I have an infant, I’m a FTM. The babysitter texted me while I was at work to tell me that they baby has been very cranky today, and crying in pain because she’s teething. She had a low grade temperature, and wouldn’t eat much. So, I stopped by Publix on my way to pick her up. In the baby isle, they have regular children’s Oragel, baby homeopathic Oragel, Hyland’s teething tablets, and teething rings. Also, a choice of Tylenol or Ibuprofen. My pediatrician’s office was already closed for the day, and I needed some direction. I took all of these products to the pharmacy, and asked the girl at the register if she could ask the pharmacist what she recommends for the age of my baby for teething. The girl at the register was very nice, and asked the pharmacist for me. She comes back and says«I’m sorry, the pharmacist says she doesn’t know anything about any of these products». WTH? You are a PHARMACIST! You can’t look at the ingredients and give me some kind of idea? I usually go to a different pharmacy, where the pharmacist is always willing to give his/her suggestions. Even if they don’t know about the product, they will look at it and say«well, I am not familiar with this but…» and give me some idea. I felt like she just didn’t want to be bothered, and blew me off. I ended up buying all of the products because I had no idea what to get. I should have stuck to where I normally go, lesson learned. Won’t waste my time or money there again.

First of all — woo! First to review! Second of all — this place gets four stars because they’re incredibly well maintained, very clean, and not disorganized at all. Otherwise, looking at the actual products they sell, I’m not impressed. It’s like a very, very clean WINCO. Okay that doesn’t make sense because I’m trying to beat around the«Hi I’m a Californian snob» bush. So here’s the truth: if you’re looking for the non-processed, non-GMO products, you probably won’t find them here. BUT, if you do get them, you’ll feel nice and classy going to the store to buy them.
