This was a great little Italian restaurant! We ate here last year on a trip to Fort Walton and had to come back! Great food and a nice atmosphere. We highly recommend!

First this restaurant could use a good cleaning. From the seat crumbs to the gooey table to the dusty windows down to the questionable looking floor: nothing looked clean. Four cannelloni were tasty but skimpy portions. Caesar salad was tasteless and covered in powered Parmesan. Bread was DRY and old, probably from Sam’s club last week. We sent the first role back: the second one was worse. We are locals and try this place about once a year. Each time it’s disappointing.

We came to Ft. Walton Beach because of a dance competition so thank god for Unilocal or we would have been forced to go to over-priced, crowded tourist traps! We had a large group and were able to get a table right away. Our waitress was very accommodating when we asked for separate checks(sorry bout that). Most of us ordered either house-made cocktails(many to choose from and only $ 5 each! I had the limoncello mojito… yum) or house wine($ 4…what…unheard of!). So we were off to a good start. I shared the traditional bruschetta for an appetizer and it was fresh and very good. Caesar salad was pretty good. For my entrée I ordered the lemon piccata chicken and it was excellent. I loved the spaghetti with marinara side that came with it. The marina(slightly spicy but I like it that way) was fresh and delicious! My daughter had the seafood carbonara and she was in heaven. All of our entrees were piping hot, which isn’t easy when you have a large crowd. Overall it was very good!

Went in the day after the great flood of 2014 to celebrate closing on a home. Our server was pleasant and attentive. We started with the bacon wrapped scallops. Yum… I’m usually leery of anything bacon wrapped because it’s never cooked properly but they were good. My husband ordered the rack of lamb. It was cooked perfectly. Do you know how easy it is to screw up lamb? I had the stuffed flounder with Italian green beans. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious! I was pleased to see some local italians eating here. Thats a good sign. If you are feeling indulgent, try the dessert sampler. Finally, I have found a restaurant in the FWB area that I want to visit again!

This place was a decent dinner spot. I will admit I had my reservations about trying an italian place on the Florida panhandle, but this wasn’t so bad. I ordered the seafood cannelloni and it was good. There was perhaps a bit too much sauce, but an extra helping of the house bread was able to help that go away. I wouldn’t mind exploring other local dining options, but in a pinch I would come back here as well.

Stinks like mold really really bad in the restaurant! Can’t be healthy! Food was mediocre at best, but service was not bad. Just can’t get over the terrible mold/mildew smell, doesn’t seem like food should be prepared, served, or consumed in an environment like that! I will never go back!

My husband and I have been coming here for several years now… they recently renovated and we love it even more! Great menu items, music on Fridays and Saturdays in the summertime, friendly staff, and great service! We have never had something there that we did not like.

My husband and I came here our first night in town(9÷19÷13) for a mini vacation. Richard(I think that’s his name) from Mississippi was our waiter and he was beyond excellent. I’m very particular about customer service and his was just exceptional. He really has a spirit for hospitality and was very observant of our needs — before we could ask for something, he would show up with it! He should really be at a 5-star restaurant/hotel. I promise we’re not related, it’s just not often someone blows me away! Now, on to the food… I tend to make appetizers a meal wherever I go, so I ordered the crab dip and calamari. The portions were HUGE and to make it even better, it was Ladies’ Night so apps were half off. My husband ordered fettucine alfredo with shrimp and that had to be the creamiest sauce I’ve ever tasted. I actually wished I had ordered it. This is definitely a great place to go, as opposed to the chain restaurants in the area. The décor is great, the waiter we had was great(I don’t know about the others lol), and most importantly, the food is awesome. Good job, Pranzo!

My wife and I were first time customers. Excellent service and food. We had veal Marsala and the chicken la pranzo, both excellent. We are locals and will definitely return.

