Great, quaint restaurant. Had the daily special French dip which was excellent and a cup of fire roasted vegetable soup, also delicious. Could have sipped on their sweet tea all day. Overall great food and atmosphere.

Enjoyed! Nice small rustic place, Attached to a antique store. Lots to see. We had appetizers, loved the tomato pie. Staff was very friendly and prices were reasonable. Would love to go back and try there other dishes. Directions from this site are wrong, but it’s only back 4 blocks.

We saw Unilocal reviews praising this spot. We went and found they weren’t wrong. This please is not to be missed. The Muffulettas were great. Potato salad was best I’ve had in a very long time. The best was the suggestion to try the Truck Stop Honey beer. That shit is liquid cocaine. Go there!!!

Wanted to try this place as it looked charming when we were here on our honeymoon. Over a year later on the way back to Chattanooga, we finally went, because of so many good reviews. Without a doubt it exceeded my expectations and then some! It’s got a fun rustic ambiance with lighted patio. It looked sorta grungy, quiet, and we were greeted with«dinner?» By some guy behind the bar-immediately my expectations were lowered. Not busy on a Saturday night and clear disposable cups made me worry this wouldn’t be worth the $ 17 prices I was seeing on the menu. My husband and I both got burgers and I began to expect made from frozen quality. The burgers liked kinda odd when they came out too. Boy was I wrong! Both burgers were DELICIOUS. and I’m not usually much of a burger person. Great combination of flavors in the sauce and onions. He got chips and I got sweet potato fries – some of the BEST I’ve ever had, and his were really and truly fresh, homemade chips. Not something you see often! The live music was a little loud/not my style, but still gave this a fun, eclectic and divey feel. The burgers were the best priced items there, I feel that the other entrees and apps seemed too expensive, but now knowing how good their food is, is give em a try too. Sticky tablecloths and very slightly inattentive service keep this from 5 stars(I know, I know, I’m too harsh). Seriously though, this place is good! Would recommend to anyone and wish we could’ve sit in the romantic patio, but it was kind of wet that day. Oh, and they have the most AMAZING event space in the back, too!

Loved the ambiance of this place. There were 10 of us and we walked into what seemed like a little bar but they quickly responded to us and seated us out in the courtyard and it was like a private party for our family. Very accomodating. Service and ambiance was 5 star. Our waiter, Brandon I think, was incredible. We bribed him to bring my mother her birthday dessert without a shirt on and it was the crowning event of the evening! Food was good but menus a little lacking for kids. They added chicken to the cheese quesadilla’s for the kids so it all worked out. A+ for effort. Definitley going back

First of all, the directions on Unilocal are WRONG. It takes you to a church. We called the restaurant and after being on hold for 10 mins we stopped and asked for directions. Atmosphere: cramped, dark… Live music is nice. But I literally could not see my menu or food once it came. Entrée’s: vintage burger, hubby and son had it and loved it. Black and blue burger: good burger but meat was a little dry Shrimp and grits: HUGE let down. I had read on Unilocal how good they were. I was excited. It was cold. And I couldn’t really get past that. Inedible. They DONOT have a kids menu at night, so my 3 little ordered the quesadilla’s. The salsa was yummy but not enough cheese in it at all. So you’re kinda paying for a tortilla and yummy salsa. Overall, the staff was super friendly which kinda made up for the mediocre food. They checked on us several times, our glasses were never empty and she took the icky shrimp and grits off my ticket. Also… Regarding atmosphere, we stopped by the bathroom before hitting the road again… I’m all for«vintage»… But you could barely close the stall doors and it just seemed dirty. I’m torn on how many stars to give them. Customer service, once your in the building is def a 5… But the other stuff that matters… What you’re paying for. More like a 1 or 2 because of the sweet potato fries and salsa! But overall, I’m gonna go with«would i go back?». And the answer is def a no.

Great chicken salad– enjoyed the atmosphere & being able to shop while waiting on food. Service was good — if Unilocal directions take you to a neighborhood — call the restaurant — worth stopping in. They have live music at night —

I had my first Vintage experience on a Friday night date with my husband. He had eaten here for lunch before and gave it great reviews. It was such a rare treat to find a truly«vintage» restaurant with not only some incredible food but also a really nice atmosphere. The décor is rustic and comfortable, and they have live music there that pairs perfectly. I ate the vintage burger on a pretzel bun, and I could easily go back every day this week and eat the same thing. It’s great for Fort Payne food, but even outside of Fort Payne I believe Vintage would have great success.

This is probably the coolest place we’ve been to in Fort Payne so far. The employees are very nice and helpful. The atmosphere is warm and quaint. The food is good and reasonably priced. And, most importantly, they have a great craft beer selection! I would definitely recommend to anyone from Fort Payne or visiting.

I love this restaurant. Small, cozy, friendly and attentive wait staff. Menu is upscale soup, salad and sandwiches. The tomato Gouda soup was so great I started with a cup and took a bowl to go. The roast beef sandwich was also delicious. I will definitely be back.

Amazing food and atmosphere. I highly recommend the grown-up grilled cheese sandwich and red pepper Gouda soup! Such a neat old building and great staff. It’s worth driving a few miles from the interstate to enjoy a meal instead of eating fast food or a chain restaurant! Oh, the fried pies are fabulous. You won’t be disappointed with this place.

A perfect Unilocal moment. We were saved from chain restaurants and discovered this most charming and delicious café. Everything we ordered was tasty. Started with the Goat Cheese Pesto, sweet teas and lemonade. Even my picky nine-year old was totally pleased with the flatbread she ordered. I ordered the chicken salad(which was so good I had to share) but the best thing of all was the grilled cheese sandwich my other daughter ordered. Seriously the best grilled cheese sandwich I’ve ever tasted. The location can be tricky to find if you’re not familiar with the area. On the GPS, the address turns up on the South Side of Godfrey, but it is actually just north, right next to the railroad tracks. The atmosphere of this place is just amazing. We took some time after lunch to peruse the antiques, and picked up a box of the raw chocolate on the way out(which again was so good!) I HIGHLY recommend this place.
