A philly cheesesteak place in Ft. Myers? I had to try this place! Sadly, my stomach and wallet wish I hadn’t. I had to try what they were«famous» for… The Philly Cheesesteak! This is it? This sad little 8“ish hoagie with dried out«steak», hardly any onions and what’s that? Is that supposed to be the cheese? Looks like half a piece of Kraft partially melted on the bun. All this for $ 9! I should have walked down the Plaza to Publix and snagged a box of Philly Cheesesteak Hot Pockets. A coworker and I visited this place and between our two sandwiches, a half order of fries and onion rings… the bill was $ 34! Oh, forgot to mention, the ice tea rings at $ 2 a piece. With so many places to choose from in the area, do yourself and your wallet a favor and pass on this place.

Philly Junction, 4200 Summerlin Rd.,(between McDee’s and MaMa Earth), Ft. Myers, FL. Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat. I went here for a western omelette and to take home a cheese steak sandwich. I really like the omelette. plenty of ingredients and fluffy Also had home fries very tasty. I got a cheesesteak to go. When I opened the bag I was a bit disappointed. I did not see or taste so much of the onions/peppers. The cheese had been melted away. Which was sorta what I expected. I measured the sandwich. Diameter about 3 inches. The length 11 inches. It tasted fine. Not outstanding. Value wise… Nope… I was charged extra for peppers and such. Comparing other places price per price this is not a great bargain. BUT the omelette and the cheesesteak did taste good. I would recommend it but not high on my list. The service was fast and did a great job.

All I can say is STEAKBOMB. Fantastic sandwich, side of crispy onion rings(half order is plenty). Wish they were open Sunday’s for dinner. Have t had the breakfast special they advertise yet but sounds like a heckuva good deal. I’ll update you once I’ve had it

We got hungry after a round of golf, Cheesesteak was discussed. Wow, we have Philly Junction in Fort Myers that serve Cheesesteak and scrapple. As soon as you mention Cheesesteak, an image of Amoroso rolls, thinly sliced beef and cheese came to my mind. Geno’s Steak from Philly! Wait, there is more to Amoroso roll, it must be crusty on the outside, fluffy on the inside and strong enough to stand up a greasy hunk of meat and cheese! Well the beef must be lean and thinly sliced. It must be lean enough and not gristly. Spend more than 5 minutes to chew on each bite is a no-no. A little Cheese Whiz or a blend of provolone or mozzarella or perhaps a little American. We ordered the Cheesesteak and the Steak Bomb. What a treat. They were delicious and went down so fast we don’t have time to breathe! Next time we can try the scrapple!

Don’t do it for breakfast. Just go to McDonalds next door. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with Over medium eggs and they were well done. No buggy but I added home fries for 3 $. Look at the picture I posted. So for $ 8.37 I received two untoasted slices of cheap wheat bread, 2 over cooked eggs, venetians and cheese. Plus a pile of week old shavings of potato. Either the cook is lazy as hell or the owner should just stay shut down for breakfast. Garbage

Great secret. Been coming here for years. Craving CORNBEEF hash… so they made it to order. NO Mary Kitchen hash at this place. Clean bathrooms. Conveniently located. Great staff

Wanted a couple of sandwiches for lunch. The sandwiches where okay but expensive for what they were. Don’t think I would frequent this sandwich shop.

I got the Chicken Cheese Steak and it was delicious, fresh, and as far as I could tell authentic(though I’m not from Philly). The service left a little to be desired, however. The waitstaff was a little more interested in talking to each other then coming to ask what we’d like to drink. But still, great food.

New to the area and dying over the lack of great food choices. Philly Junction is an exception as the food was served, hot, fresh, and tasted great. Coming from Chicago, I had access to another place that also gets their product from Philly too. I’m quite happy that I found Philly Junction as I’ve tried other«Cheesesteaks» and they just don’t cut it due to lack of flavor, size, or know how. As long as I’m in Fort Myers, Philly Junction will be a regular spot for me. The food was delicious, the basket of fries was plentiful and fresh out of the fryer. The staff and owner were all super friendly and extremely helpful and great to talk to.

Stopped in for lunch. had the pizza Philly with green peppers, mushrooms & onion rings. Philly was really good besides the fact my roll was a little doggy but the taste made up for it! Service was decent, felt kind of rushed but she was attentive. waitress suggested the Reuben or pastrami. will be back to try

Had dinner here this evening. Good food. Nice little neighborhood place. Cheesesteak subs served on authentic Amoroso rolls! You can even purchase Amoroso rolls to take home for $ 1.50 each! They also serve Pennsylvania Dutch Birch Beer. Yummy!

I lived in Fort Myers for two years and Philly Junction is one of the only things I miss. The place is consistently delicious — the best philly cheese steak I have ever had, and the staff is very nice.

Loved it 15 years ago and still love it today. I always have to stop in when I’m in town. The bomb is my all time favorite it pretty much has everything on it. When u get it to go eat it fast because the bread can get soggy if it sits too long.

Very good cheesesteak. Someone complained because they got a salad, hot dog and BLT and it wasn’t very good. It’s called PHILLYJUNCTION for a reason. Philly isn’t known for salads, hot dogs or a BLT… it’s cheesesteaks!!! Try the cheesesteak wit onions… very good.

Wish we had a neighborhood place like this near me. Buddy suggested and he was right, he had a great cheesesteak and I had a great Supreme Italian Hoagie. Both on fresh rolls. Will stop again when in that hood.
