Here is my 2 cents. I went back for the $ 16.95 all you can eat shrimp. 5 different flavors. I got fried, scampi and teriyaki. I loved the scampi, butter and garlic mmmm good. Teriyaki sweet and sticky. Fried cannot go wrong with fried. Plus easy to take home. Rolls are great. The only problem is if you eat a bunch you must keep ordering it and have the server run back and forth. So be nice and tip well. The salad was a bit skimpy. and you only got sour cream/butter with a bake potato. Then again you are there to pig out on the shrimp. Over all a pretty good deal. Service was good people fine.

Poor service Craving shrimp led us to Red Lobster. We did a call ahead at 7pm anticipating a rush. We were told to arrive in 30 minutes. Arrived at 7:39 and told it would be 15 minutes(hostess Amber was aware of my call ahead). We waited until 8pm and went back to inquire about our table. Told by the waitress that they have large parties and have to seat them. I noticed people after us arriving were given buzzers and I asked if we needed one and was told no. Waited some more. Even employee Shirley was helpful and kind asking us if we checked in. After 8:15 we asked to speak to a manager who was able to verify our 7pm call ahead and asked the hosting team why we weren’t seated. They had no response for her. Manager April acted very profesessionally with us and attempted to serve us immediately. However we declined because the look on the hostess face was not plesant and I didn’t feel comfortable eating there because who would know what could be done to our food. Alas we left empty bellied and no shrimp. :(

So many issues which tend to warrant 1 star ratings. For one, it took over an hour to get any food. Now I get, I ordered a custom shrimp nacho with chicken, but that doesn’t warrant an hour. If this was that major of an issue, they should have done what eventually occurred, and have the server request a new order. The issue was communication. FOH did not communicate with BOH, leading to both nachos and an alternate meal being provided. In addition, my housemates’ meals were cold. There was one saving grace, and that was the GM. Wade knew the flaws in the system and fixed everything post haste. This warrants a better review, and more paramount, a potential second chance in the near future. Will amend if that occurs.

The food is horrible here. Everything is badly deep fried or soaked in butter. The portions are small. The scallops were so tiny. We got the Admirals Feast that was clearly not prepared fresh. Looked microwaved. The presentation was just a spread out dish of deep fried looking sea creatures sliding around the plate. The Lobster Alfredo was bland and sticky. It looked like, and tasted like it was made with crafting glue. The prices were also outrageous. For seafood try the Clam Bake at Island Park or any Pinchers. Red Lobster is for the masses who don’t know what real seafood is. I didn’t want to go and shall not return. The staff was nice I will say.

I like Red Lobster more than 3 Fisherman, or Pincher’s Crab Shack. More predictable. Service is always good. I don’t know why other Unilocalers don’t rate it higher. #LobsterFest

I had a bad experience here last night, very bad service. I would give 0 star if I could I was so excited to show my bf red lobster for the first time he was here. We went to the bar, orderd chicken wings and lobster bake. Chicken wings were ok and missing cerely which was important to me, I asked the waitress, she went to kitchen got out a whole bunch of celery, cut them out and hold on her hands 4 stems of celery(no dish) and put on a napkin on the counter where I put the chickens bones, 1 of them not exactly on the napkin, ended up on the counter, she was like.” is it ok like this” :-). My boyfriend was very upset about the way we were served… We waited ad waited for 45 mins later, original waiter(Lucas) came in and said my order would be here shortly, I was about to leave. Then he came back a min later told me he didnt put my second meal in without a sorry and asked if I just wanted to pay for the chicken wings now… such a horrible service. I understand people makes mistakes, we all do! But this is just awful customer service. We just left without eating anything else. And will never come back.

The Cajun and I went for late lunch. We had Seaside Shrimp Trio. Yummmmm! Food arrived hot, and was delicious. We sat in the bar area, in a booth. We were able to discuss business privately. Our server was Rachel. She is attentive, kind, polite. Was a great experience!

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. My family and I went on a Sunday night because we didn’t want to cook and had the worst experience we’ve ever had dining in Ft. Myers. I could type a detailed explanation but here are the basic points: — Terrible service(i.e., rude staff, negligence, wrong orders) — Cold food — Long wait The only person who was accommodating was the manager on duty that night. She was very apologetic when they took our order wrong THREE times, we waited an hour for dinner and the server never refilled any of our drinks. The servers there are rude and do not care about their job. Everyone is running around doing who knows what — we had to wave down our server every single time we needed something. I understand you work at Red Lobster in Ft. Myers but you make your living off of tips and with that type of service — customers are never going to tip you because you’re not doing your job. Hopefully this review reaches someone that is actually in charge of this location and they improve their service.

