A group of 9 of us called «Taxi Tim» for two vans to pick us up the following morning to get us from Bonita Springs to Ft. Myers Beach (25 minute drive) in order to catch the Key West Express boat down to Key West for the weekend. By our pickup time of 7:15am there was no sign of either van and «Taxi Tim’s» phone would ring out to voicemail (I tried calling at least 20 times between 7:15 — 7:30am and left several voicemails). Last call to board the ship is 8am and there are no other trips down until the following day so we of course were panicked.
Luckily the greatest cab driver in the world from another company bailed us out by getting to Bonita in less than 10 minutes, piling us all in his van, and speeding us all the way to Ft. Myers Beach where we barely caught the ship.
Bottom line, Taxi Tim is a joke and the driver that did get us there just shook his head when we told him who it was that left us high and dry.
Never even got a returned phone call to apologize later in the day or the next day… the guy just simply said forget it and moved on.
Don’t let this guy ruin your vacation or worse make you miss a flight. Not worth it. Plenty of other reliable cab services in the area.
