This was a lovely local, but hard to find, restaurant. We got lost with gps, but called and they talked us in. It was at Patrick’s day and everything was festive. We ate outside, which was delightful. Our server, Sarah, was super attentive and helpful. We ate the Unilocal recommended appetizers and were not disappointed. The Miami Vice cup of chowders, New England clam chowder, and lobster mac and cheese were as good as it gets. Other appetizers and some beer and wine made this a great experience. We would definitely come again. Warning. We got there about 5 and the seats by the water were taken, by 6 there were many people waiting, but the staff never tried to rush us.

Excellent! Cold beer, lobster Mac and cheese was yummy. Crispy fish sandwich was very good might just be the tarter sauce that sends it over the top. Lobster sandwich was really good minus the avocado. Great service…

This place has a fun atmosphere and good food. It is a great«locals» restaurant that is sure to impress your out of town guests. Great menu options are the lobster Mac n cheese and the blackened scallops. Even the rice there is delicious. Helpful tip: If you choose to sit outside at night, bring a coat

First timer. 1 ½ pound stone crab and lobster sauteed in garlic were amazing. Absolutely delicious. Tuna and beef carpacio was amazing as well. Stuffed peppers were not my favorite but worth a try. Definitely coming back.

This is a must stop for dining! Excellent food and service! I had the grilled shrimp stuffed with crabmeat! It was outstanding! Appetizers were also very good, calamari and oysters! The mile high key lime pie was amazing! So worth the wait!

Excellent food. Only Budweiser products for beer and too loud for me.

Excellent. That’s the impression my spouse and I had on a recent visit. The Lobster Mac and Cheese is outstanding. Spinach Artichoke Dip terrific, large pieces of choke and not greasy –delicious. The fish sandwiches are good but the crispy one for a few bucks more is awesome. We’ll be back! Soon I hope.

Excellent food, nice relaxing Sunday afternoon setting in the outside area, with some mellow guitar music. Very reasonable prices. The only thing that would have made my lunch better would have been a Bloody Mary. Beer and wine only.

Hidden gem of a place you’d drive right by if not for our Über Driver. Short wait for table inside(before 1830) and great server(Crystal). Started with cups of Conch Chowder(tomato-based and peppery) and Clam Chowder(probably one of the best I’ve EVER eaten — seriously). Best surprise was following Crystal’s recommendation to eat half of each and combine them into what they call Miami Vice. Great stuff! Next we shared an order of Lobster Mac n Cheese. Piping hot and full of lobster(35%). Then our entrees came. Wife had the Grilled Salmon with tomato pesto topping on a delicious potato cake with wilted spinach. I had their Crunchy Fried Pompano over large couscous with a cream sauce and grilled asparagus. AMAZING, both of them! We took home two slices of pie(peanut butter and key lime). Highly recommend 12A Bouy and definitely get there before 1800 during season. When we left there was at least a 45 min. wait. Would be worth it if we’d gotten there late.

My family came here for lunch yesterday and it was amazing! Our server, who told us she also works a masseuse(I can’t remember her name!), was just incredible. So friendly, so accommodating, fast/great service. We shared the burrata appetizer, which was good. My father in law got the conch chowder and said it was some of the best soup he’s ever had. My mother in law got the conch chowder mixed with the clam chowder and loved it. For entrees, I got a veggie burger, my husband got the buffalo chicken sandwich, my mother in law got the veggie pizza, and my father in law got the scallops. Everything was delicious. Everyone kept commenting on how good their food was as they ate. Everyone was super pleased. The fries were SO good! The staff were so friendly and lovely, the prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious. I would absolutely come back here.

Not as amazing as I had hoped based on the reviews. It was nice to sit outside and listen to reggae and alternative music enjoying the sunshine(although the wildlife was annoying — birds, squirrels, etc). The food itself was just OK, pretty standard bar-ish fried food, decent clam chowder. Hard to find as well.

A fantastic place to just sit outside and soak up the sun for awhile. Lunch on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving — guess lots of people had the same idea! It was very crowded inside, but there were plenty of places to sit outside. I decided to try the Miami Vice soup, based on all the stellar reviews from other Unilocalers. It did not disappoint! The clam chowder was sinfully delicious, with big chunks of potato and a super creamy finish. I didn’t love the conch chowder quite as much, simply because it was a little too tomato-soupy and peppery for me. However, stir those bad boys together and you get perfection! Oh yeah! To try to prevent the massive coronary that soup may have instigated, I also ordered a Caesar side salad. Take my advice and don’t. It was so bland as to be almost completely flavorless, and it was served with one of the cores left in. Bleh. Just get the soup. :)

My wife found this place via Unilocal on our way back from Orlando. Definitely worth the stop. Fresh seafood, decent prices with great service(Thanks Sara!) with some great outdoor seating. Started with the best conch chowder I’ve ever had, packed with flavor! Conch fritters, lobster club, and clam chowder were all hits. Didnt get to try it this trip but will be back for sure to sample the Lobster Mac-N-Cheese!

