Old Time Pottery

You never know what you’ll find at this place. Great place to slowly browse through. Lots of unique items and doo-​dads. Prices are cheap on most items. Definitely some great deals to be found here.

OMG. The new store in Bonita Springs has the rudest employees. I went in to buy a shower curtain. Huge sign that said all shower curtains on sale. The girl at the register was SO RUDE, it rang up the original price and she acted like it was my fault. She went back and got the sign that showed the mark down price. She said well I will let you have it for the sale price. Hello? When did it become her decision to honor the sale price? I asked for a manager and a man came up held his hand over his name tag and ignored me. I am going to return the shower curtain and NEVER BUY ANYTHING ELSE there. They need a real manager as I will so never buy anything else there.

Too much to choose from! Between the really neat wall decorations (This past visit proves summer is around the corner — Sandal décor is everywhere!), «vintage» posters (both «distressed metal» and low gloss color), it’s a new apartment buyer’s easy find. T
he back left corner of the store is rugs and carpets, but you really have to dig to find the size you need, as the label «isn’t true to size». Much like the clothes buyers at Grace Bros — «It rides up with wear». It must have taken a full hour to find a 5 foot by 7 foot rug for under the couch, as some were just a hair under, while others stated they were 6×7, the 5 footers were a hair over! Price ranges as much as the length and width.
Only issue in this shopping spree: When I stopped in, it was going on the fourth month of the new year, and the back half of the store is littered with Christmas swag. All over the shelves and and the floor, gifts and trinkets were marked down. Why was there so much winter festivus stuff still there and «on sale»? Because the signs on the racks said «All Christmas items are 50% off». In the end of March!!! There’s a reason the store was full to the brim with leftovers. At half price, no one is thinking about buying snowmen and Santas a week before Easter and expect to pay less than 70 per cent off. Hell, if anything was more than 60, that would have been awesome and there’d be nothing there.
Will I go back otherwise? I always tend to stop in when roaming the stores for ideas and price differences, so Old Time Pottery tends to be a stop on the list of things to do in the area.

Great store to browse as they have lots of varied items to explore. From furniture, rugs, cookware, artwork and more! And prices were reasonable on most things I perused.
Very similar to home goods but larger with more inventory. I picked up an area rug that was good quality for $ 47, which I thought was a great price. Only issue I had was asking employee if they had my rug of choice rolled up instead of under a mountain of heavy rugs. He offered no help, just shrugged shoulders and said nope. But I searched and finally found one that was accessible. Then saw a sign saying ask for assistance with rugs which was a joke!
But I am happy with my purchase and would come back for more.

Coming to this place is always like an adventure, and you will never know what u gonna explore here. Great place for those who loves decorating, baking, or DIY. Will recommend to all of my friends in the area.

Wow. A huge «warehouse» filled with household items. Inventory constantly rotates. Good place to keep coming back to if you’re looking for something specific for your house or decoration. Plenty of open stock dishes and glassware, pictures and mirrors, wrapping paper and gift items, and everything in between.
Prices are decent but I’ve seen items in there that I had also recently seen at HomeGoods for less price, so make sure you’ve done your homework.
Good sized parking lot. The lines inside for checkout are always long. Recommend not coming in the middle of the day on a weekend.

This is an enormous space filled with décor objects, furniture (including generally smaller chests, tables, chairs, accent pieces and even kitty condos; they just got in a large shipment of papsan chairs, but the price is not that spectacular), rugs, household goods, ceramics both for feeding people and for displaying plants, a full restaurant-​supply section with restaurant duraframe chairs and all the flatware/​chafing dishes/​servers/​china you might need, even the little slate «Specials» signs with a fat chef holding them up (!), and some soft goods as well (kitchen, bedroom, bath, and a few clothes and bags, in different locations in the store, even some bolt ends of cloth near the rugs in the back left corner), plus a seasonal decorating section (halfway back on the right-​hand side).
It’s cheap, usually, but sometimes not, so you have to already have an idea of what various things are worth before you head here.
I felt I had to review this place because we are buying a house in Fort Myers and three people have already directed me here for my upcoming decorating needs! Four if you count the fact that a local restaurant has an outdoor potted-​plant garden and happened to leave the «Old Time Pottery» price tags on some of their large ceramic planters… They have large ornate mirrors, for example, that a friend got for about $ 10 each to suitably furnish her ginormous-​walled rented golf course house with the 20-​foot ceilings. Can’t beat that with a stick. The house we are buying was renovated/​decorated by a professional designer, and one of the first things I encountered when I entered Old Time’s aircraft-​hangar-​like ambience was a décor wall plaque that I had admired in her house! It was about $ 5 on clearance. Looked great on her wall. So, for stuff like that, if you have a good eye and know the prices of things, definitely try here first. A final plus for me personally: there’s a Starbucks right in the corner of the parking lot :-)

Amazing place! You can find any kind of craft or lawn ornament you can imagine. This place is huge. Decent prices as well.
