It is hard where I live to find a great bakery. I am so glad I discovered the Bagel Factory on the way home from a VA appointment! The staff is completely friendly, food is so fresh, and there is so much variety from head to toe. Their fresh and clean atmosphere make all the toasty smells even more tempting to purchase a «Baker’s Dozen,» and walk away feeling like you know you ate/bought high quality food. They have various mixtures of possible sandwiches on any type of bagel(toasted or plain) imaginable. I am a huge fan of their onion bagels with big pieces of savory, smoky smelling, diced onions, engulfing the bagel just enough to taste all the flavor. I am sure their cream cheeses are out of this world as they are homemade and vary from fresh strawberry to lox(smoked salmon) flavor. I happen to be a big fan of unsweet iced tea, and they have a floral and tropical tea to die for. I appreciate their menu as a foodie and I love places that offer swiss and pepper jack as an option to your breakfast sandwich. My only complaint is there’s ham and no bacon options, but the light and fluffy folded fresh egg with sharp cheddar made up for the lack of bacon option, as they carve all their meats fresh. This should be called more than just a Bagel Factory, it is definitely a specialty deli and I’ll be back again sometime!

BEST bagel place in Fort Myers! They have such a variety of bagels, and toppings. Their egg salad is delicious. Get there early though because they sell out of their popular bagels very quick!

Cheap and quick spot to grab breakfast. I’m not a fan of the lunch though. The jalepeno bagel is my favorite! Great way to kickstart my day or workout. Coffee is just ok. Service is always speedy and friendly. It can get busy duty peak time in the peak season. And if you are trying to turn left out of the lot on McGregor-good luck in the mornings!

While the staff boasted that they were from up north and knew how to do bagels right, they just weren’t that great. They were decent for a FL bagel. I’ve had worse. Something in the FL water seems to make bagels and pizza not so great. I found the bagels to be a bit on the doughy side, almost more like a bread than a bagel dough. They weren’t horrible though, and I may go back in the future.

Great selection of bangles for Fort Myers. Get in early, they run out quickly. Good service, friendly staff. Casual atmospheres, can wear your pajama’s out, décor could use an uplift.

Finding it isn’t hard. Parking isn’t bad at all went here today at 1030am. Wasn’t slammed as i intended it to be. Definitely A place of the older crowd, nothing wrong with that it’s actually peaceful — I like(: the girl who helped us today provided fantastic customer service. TIP: When you walk in and order DONT do what we did and order at the register. Again don’t order at the register. Wait at the counter where there isn’t one or infront of the case filled with bagels, they take your order first then you go to far right where the register is and pay. So as far as seating, you can dine in and DONT have to tip. Just CLEANUPAFTER yourself don’t be that guy. So the food was good! I didn’t say great. That’s why I’m giving it a 4 star. It comes off a homey place inside. Cozy, though it really should have love seats & like a nice newspaper lounging area. There’s just lots of wooden chairs. I guess I’m giving consideration to the older folk who eat here. I got a bacon-egg-cheese– on a combo bagel(which is what they call an EVERYRHING bagel) it was good. My fiancé got some. Idk sandwich with pastrami, turkey(I think) cheese and mayo I have no idea but he liked it. We got a total of 3 drinks(1 fountain, 1 cooler, 1 coffee), 2 bagel sandwiches for $ 21(via receipt picture) Would I come back? Yea but it’s not the first place I’d want to go in the morning. I guess this is one of those places that is more once every couple months as oppose to a couple times a week. I’d be poorer than I already am if I had to buy my breakfast here every day/other day. Loud? No, light music playing. Wifi? Unsure Kid friendly? Like anywhere else; if you watch them. Cash only? No, pretty sure you can pay almost any way. I used VISA. Idk about a check though. It’s worth checking out, if you have some extra cash and want to try something new. Not priority. Excellent customer service. Clean place. Food was out pretty quick. I think I’ve said all I could. *sorry the vid seems to be blurry on here I swear it wasn’t when I uploaded it. Don’t know why it looks like that… ”

