the donuts are great. if you’re driving on 95 take orange Boulevard East. short drive on the left hand side. last time I was here it seemed pretty sketchy but the neighborhood seems to have improved

I’m not a donut person. I’ve tried Krispey Kreme and I did like them though and figured none could be better than those. I was taken to Dixie Donuts by a friend who insisted I try the donuts here. I tried the sugar coated yeast donuts fresh out of the oven and they were better than the Krispey Kreme Donuts and thicker. I was very impressed. Delicious!!!

Move over Krispy Kreme… I only got one donut because I wanted to try it and the second I bit down on that glorious ring of dough I regretted my decision of not getting a dozen. Soooooooooooo good. My husband had he coffee and loved it. –sketchy location to say the least but just run and run out and you’ll be good :)

Worth every calorie and worth the drive to the sketchy part of town. Was a little freaked by the bars on the windows, but went in anyways, so glad we did! Apple Fritter– AMAZING and HUGE. Glazed– classic and the best I’ve ever had Raspberry Filled– delicious but liked the others more. Cinnamon Roll– agree with the other reviewer, tasted like a glazed donut with cinnamon. But it was still a delicious glazed donut with cinnamon.

Freshly baked donuts and coffee. Spotty locale though with limited parking. It’s really just a grab and go donut shop.

I RARELY ever eat donuts but based on some of the great reviews… it piqued my curiosity to check this place out. It’s located bordering«da hood» and I was a little apprehensive about stopping in, but surprisingly enough, I’m glad I did. The friendly woman behind the counter greeted me cheerfully as I approached. I told her it was my first visit and asked what does she recommend. She handed me a glazed. Of course, it was very tasty, comparable looking, but much better tasting than Krispy Kreme. Had a sweet, doughy taste but crunchy. If I’m ever in the mood for donuts, I’d be back for sure. Coffee was decent too, but they don’t make decaf ;-(

You might get shot driving to this part of town but the donut is worth it. You got holes, donuts got holes, it’s all good.

A coworker just brought down to Miami a box of the apple fritters and a mix of other donuts. this place is the bomb! i would drive the two hours just to get my hands on more of these. they are very sweet but perfectly crunchy and soft at the same time.

Easily the best donuts I’ve ever had. Absolutely amazing. If you’re anywhere near Fort Pierce, it’s worth going out of your way to stop here.

As a child, I remember going to Dixie Cream Donuts in Cutler Ridge, south of Miami. They had the best donuts in town and I remember Otto the owner as his family lived on our block. Relocating to Vero Beach from Fort Lauderdale recently, a friend from Jr. High School told me about this place. I never knew that Dixie Cream Donuts was a concept and that the receipe has been around since 1929. I bought a dozen — four glazed, a couple of Bavarian crème and the rest were assorted jelly. $ 7.49 a dozen. These donuts brought me back to my childhood. Much better than Dunkin Donuts. Although the area has a lot to be desired, I will definitely return. /s/William E. Lewis Jr., Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Donuts were delicious. The cinnamon roll just tasted like a donut with a tad of cinnamon in it. But the glazed were sooo good and were nice and warm. Note this place looks sketchy and their employees are questionable. There are two tables inside but occupied with the workers children. Th coffee is like a Brunn machine where you pour yourself. I’d come back for donuts. I will always get them to go too.

Well, Les L. sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo beat me to this review… pics and all!!! I had one of the the delish, decadent, mind blowing Long Johns and hubby had an Apple Fritter… he also had a raspberry filled doughnut but he ate it faster than I could get my camera out! lol Les L. is right… so fresh they were still warm this morning! If you are going to indulge, this is the place to do so!

You ever wanted hot fresh donuts? The only place I know where you can get just that from 6am to 1pm. Okay, so there is another place, Krispy Kreme, but it’s in Daytona Beach. And Dixie Donuts is a privately owned. No longer a franchised Dixie Cream Donuts shop. Fresh Orchid orange juice, McArther milk and fresh hot coffee. Tell where you saw this review!
