This store has terrible customer service. I brought my sewing machine and serger in for routine maintenance. When it was finished they called to let me know it was done but was told that the serger was missing a foot and they looked everywhere but couldn’t find it. I was pretty sure it wasn’t missing when I dropped it off but not positive so I asked them to replace it and gave them my credit card # over the phone. When I picked the machine up the foot still hadn’t been replaced. I was told they had to order it and they would send it in the mail since I lived 90 min away. 3 months later and several phone calls I finally received the foot only to find the nut to hold the foot on was missing. The envelope they sent it in was badly damaged so I figured it fell out. I called and talked to the repair man. He told me no problem they would send me a new one ASAP. Five minutes later the owner called me and rudely informed me the nut doesn’t come with the foot and it would cost me $ 16! I told her how I had waited 3 months for the foot, called several times, and how the envelope was badly damaged. She told me the foot has been hanging on the board for 3 months and told me I was lying about calling and wanted to know all the names of the workers I talked to during that time. Of coarse, I hadn’t thought it was going to turn into such an issue and never thought of writing down names! I asked her if there was anyway she cld sell the nut to me any cheaper for all the fuss. She said no and that she was going to have to charge me for extra priority shipping in a box so it wouldn’t get damaged again. I asked her if this is how she treats all her customers. She told me everyone is treated the same. I told her I was very disappointed in her customer service and would find somewhere else to take my machine next time. I asked her if a $ 0.30 nut was really worth loosing a customer over. She told me again this is how she treats all her customers. So very disappointed.
