So I grew up eating the Good Things Good Donuts as a kid and what can I say but Amazing donuts. I did not have time to go to the original location in Crestview, so we made a quick stop at the new location in Fort Walton. When we arrived around 11am(which is late for the donut morning rush), there was actually still a good amount of donuts up for selection. At the location in Crestview, they are usually cleared out by that time. You can place an order in advance if you like, so they can pre pack your donuts and you don’t have to run on chance. The donuts at this location are good as well, but not as good as the Crestview location. I am not sure if they cook them any different, or if the ones in Crestview are cooked with a little more love. Either way, it’s still worth a stop if you are in the Fort Walton area!

Got a dozen thinking I can try a variety and everything was way too sweet. The kids couldn’t enjoy it because it was too sweet for them.

Great chocolate doughnuts and friendly fast service. They had a lot of options of doughnuts too. Was overwhelmed with the choices. Went in know we wanted doughnut holes and left with Devils food glazed. Yum!!!

Donuts were exceedingly sweet. Didn’t have chocolate to make a mocha coffee… an item on their menu. Nothing very memorable about the visit. Handed me one plate with all the donuts on it for two people. Awkward sharing ensued. If you were looking for donuts in the area, these are passable. The atmosphere leaves much to be desired no ambience at all.

Best donuts in fort Walton beach. Family friendly and sweet folks inside. Try the chocolate cream filled or the apple fritter. Those are some of our favorites

Some of the best donuts I’ve ever had. The raspberry filled ones are perfection. Everyone was friendly and it smells like heaven in there. We will never go anywhere else for donuts as long as we’re in Fort Walton!

My review would be better if the Asian women did not try to over charge me a few times(once successfully the second time i questioned it). The other women who works there is super nice and has never done that to me(probably because she knows it is unethical because it is not posted anywhere). Twice I have been helped by the Asian women and gotten a dozen she tries to charge for each donut rather than give me the dozen price. She claims it is because I like mostly cake donuts, but no where on their signs state I can’t just choose cake donuts(the normal donuts with just cinnamon or chocolate or strawberry icing, nothing fancy) in my mixed donut dozen mix. It isn’t like I am getting the large apple fritters or specially made maple bacon donuts. If they want to charge extra they should post it rather than try to rip me off when they ring me up. I don’t appreciate the dishonesty. I am unsure if I will continue to go here because of this.

Exceeded our expectations! Slightly off the beaten path from Okaloosa Island but definitely worth the 10 min drive. Every donut we tried was fresh, moist, and very flavorful. Blueberry was delicious(tasted like real berries), maple bacon was amazing, and chocolate coconut was perfect to take back and enjoy on the beach. We loved it!

Great place. I stopped in because I needed some coffee at 6:30 am and didn’t want to deal with a gas station convenience store. Plus I wanted a delicious donut. And that’s what I got! I got a cakey chocolate glazed donut and it was top notch. Super fluffy and light — almost crumbly but it held together just enough. Coffee was pretty good too. This may be my new standard stop on the way to work.

This is the place to grab donuts for grumpy coworkers before holidays… it’ll cheer them right up! Fantastic fancy donuts, including seasonal(pumpkin with real cloves!) and cinnamon apple bear claws and more! Wouldn’t get the coffee here(very weak), but worth the trip for the fresh, amazing donuts. Their cake donuts are baked, which adds a nice thickness and flavor to them. One of their most impressive is the cinnamon twist. It tastes like a real cinnamon roll from mom’s oven… including the cinnamon, brown sugar and butter mixture. Always craving one in the morning.

Great local business providing an excellent donut with great service. The outside is uninviting but once you hit the door, the smell will pull you in. Nice variety and I thought the pricing was on par with other non-chain donut shops. If you’re a donut fan and like buying local, don’t pass up this gem.

I was going to this place when it was in Crestview. Wish they had 2 locations for all of the people lonely for Good Things in Crestview. These are by far, coast to coast, the lightest most melt in your mouth doughnuts ever… glazed…Oh My! From Florida to California, hands down the best doughnut! Move over Krispy Kreme! FedEx some Good Things to me in No.California.

Good Things Donuts is. so. delicious. I can’t believe it’s not on Unilocal yet! We got a half dozen – 2 original glazed, chocolate cake glazed, chocolate éclair, strawberry glazed, and…(drumroll) MAPLEBACON. The chocolate cake donut was moist and flavorful, and not dry and crumbly like cake donuts usually are. The other donuts were light and just sweet enough. The strawberry glaze tasted like it was made with fresh strawberries. The maple bacon was the sweetest, but the most adventurous flavor they offered. The saltiness of the bacon was a great contrast to the sweetness. We also got two cups of coffee. Good coffee, but they need to invest in some sturdier cups. We will DEFINITELY be frequenting this establishment… and joining a gym.
