If I lived in Ft. Myer’s, I’d be by Fresh Bagels & More every other day. The homemade cream cheeses are fresh, light and fluffy, and in every way delicious. The honey walnut cream cheese did it for me. They also feature some bagels that are essentially amazing bagels made incredible. For example, do you enjoy an everything bagel from time to time? How about an everything + ASIAGO bagel? How about a JALAPENO everything bagel? Quite a bite to start the day! Like I said, if I lived in Ft. Myer’s I’d be a regular because Fresh Bagels & More is not just any«regular» bagel joint. Give it a try!

This place has yet to disappoint us. We were referred by a neighbor who also loves this place. Try the super cinnamon bagel!

Have to bump them up a star due to the simple fact that they constantly deliver quality sandwiches and bagels. Consistency is important

My husband and I live within a few miles of this bagel shop & we stop in for breakfast constantly. Their bagel breakfast sandwiches are top notch — we always get ham, egg, and cheese on their whole grain bagel. Delicious! They are always totally packed on Saturdays and Sunday’s but they keep the line moving quickly. Bottom line — an awesome breakfast for a minimal price. 5⁄5

I liked the variety of bagels offered, including some interesting exotics such as jalepeno and black pepper prosciutto, but I foumd the bagels to be quite underdone, on the smallish side and a bit denser and chewier than I would like. A true new york bagel has a golden brown exterior. All-in-all, I was happy to try some bagels from this spot in a strip mall on the way to Sanibel Island. There are a couple of tables outside. There’s a sushi place next door, Origami.

Fresh Bagels & More is a great locally owned bagel shop. On my drive to Sanibel Island my boyfriend and I made a stop to see what this modest shop had to offer. The shop is located in a strip mall and parking is plentiful. I was astounded by the selection of bagels offered at the store, including bagel concoctions I had never seen before. Where have you been able to get a rye or pumpernickel everything bagel in Florida let alone anywhere? There seemed to be many regulars at the store which I enjoyed seeing. I would consider a busy store the sign of a decent place. The bagels were boiled and they seemed to have been par cooked or at least not cooked as other bagels I have eaten. The exterior, while harder than the soft interior of the bagel was a bit dense and underdone as was my boyfriends opinion. My inclination is that so where the bagels are toasted they aren’t terribly dry. We ate all our bagels untoasted and they were enjoyed none-the-less however the second day after purchase they became quite hard unrefrigerated. The staff was helpful and friendly and diligent at moving people through the ordering /register line which was appreciated. One of the best I devoured was the pumpernickel everything bagel, despite the pumpernickel not being a strong flavor or color as I prefer a dark brown for pumpernickel. The jalapeño bagel was also good. I was curious to try their sandwiches although I did not purchase one. From what I saw in the case the house made salads looked great(tuna, etc.). There are tables to sit at to enjoy your meal with friend or family or if you are in a rush, the staff will get you out the door in a timely fashion. Get some bagels and enjoy!

Have tried this place 4 times over 3 years hoping each time we might get actual bagels. Each time, we have served the same pieces of flavorless, cardboard in the SHAPE of a bagel. There is nothing remotely resembling an actual bagel, and therefore they really need to change the name of the business, because right now, it’s false advertising. People who say they like this place because it serves«authentic NY bagels» obviously have never had a real bagel, they are probably from Ohio. Unfortunately, there is no place in Fort Myers that has good bagels. My New York transplanted family all agree, Stuff-A-Bagel in Cape Coral is the only place serving something remotely resembling a true bagel. This place serves fake bagels that tastes like cardboard.

Best bagels in Fort Myers! The cream cheese is a little strange, like liquid-y. But it may have just been a little melted, if you’re looking for a good New York style bagel definitely give this place a shot.

This is the real thing. Forget about those grocery store style places. Authentic, friendly, and priced right. Awesome food.

I’ll keep it short and sweet. Best sandwiches around. Local business and proud to support such a good establishment. Owner is funny and will make you laugh before you get your sandwich.

Great food! Bagels are the best I have had in the SOUTH, they are comparable with NY bagles. Family owned, with friendly service and high quality ingredients. Would have given them 4 stars, however they need to work on the décor and atmosphere.

I stopped by on my way from vet close by to pick up some bagels to go. They were out of poppy seed bagels so just sesame no big deal. Also ordered a croissant. When I got home the bagels were barely toasted and tasted like rubber. My croissant was probably from the day before because it wasn’t fresh at all. :(I was disappointed and definitely won’t be back. I wished I got my bagels from the place I normally go to, but was trying something new.

Visiting from out of state and saw the good reviews so stopped in. It’s a quaint little shop but have a nice selection of flavors. They even make their own flavored cream cheese. Asked a fellow patron about the options and she was very friendly with giving us a recommendation. Prices are great and employees were friendly.

Nice to have a non chain place for a bagel fix. Have been here a few times and they are pretty quick to serve at the counter. First time I went, got a dozen to go and the bagels weren’t all that fresh. This time I ordered a bagel sandwich and it was much better. Egg and cheese Sammie’s are only $ 2.95, gotta love that! Order taker/Sammie maker had no personality nor manners. Just an order taker. Wouldn’t hurt to say hello, please or thank you instead of, what do you want? Best for takeout as little ambiance or personality.

I am a bagel fiend and always look forward to eating here when I visit my dad. Usually he gets a half dozen or dozen for me to have at his place. The sandwiches that are made are always nice, but just a classic bagel/cream cheese combo is always enjoyable. They have any flavors and both the sweet and savory options are good. If I had to choose a favorite, I would probably say the jalepeño.

Best little bagel/sandwich shop in Fort Myers. The bagel selection is awesome and the meat and cheese for sandwiches are sliced fresh as you order. Always a line. Only open until 2.

They have an extensive selection of bagels to choose from, along with sandwiches. I had the Cuban sandwich, which was good but not as crispy as a really good cuban. My sister had sausage, egg, and cheese on a sundried tomato and basil bagel. It was also good. The menu is available for perusal while you’re at the deli counter, and seating is very limited. Other than that, the staff was efficient and very pleasant.

A lot of bagel choices and all are made in house. I ordered the hot pastrami sandwich but substituted the bread for the prosciutto and black pepper bagel. It reminded me of NY so it touched home for me. I can’t wait to try this place for breakfast or another bagel. Great deli!

Pretty good bagels. Although some mysteriously seem to have onions on them although they aren’t that type. We do, however, have a COUPONALERT: If you come in here with a coupon, as I did, that says«50% off» either one or two dozen bagels they will attempt to overcharge you. With the coupon, they will charge you $ 5.10 for the dozen bagels which is their price for ½ dozen. However, that is NOT50% off the price of a dozen bagels. When you point it out, they will say«We’ve been told to charge it that way,» but they will agree that the true price should be $ 3.98 and will then charge you that amount. I realize that this comment is a bit petty and smacks of looking a gift horse in the mouth, but once they decide to give out coupons, I think they should abide by the terms. Thus the downgrade… SAYLAVEE