This place was pure chaos. There was a 30 minute wait and a half empty restaurant, we opted to sit at the bar. The bartender was very nice, but the poor guy was running around like a chicken with his head cut off. He was running back and forth to the kitchen to pick up food all while making all the alcoholic drinks for everyone in the restaurant. The bar smelled like a mixture of wet rags and alcohol. Before our meal arrived we asked to be moved because we couldn’t stand the smell, it was another hour before our mediocre meal arrived. The managers just stood around instead of helping their staff that were clearly struggling. I didn’t expect alot from Red Lobster, but at this rate they won’t be in business much longer. Unfortunately, the delicious cheesy biscuits aren’t even enough to bring us back. Bye Felicia. :-o

I went to the Red Lobster in Fort Myers tonight to try the new menu. I had the roasted Maine lobster bake with corn and potatoes. Lots of lobster perfectly cooked. Great corn I’m not much for potatoes but they were nicely cooked The highlight was my server Tracey She’s actually the bartender but took care of me because everyone was so busy. Makes one feel special. Will be going back soon !!

If no star was an option Id do it. This was the worst service EVER. Weren’t greeted for 15 minutes until we asked for a manager who then said she would be our server and she was just as awful. It was truly a nightmare.

HELP!!! Went here tonight and had the WORST service and dining experience at this restaurant. Waited approx. 25mins. to be seated, no big deal as I’m patient. Secondly, it took approx. 30mins. to get my salad.(which by the way was INCORRECT!). The waitress told us 3-times that our meal was on its way out. She accepted the«blame» as a mistake on her part. However, she made NOEFFORT to bring the ENTREES out. So, me & my dining partner simply said; «we’ve had enough» and simply had to leave the restaurant. WITHOUT having dinner! We will NEVER go back here EVER again This restaurant has TOO many young & inexperienced wait staff & front desk help. Where’s the management?! I recommend that you find ANOTHER seafood place to go to than this restaurant, as you WILLBE highly disappointed in BOTH the food & service. NOT worth the headache and your hard-earned dollars. STAYAWAY!!!

CHAOTICINCOMPETENCE I was the first to review this restaurant 4 ½ years ago, and although we haven’t been back since, I have always had a positive feeling about the place. Today we thought we’d give it a go and see if it was still an okay place. It was a Sunday, and they open at 11 am. We showed up at 11:50 looking forward to a meal. For starters the entry way smelled fishy. Not cool. The young lady that seats people asked for a name and gave us one of those buzzers chain restaurants like to use. This is low season and there were not many cars in the parking lot, so I asked her what the problem was. She said they were waiting for servers to arrive. We waited for 15 minutes with no further explanation although 3 servers entered and another 8 were milling around. Our buzzer never buzzed. We figured if they were this impersonal and incompetent, the food couldn’t be much better, so we left. The young lady expressed no regret or concern at the loss of business.

My wife and I decided to come here on a lark, mainly because we had fond memories of the cheddar biscuits. We were, to put it mildly, pleasantly surprised as a result. Service was quite excellent, beyond what we’d expected. I asked for a special that was on the menu until last week, and the waitress told me it was available, despite being off-menu now. So I ordered a pot pie and a skewer of shrimp. When my salad was delivered(Caesar, and it was a little salty, which we put down to having more anchovies in the dressing than I was used to), the waitress indicated that the pot pie was sold out. OK, no worries, I changed my order to 2 skewers of shrimp, and all was good. Later on, around the 3-bite check, she tells me that they found a couple of pot pies in the freezer(it’s a chain; almost everything is pre-prepped offsite. We expected that.), and the manager would be sending one out for me gratis. Lo and behold, dessert was delivered with a pot pie, and a to-go box. Guess what’s on my plate for dinner tonight? This was a great example of having a problem with a meal, handling it well, and making a customer happy as a result. I feel that they really did go above and beyond; it would have been very, very easy to just say«sorry, we don’t have it,» and move on, but they didn’t. For the record, our meal(a soup and salad for my wife, a kid’s meal — very tasty seasoned broiled tilapia and broccoli — and my 4-course combo with salad, soup, entrée, and dessert, plus drinks) was $ 35 before tip. Not a bad value at all! The restaurant itself is decorated in kind of a generic«New England nautical» theme, with framed signal flags and boat models covering the greywashed beadboard walls. It almost does the trick, until you look out the windows and see a Florida parking lot. Oh, and the cheddar biscuits? Delicious. Probably terribly unhealthy, but delicious.

Yah, I’m a seafood lover, and their lobster tastes extremely fresh… Try their peach sweetened iced tea while you pay a visit there…
