The store is clean and well organized. That’s where the two stars are coming from.
The staff must be pressured, not sure why… we are talking about plastic cups here folks. I mean they are the BEST cups ever but, it’s a cup. I think they are pressured to sell up or something because it’s all good in there until you step up to the checkout register. They get all nuts-​o asking you if you buy this, you save, if you buy that, you save, blah blah blah, all the while you got exactly what you came for and are ready to go. They go on and on and don’t ring your stuff up. Basically you have to make a loud announcement that your ready to leave now in order to get the ball rolling and item (s) scanning! Ugh! Oh, and forget it, if you hand over a coupon, which I’m a major fan of! The interrogation begins. Where did you get this? They even try telling you it’s expired! When it doesn’t clearly expire for more than a year, and you literally got it in the mail, inside the catalogue, inside the box, that your custom tervis cup arrived in yesterday!!!
It’s a mostly dumb looks that I’m giving in that store. Almost to unreal! Hilarious after you leave though.

The only reason anyone (in my opinion) would spend 12.99-$ 29.99 (or more) for a single plastic cup is the Tervis Guarantee for life. However, it’s not really as I found out yesterday. I live in Florida. I bought at the Osprey store. I had a defective cracked cup within months and brought it back to the same store and they very nicely let me choose another one like it. I bought more while in there (just like shoppers normally do — hence why Nordstrom never questions returns because it usually leads to more sales). The second set of purchases came with 3 defective cups. The first one after dishwasher washing it the first time has this huge gray run on it. The second took longer as it was my gym 24oz water bottle which leaked and was cracking at the top seam. The third also took about 9 months to crack where the entire top layer came undone from the inner seal. I waited to take them back since I live 45 minutes from the store and waited till I was already in the neighborhood (which was yesterday).Much to my surprise the return policy has changed. You have to fill out a form and put the cups in a bag to return them and IF they decide they want to guarantee your cups, they will send you new ones in 4 – 6 weeks. I have many friends with Tervis cups and each one has at least one with a defect. So they aren’t that great at holding up and now Tervis has made it even harder to return them. So what’s the point of buying a guaranteed for life cup then if it’s too hard to return and very likely you will have a defect in your group of cups? If I mailed it, I would have had to pay the shipping charges. It’s not my fault these cups are defective, but I can tell you that the woman in the store helping me fill out the form told me I should have returned the first one the very next day after I washed it to prove it was defective. Oh so now I have to PROVE it? I told her it really is too hard to drive 45 minutes there (and back) for one plastic cup to be returned. I sort of got the feeling Tervis had pride in their workmanship and guaranteed them for life per the marketing. It made me think you cared about your customers. I was told if I have a defective cup and are in the store, I can get a 15% off full price purchase. Tervis — do a better job at making your cups and remember that the more you make it harder for people to return them when defective, the less customer base you will have unless you lower your prices to the $ 2-​$ 8 cups that we expect to break and throw away. Choice is yours. In my opinion again, I think you’d do better to do right by your customers. I will continue to buy Tervis if you make it honor your guarantee and make it easier for returns — NOT like what you have done in the past year to your customers. It’s plain wrong and you know it. If you had so many returns that you lost money on the amount of returns, you are focused on the wrong problem.

We love this Tervis Tumblr Co store location. We vacation at Ft Myers Beach every summer and every summer we make our annual trip to this location. This year we did have to exchange one of our cups. The exchange policy has changed, however we received the exceptional service from this location that we have come to expect. To exchange, it was quite simple. We returned the cup to this location, picked out a mug we wanted as a replacement. The cup of our choice is being mailed to our home at no additional cost to us. This is the policy at all Tervis stores now.
In regards to selections, I found this store to have a very wide selection. Sports teams, Salt Life, Margaritaville, Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, Britto, Florida lifestyle and so much more. There truly is a Tervis for everyone. Don’t see what you want? No problem, the associates can help you design and order a Tervis too.
Can’t wait to return in 2016 to pick out my next Tervis!

My Fort Myers Miracle (local minor league baseball team) 32 oz became cloudy and faded. I was told it now had to be shipped to the factory (at my expense). I explicitly indicated I wanted it back if the warrantee couldn’t be honored. Several weeks later I received a plain palm tree tumbler as a replacement. I called and they explained the FM Miracle Tervis logo was discontinued. I asked for mine back, I wanted the old faded one instead of a palm tree. they said they had disposed of it… really?
No worries — I was able to find a new one at the store. But it was 16oz, not 32. Tervis said they could build the logo into a 32oz if I sent palm tree and the new 16 oz one to them, which I did. Never saw either again, Tervis said they never received it… again, really??? The two cups apparently got lost somewhere (?!)
If I knew they were going to be so incompetent at their factory, I would have kept my faded 32 oz, or definitely kept the new 16oz. I should have learned when they ignored my request to send the original one back to me. For the life of me, I cannot find another of these Minor League tumblers for my team anywhere.
Two stars for the fact that their customer service team was as helpful as they could have been, pleasant, and sympathetic; and because they eventually replaced my two lost tumblers with a 32oz Major League logo one (which apparently they’re not supposed to do). But, I remain disappointed because all of the wasted time and money may have been avoided if they had not changed their exchange policy.

