Place was packed. Servers were working their rears off. People were rude. Exceptionally rude. Your in Florida. In ft Myers. Relax. Food was amazing. Husband loved the crab soup. Burger was huge and so good. Great job. People(customers) relax. Enjoy. Great job servers. And chef.

Not too bad of a place but didn’t do much for me. Just your average hole in the wall sports bar with some interesting«characters» inside. They were open late on a Sunday night, which was a plus. If you’re just looking for a place to watch the game down town late at night, there’s worse options than this place. Bartender the night I was there was very friendly too.

I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised when we stopped in for lunch. They have a pretty good lunch selection for decent prices as well as a good happy hour draft special to go along. I had a Cuban and boyfriend had a buffalo chicken sandwich and both hit the spot. We plan on coming back in the evening since it seems like a good atmosphere to watch a game or hang out.

We’ve been here a couple of times, always in the afternoon and always it has been the same, just a few locals hanging out. This is a bar with good pours, good prices and friendly banter. I have no idea if they have food or not, which is fine with me cause I’m there to drink.

The Best Maryland style crabcake in southwest FL. Being transplants from Annapolis we’ve looked far and wide. Co-owner, Bryan hails from Crisfield, MD so knows the right way to make a crab cake — minimal filler and chunks of steamed crab meat. Cold draft beer, and a pleasant area to eat outside. Dog friendly, too.

Oh, The Hideaway. I’ve spent many a night inside, outside and thinking and dreaming about the hideaway. It’s a bar, yes. So sue me(or call me an alcoholic, whatever tickles your fancy). It’s a bar; a glorious bar that serves perfectly cold beer, excellent mixed drinks and apparently food(though i’ve never tried it). I don’t go for the sports, I go because they always have excellent musicians during art walk and music walk and because the bartenders remember my drink order. The bathrooms are small and there’s a coffeepot sitting out that i’ve never seen on before, but other than that, a gem.