My husband and I are in town for the weekend and always look for good, local places to eat. Pranzo’s seemed like a good last minute choice. We arrived at 6pm on a Friday and didn’t have to wait for a table. The ambience is upscale but not uptight. Out table top was so wonky and I expected to lose our dinner to the lovely tile floor at any moment, but we missed that tragedy. Our waiter was efficient but brusque, which is fine. He did his job but was clearly put out when I did not order an alcoholic drink(I was driving and take that very seriously). He was also displeased that we didn’t order appetizers since we werent that hungry. I was a server for ten years to support myself, so I get up-selling. What I don’t get is the attitude slinging. Servers, don’t diss your customers who don’t spend $ 50+/person – sometimes we are great tippers and easy to serve. The food was okay. Just okay. My fettuccine Alfredo was so bland I didn’t waste the calories to finish it. I had asked our server if it was known to be good and he said«oh, the best». Well, if that’s the best, then that says it all. My husband got the scampi shrimp over angel hair and it was decent. The salads were average. The dipping sauce for the bread was nice, especially the balsamic reduction. We are looking for something better for dinner tonight.

We came here in search of pizza, but it was nowhere to be found? Not sure if they took if off the menu or what happened. We ordered brushetta for a starter, it was really good– we made a «happy plate». I ordered the lasagna for my entrée and my husband ordered the Pasta de Mare. We each got a Ceasar Salad with our meals also. The salad was good– fresh & tasty. The bread that came was served w/3 different kinds of sauces/dips. The olive oil one is the best. I wasn’t a fan of the brown sweet sauce. It tasted like maple syrup to me. My lasanga was pretty good– but was a bit on the dry side. You had to scrape up lots of sauce from your plate onto each bite to help juice it up. My husband’s meal was really good– he really liked it. The seafood was perfectly cooked and there was a good amount of it. We ordered the tiramasu for dessert and it was a huge slab of cake!!! The two of us split it and still couldn’t finish it. Our waiter wasn’t very good. He seemed to have friends at another table and focused most of his attention on them so we often sat for a long time after being done w/each course waiting for our plates to be cleared.

I would not say two $$… More like three $$$. Went to dinner with family of four. Good bread. Good salad. We all had different pasta dishes. Gnocchi with spinach, pasta fresca, angel hair w/vodka cream and spaghetti and meatball. Entrees we all just ok. VERY salty… Busboy with water service was on top of his game. Our server… Just ok. Pasta for four with just one glass of house wine was over $ 75.00 Seam a bit high. Other menu items well over $ 20.00. FYI they not longer have a family style selection. Don’t know if we will be back any time soon.

In all the years we’ve been coming to Destin area for fun in the sun we didn’t find Pranzo’s until this past weekend. I was looking for a Sunday Brunch for our group of 9 people and made a reservaton on Open Table. We arrived at 11am and had one of the nicest brunch’es I’ve had in ages. Amazing service. Terrific $ 9 bottomless brunch cocktails. The food was excellent and everyone had a lovely time including the 2.5 yr old. We will definately be back to try out dinner or lunch!

We had a fabulous meal here last week. We had an artichoke and crab dip that was generous and hot and served with some wonderful chips… simply awesome. Our fish was cooked to perfection and had a wonderful light white sauce to go with it. Good wine choices and generous portions. Pleasant décor and a bit bigger than you’d expect from looking at it from the outside. The service was prompt, unobtrusive, and exceptional. It’s too bad there is no fire or outside dining but it really didn’t matter. The restaurant is a bit hard to find… across the street from Pandora’s at the head of the island in Ft. Walton Beach, but do yourself a favor and find it. You will not be disappointed, I assure you.

Just finished eating here! Amazing service(filled our glasses upon our last sips), delicious food(omg– calamari and fried ravioli!!!), and gorgeous atmosphere(we were told that it was completely renovated and reopened the night we went!) HIGHLY recommend this place! Great date night and/or nightly casual bar!

Bland. Might have been a bad night for them but I still had to pay full price. Cesar salad dressing was not tasty. Alfredo sauce or whatever sauce was on my fish that used parm cheese was BLAND. Waiter was a bit gruff but efficient. Not worth the $$$ to me.

Found this restaurant on $$ was the price rating and this was accurate. I would definitely go back. Mahi Mahi over asparagus topped with crab in a white sauce was truly excellent. Lobster ravioli also quite good. House salad and dressing was pretty disappointing and needs to be addressed by head chef. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. Very attentive wait staff. Not overly upscale but true to expectations.

Pranzo was one of the worst restaurants I’ve been to for dinner in a long time. The food was inedible(trigger fish that appeared to be boiled and had a campbell’s soup sauce), horrendous service and the staff standing close by and chatting with each other. No water refills either. Don’t waste your time or money. There are better places out there. Even the Olive Garden would be a huge improvement over Panzo.