Tervis Tumbler is making a mistake by changing their exchange policy. Granted, the cups, mugs, ice buckets, etc. are a great product, but on occasion, they do crack or break. I’ve had the occasion to return, but now instead of exchanging in a store or outlet while in FL, I must pay shipping, send it to the address, and wait for it to come back. I wouldn’t mind that either, except I pay a PREMIUM price for these and have come to know good customer service and guarantee. Currently this is NOT good customer service, not worth packaging them up, taking to the post office, paying shipping, waiting for the return, and NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

I have also been turned away when trying to exchange a cracked cup. Their new policy of MAILING in cups for replacement is upsetting since I live so very close to the store and factory. I was a faithful customer buying cups for myself as well as gifts regularly. Time to find another local store to support instead!

Be aware… Tervis is now very BIG BUSINESS…“corporate” and no longer customer friendly. For those of use who have supported our local company since they opened in Osprey, we can no longer stop in as we drive by on 41, and replace our defective/​damaged Tervis products. I even took my form, provided at the store, with my cracked cup, to the local factory, since I live within 2 miles of the store and the factory. I was told to mail the cup and the form to the factory!!! Can’t imagine why I would want to MAIL my cup, of replacement, and WAIT 4 – 6 WEEKS, when I pass the store every day, and I was standing at the factory office, when I was told to mail it. Disgusting new policy that is totally ridiculous for the formerly loyal customers who live in Osprey, Nokomis, Venice area!!!
No more TERVIS for me. No advantage any more.

Stopped in today to replace a tervis that had been dropped on concrete a few too many times. They were super helpful and gave me a receipt with a store credit so I could look around and decide what I wanted. They have a ridiculously huge collection with a design for everyone (even if you’re like me and already have a million of them). I’ll definitely be back for more!

This review is for the actual Tervis Tumbler store on S. Cleveland and NOT the actual Tervis tumblers (which, BTW, there are not enough stars on the rating scale for a Tervis tumbler).
I found this store to be small and lacking a wide variety of designs. There are a lot of Professional sports teams, college logos, and brand names. Not as much in the Florida lifestyle, overall interests. A good number of the smaller tumblers for kids and a decent selection on Super Heroes.
The store hours are not really convenient either. 10am-​5pm Monday through Saturday and 11am-​4pm on Sunday.
Shop online for unlimited selection and no closing hours or go to a local Beall’s store for a greater selection, especially if you’re looking for Florida and outdoor life motifs. The prices are the same.
Tervis Tumbler is on the side of the strip mall, plenty of parking.

I had an issue with my Tervis 16oz mug and since I live in Atlanta there are no Tervis factory stores. When I was in Fort Myers I went to the factory store and they swapped it out… no questions at all. Great product and the company stands behind it.
The retail store has a HUGE selection. I know you can order off the web but if you have an opportunity to visit a brick and mortar retail store, go and look around. These are great cups!

Tervis Tumbler is an excellent company who stays true to their Lifetime Guarantee. My neighbors, who spend have of the year in Florida, always return to NY with brand new Tervis Tumbler insulated cups for my family. The cups themselves are fantastic– keeping my beverage cold and my furniture free from condensation.
After several years (ranging from 3 – 7) some of the cup seals began to give. I contacted Tervis and they advised me to ship them the cups and they would replace them free of charge! Our cabinets are constantly populated by an array of Tervis cups and they are replaced when damaged.
Great company — great reputation — great product!

NO STARS!!! I’ve had 2 Tervis tumblers fail and tried to get Tervis to honor their guarantee. They were rude, exasperated, and suspicious. Both times, they demanded that I mail them their defective product (at my expense) before they would honor their «Lifetime Guarantee» and mail replacements. They refused to reimburse my cost of shipping their cheap plastic glasses back to them. I have sent this letter to everyone on my mailing list, asking them not to burden me with more cheap Tervis crap. Beware of anything Tervis!

I have had Tervis Tumblers for years. They are guaranteed for life. I have taken back my 15 year old tumblers (or were they 20) and they give you a store credit for the new retail value. You don’t have to purchase the same design or style.
