The only place I buy beer when I’m in town. They have a vast selection of craft beers, could drink a different craft beer everyday and still not have tried them all in a year.

Great selection, and since it is in Georgia they can do growler fills of high gravity beers. That won’t change in Tennessee until 2016. Love that they stock brewing supplies and they generally have excellent prices.

I’m not a beer snob but I may be from now on thanks to this place! The staff is super friendly and helped guide me to make some great selections. They not only have a big beer selection but they have a big wine selection also! This will definitely always be on my list for stops while visiting Chattanooga!

Easily the best craft beer destination in Northwest Georgia. Knowing I was going to be in the Fort Oglethorpe area for the weekend I searched for cool places to check out. I’m 100% happy I stopped here. This place has a killer growler station offering a wide variety of craft beers which are apparently rotated out often. They come in 32 and 64 ounce growlers. The 32 ounce size seemed to start around the $ 8 mark and went up from there. Their selection of bottled craft beer both cold and not, was phenomaninal. I’ve never seen so many beers in such a small store. They even had a separate temperature control cabinet for a selection of aged beers, which included several imperial stouts, old ales, barley wines etc from as far back as 2010. The staff were all very nice, knowledgeable, and inviting. The man working at the growler station explained everything for us and was also very nice. I got a 32 ounce each of Southern Tier Pumpking and Terrapin Wake and Bake. They were definitely fresh and tasted amazing. If you happen to be in the Fort Oglethorpe area and you love craft beer, this is an absolute must-visit.

This place is the best place for getting beer that I have seen on the east coast. Words can’t describe how much different beer there is to choose from. bunches of beer for sale by «tap» that they rotate and they offer cheap to expensive growlers for you to get the beer in. The guys running the place are super beer knowledgeable so be sure to talk with them if you have any questions or want any suggestions. This place had 2 issues. Their location is tucked way back in the corner of a dark shopping center so unless you are taken there like my friend took me you won’t notice it from the street.. the other issue is I am out of town and the place needs to relocate to my town.

Beverage World is hidden away in an unseen corner of a desolate strip center anchored by Big Lots and Food Lion in the thriving metropolis of Fort Oglethorpe. You would have no idea of the delights awaiting a beer lover based on the exterior setting. Come on in and prepare to be astounded at what you find. The store offers a top notch selection of craft beers along with friendly service by a knowledgeable staff. The real reason to seek this spot out is the recently added growler station. Twenty count ‘em twenty taps offering a rotating cast of well selected micro-brews(and Bud Light) for your drinking pleasure. Bring your own growler or purchase one for a pittance and be on your way home with something special in just a few minutes. The selection here compares VERY favorably with the growler stores in that major metropolitan area a hundred miles south. I urge all craft beer fans in the area to check out Beverage World. It is well worth the trip. Mitul, Sam, and the rest of the crew will take very good care of you. Now if only the city would revisit that Sunday sales issue.