I have never been to this particular location of the Bagel Factory. I believe Unilocal reviews are also based on communications whether being on the phone, email, web, or even person to person outside the establishment. WOW. if I had to rate this bagel place on the type of bagels they offered FIVE stars are not nearly enough. I am highly impressed. I love the variety of bagel flavors that they offer to their customers. I am in awe by just looking at the menu. Chocolate Chip, Apple Cinnamon, Hawaiian, etc. etc. etc. Their prices are reasonable for most things. I also love their«computer» website. The way that everything is laid out makes it very easy to navigate. Then the pictures of the food… Everything looks delicious… I am a very picky eater, but this place seems like it totally ROCKS. However I mentioned that I love their«computer» website. Today I admit that I made a MAJOR error. I was craving a bagel and there is a Bagel Factory near me. When I looked up the Bagel Factory on my cell phone, I thought that I was emailing a corporate office especially since this location was the top link(or very close to being the top link.) After receiving an email, I realized this Florida’s location was not part of any corporation. What caught my eye was the awesome various flavors that the Bagel Factory had to offered. I was just at the Bagel Factory(in Pittsburgh) a couple of weeks ago. I knew that this particular location did not have this variety of bagels. Again, being that my phone did not display everything — I emailed the link. I appreciate the immediate replies back even though I don’t know how to really take them. I emailed«Why doesn’t your store on Forbes and Craig in Oakland(Pittsburgh) offer these awesome flavors. They only have the basics». The person replied back «Well, if you simply visited the store that you e-mailed, surely you would figure it out. Start by looking at the website that you first clicked onto.» Then I get another email after I replied stating that : «Look, you are not very bright. Look at the website. Does it say PA? No it does not. You are not alone. Too many people in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia do not take the time to read before they write. Perhaps you need to thaw out and visit us down South.» Well I felt so bad that I seemed to have upset him. I was still unaware that this place was not part of the corporate chain, I wanted to write to the corporate office of The Bagel Factory and compliment a employee here in Pittsburgh, plus mention this person’s(Fort Myers) great menu. I emailed me and got an email that began with: «McFly, you are corresponding with the main office» Then the email went on talking about the«rocket science» management in this area. When I called the store to speak to the manager about these emails a very sweet and professional lady answered the phone. I just asked to speak to the manager(not by name). She asked if she could assist me with anything I told her no, and just the kindness and friendliness in her is an A+.

We really liked the bagels here, but they put way too much cream cheese on the bagel. Other than that it is at the top of all of the bagel places I have went to.

My favorite is the spinach Parmesan bagel, toasted. Add cream cheese, onion and tomato. The cheese gets melty and the flavors pop wonderfully.

It’s OK but a little pricier than the other bagel places nearby. They only offer one non-flavored coffee and it’s not a bold brew like other places. It was pretty bland. The one area of concern that I noted was that the person manning the cash register also helped with bagel preparation without using gloves to handle the bagel. I’m pretty sure that’s not allowed from a public health safety standpoint so greater care should be taken to see that it does not happen again. I found it very off-putting since I am in health care. For that reason, I would give it a 2.5 star rating, if they had one on Unilocal

This was my first job at 14 years old. It’s great stopping in on my way to work 16 years later for bagels I will never get sick of eating. Plus, I see the same customers in there from when I worked there. The owners keep the place super clean and only buy quality ingredients. I lived in Pittsburgh for 3 years and couldn’t find a bagel as good as their in Squirrel Hill(Jewish Deli) section. They are a little piece of home I missed. 27 flavors all the time and awesome bialeys. They are the only place in town that makes dough fresh everyday and boils the bagels before going in the oven.

I have been eating at The bagel factory for 9 years. I come from New York so I know what a real bagel is. These are the best in town by far. The staff is friendly and the service is speedy. The only thing I wish they would do is make the coffee stronger. There is a fair amount of sitting and if you want to read the local paper, there is always a copy or two available.

Went to this place based on Unilocal reviews. I’m guessing no one else who reviewed has ever had a true Philly bagel.

A little skimpy on the portion size. A little pricey compared to local competitor.

They have such an array of bagels and bagel meals here. The coffee is alright, but the bagels are better. The Hawaiian has got to be one of my favourites. Just toasted, nothing on it, is as good as toasted with plain cream cheese. Jalepeno has the kick you need and with veggie cream cheese, you don’t realise you’re eating a hot pepper in bread. The egg and cheese is good, but the Huevo Ranchero is better, albeit a bit messy due to the salsa. Always looking to go back.

The bagels are the best we have had in Fort Myers. They are so fresh and even the next day are just as tasty. The variety makes it hard to select just one. So we always end up with extra to take home. I have not had any of the sandwiches but they look delicious. I plan to try them when we return to Fort Myers. We did have a problem on our last visit with a staff member not being courteous when asked to put some everything bagels in a separate bag but the owner was very quick to handle the situation. We were glad we were not turned off by this employee’s action and gave them another try because I love this store.

Had to get a baker’s dozen. 5 stars for their impressive variety of fresh home-made bagels! 27 I believe? So far I’ve tried their blueberry and jalapeño bagels and both were palate pleasers. And so’s that veggie cream cheese!

It is the best place to get bagels in Southwest Florida. I grab a ‘baker’s dozen’ about every two weeks. Very good bagels. Criticism: 1. The flavor of the bagels do not always taste like the flavors they portray to be, like blueberry and french toast– more plain than anything. 2. Cream cheese, although very good, is $ 4 and is never enough for the whole dozen; that’s how they get you! 3. I was upset to know that after my 4th trip to buy a dozen, I was finally awarded with ‘dozen-dozen’ punch card. Ask for one. The criticism above, I can look past; the main reason why it’s a 4 rather than a 5, the girl at the counter was extremely snoody and showed her lack of patience with me because I like a variety of bagels, and took time deciding.