Stopped in for lunch today, and after a few visits, I felt it was finally time to write a review! Today, my mom and I shared a bowl of the clam chowder. Holy cow! For $ 7, you can feed a family with that bowl. So delicious too — filled with clams, as opposed to others who fill theirs with potatoes. I was in the mood for something light — so I had the Cobb Salad. It was delicious! A nice heavy serving — I ended up taking half for lunch tmm. It was loaded with bacon, eggs, tomatoes, cheese, avocado, and croutons. So hearty! My parents both got the stone crabs since they’re in season. Very fresh! I will, however, say that I prefer my dad’s mustard/dipping sauce to 12A Buoy’s. Service was good(a little slow, but not terrible). The waitress checked in numerous times throughout the meal. Also at one point, I’m assuming the manager or owner came over and asked how everything was. Haven’t had a bad meal here! Highly recommended if you’re in the Fort Pierce/Hutchinson Island area.

While visiting Ft. Pierce, this place was one of the most top rated restaurants to stop by! I can say this place is a hidden gem of seafood and I was not disappointed. By far, I can say this is one the most enjoyable moments I’ve ever had with seafood. I came in with my girl friends and we all shared the Miami Vice soup, conch sandwich, lobster sandwich, mahi sandwich, mussles, sangria, beer, and strawberita. We are stuffed to the last drop of food. Our server, Jamie, was amazing and offered us her fullest attention and kindness. She was friendly and down to earth and helped us learn about the area a little bit better. She upselled the menu and definitely sold us on some of the items we ate mentioned above. Please stop by here if you want great service and great taste!

What a great dining experience! They don’t take reservations but our wait at 9:00 pm on Saturday night was only 10:00 minutes. The place is wildly popular and I’ve been told that the wait is much longer if you arrive earlier. Dress is on the casual side as are most restaurants here. Inside appeared to be crowded and hustling and bustling. We ate in the outside tiki torch lit, relaxed Key West type of area. There was a musician singing and playing crowd favorites. It’s located on the water but it can’t be considered on-the-water-dining as there are no water views. The server was fast and attentive. Everything I ate was fantastic, although my friend said his snapper was just so-so. The mussels in white wine sauce were delicious but they only came with one piece of bread. We asked for more bread to dip into the wonderful sauce and we were a little taken aback when the server said she can bring four pieces of bread for $ 1 as we thought there should not even a charge for extra bread. All feelings of resentment disappeared when the bread arrived. They were big pieces of quality bread with a thick crunchy crust and tasty soft middle – great for dipping. The lobster mac and cheese was incredible! It was creamy and gooey inside with plenty of large lobster chunks and crunchy on top. We had it as an appetizer but I would be more than happy having this as my meal. The lobster dinner is a great bargain at $ 25. It was supposed to be 10 oz but appeared to be a bit larger. The scallops were cooked perfectly and were huge and delicious. All of their food appear to be a great value when taking into account quantity and quality. Skip the sangria as it had no sweetness to it and tasted like cheap wine. Of course most places use cheap wine for their Sangria but it’s not supposed to taste like it. We did a little fix by adding sugar to it. Great fresh food, good prices, in a relaxed unpretentious atmosphere. I’ll be back.

I went up to Ft Pierce today, so checked on Unilocal for one of the best rated places to have lunch. I saw this one, and it looked good so there I went! I hoped they would offer the lobster Mac and Cheese as a side, but no only the whole skillet full at about $ 13. The waitress said there are no side options as they are all premade. Wonder when? So I opted for something different for a change and tried the conch salad, and opted for the fresh fish sandwich of the day which was mahi mahi. The conch salad comes in a a big bowl of chips, photo added here. I dont think I had ever tried conch salad before, but for some reason it didnt appeal. I can eat anything so I ate it, but it wasnt something Id ever order again. Later a different waitness than mine plopped down a dish and sped away. I look at it and it wasnt my order. It was busy so not easy to get my waitress attention, so I went up while she was ringing up and said I think I got someone elses order. She takes one look at a distance and says yes, thats NOT it. The right one comes out shortly thereafter. The sandwich was ok. The fish was ordered blackened but it wasnt that flavorful. If you really have a good fresh fish you shouldnt have to make sandwiches out of it. I would suggest a tiny cup of tartar sauce when a fish is bland like this to jazz it up. The sandwich tasted pretty plain. Maybe it just wasnt my day, because from what I had experienced, three star is being generous.

Guten Appetit !!!
