, not many benches for my son to sit down and rest as we walked through. We didn’t see much wild life the morning we walked around. It was disappointing. I was hoping for more given the two very positive reviews. I think the Audubon Sanctuary is better if you’re willing to drive further.

You would never expect to find a good hiking trail in the middle of Fort Myers, low and behold, here it is. Great easy hiking trail. In the Summer most of the trail is wet but in the dry months it is great.
