Saw there stuff at an art show and I love all of it. I felt part of a fantasy book, Alice in Wonderland meets Where the Wild Things Are. Awesome.

Wonderful Article from our Friends at The Florida Weekly. Part 1 Dolls What Fort Myers artists Jeff and Dale Ocasio do to them isn’t as much plastic surgery as it is reincarnation. The dolls — neglected, abandoned, thrown away — come to the Ocasios as one thing and are transformed into something totally different. Maybe they get crazy, spikey hair or pointy ears. Maybe their skin takes on a pale mint hue. Maybe they sprout antlers. Some end up with a whimsical appearance, such as the lady with big, daisy-like petals sprouting from her head. Then there’s the green Sí Monster that looks as if it just slid out of the swamp. And Spencer, a robot with oversized hands and one giant eye in the middle of his face. If aliens on other planets have children, it’s a good bet they carry around dolls like the ones born from the Ocasios’ somewhat warped and untamed imagination. Together for 30 years, they opened Ocasiocasa, their art gallery/studio, in downtown Fort Myers last summer. «We just wanted to share(our art),» says Dale. «We’re trying to build a fan base.» Reactions to their work vary. Thank you Florida Weekly
