All around amazing! The spicy shrimp guacamole was an awesome twist on an original dip. The blackened salmon tacos were delicious with a spicy kick and the striped bass with the rice was light but filling. Will definitely be going back and would recommend. Service was excellent and reservations were quick and easy through OpenTable!

Cantina Feliz is quickly becoming my favorite Mexican spot. To start, I recommend their traditional guacamole. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and of high quality by the look and taste. They put the perfect amount of onions, jalapeños, and cilantro so it’s not overpowering, but you taste that zest. It’s super creamy and their chips are delicious. They had a really great crunch and can definitely hold up to my hearty scoops of guac. I’ve gone with the Baja Fish Tacos the last 2 times I’ve been there, once grilled and once fried. The fish is great both ways. I really enjoy them because of their chipotle coleslaw that they put in the taco. A little bit of heat, with the nice crunch and fresh flavors of the coleslaw bringing it all together. They also give you a couple extra sauces to add on, one of them is a chipotle mayo, and the other is a cucumber(?) spread. The chipotle is perfect if you want to add some extra heat, while the other is great if you prefer a more mild taco. Also, the taco shell(soft) itself is really tasty and is strong enough to keep your taco together. *Their staff is also friendly and attentive.

The upside: The service is nice, but it is not spectacular. It would have been better, had it not been a busy restaurant. Busy can be a curse sometimes, when quality of food is compromised. The downside: I had the Inchilada mixtos brisket, shrimp, and chicken. On the menu it mentions the word seafood. When I asked what entails seafood? the waiter didn’t know, and gave elusive answers. The brisket was chewy and not cooked long enough; the shrimp lacked flavor and it was the smallest shrimp I have ever seen, it can barely be forked; the chicken was a shade whiter than snow, it had no flavor nor color. It is disappointing, considering Mexican food is known for the complexity of flavor and the richness of color. Worst of all, the price was not reflective of the quality.

I visited here recently for a Christmas party, and was quite impressed. The food was all good, especially the guacamole. The décor was also tasteful and aesthetically appealing. Hopefully I get another chance to eat here in the future

I’m grateful there is a good Mexican spot near my boyfriends parents house or we might have Italian every night we go out ;) Cantina Feliz is great because the atmosphere is fitting for both families as well as a night out with friends, so it works for everyone and parking is usually pretty easy. I look forward mostly to the margaritas, because you can add fresh fruit to their classics which takes them to a whole other level. Last time I was in the fruity additions were blood orange and passion fruit. YUM! I had one of each, and they make them strong! Their guac is great, they have the classic which I like as well as some other funky options like bacon fig and blue cheese, all of which come with their spicy salsa. I usually get enchiladas but the tacos look amazing too! And their menu is extensive and a little americanized so there is something for everyone. Great happy hour food and drink specials too! So tasty!

Love the food, but please package the carry-out more carefully. The paper containers used to package the tortilla soup(which should have been placed in a separate bag from my entrees) disintegrated, and ruined my entrees.

Not impressed. Service stunk. Waited to order, server saw drinks empty, did nothing. …food took forever. The entire section where we sat waited for bills. The express lunch took over an hour. .really! And honestly the portion was not a meal since it was obviously al la cart. …however the menu did not mention that(nor did the person taking our order) $ 15 for an appetizer and 2 enchiladas no side or anything is alot. Saving grace appetizer rocked.

Food was amazing. Had Crab Fondido(actually full of crab and cheese) and Vegetable Enchiladas. I liked the enchiladas because unlike most, it was filled with butternut squash, corn, and cauliflower… veggies you don’t normally see in mexican veggie dishes. Everything was very tasty and staff was super friendly.

Mexican food is my soul mate. We belong together. Seeing the reviews on Unilocal,I was excited to come here. We ordered guacamole, chicken quesadilla, chicken enchiladas and Chicken carbon(carbona?). The quesadilla was nice & crispy. We loved the guacamole and the chips that arrived along with it. Chicken Carbon(a) was delicious. It had this lime sauce on it that put it over the top. I liked the enchiladas. Not the best I’ve ever had but I’d get them again. The service we received was awesome. Food was brought out promptly and we were checked on but not rushed. One last thing, this is a beautiful place. Nicely decorated, definitely a cool space. Good place to take a first date.

Wow… I am so happy we’ve found such a great Mexican restaurant in the suburbs. Tequilas in the city is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, and while that is still our favorite, this is a close second! We started with the ceviche and guacamole, which we devoured rather quickly. For my entrée, I went with the Enchilada Mixto„ which came with a seafood, chicken, and brisket enchilada. I’m not sure which was my favorite as I equally enjoyed all three. Drinks were a little weak but service was excellent throughout the meal. We can’t wait to go back!

Meh… I can’t even tell you the name of our waitress because she never introduced herself. I told her I was on a bit of a time crunch and ordered right away. She brought us waters and no straws! I had to ask her for some after we waited 15 min for her to come back. The food was ok. This restaurant has a great interior décor and good music playing. But their wasn’t even a host by the door when we walked in. I rated my experience here based on the employees. I wanted to leave the moment I sat down. I might give it another try but that’s debatable. The guacamole and ceviche are very good appetizers. This place just need to improve their waitresses(they seemed a little judgmental). As I exited I said have a good day and they looked and did not respond. I cant make this stuff up and it was a week day too. Anyways. you can be the judge of this restaurant because it has mixed reviews!

A decent meal, but it comes at a high cost(price). I had the enchilada mixtos which was a combo of seafood, brisket and chicken. It was yummy, but I couldn’t tell which was which even as I was eating them. An occasion piece of chicken would pop-up, but I didn’t taste any seafood. The chili margarita was nice, but nothing special. The tortilla soup was very much a thick enchilada/tomato base. Very thick like a smooth bisque. It was alright as far as an ordinary soup goes, but nothing I’d order again. Mexican Cinnamon Ice Cream was 3 half size scoops in a small bowl, not worth $ 5. Warning: You will be charge $ 1.75 for chips and salsa. Nothing on the menu says there is a cost and most Mexican places give it to you complimentary. I was sitting in my friends car talking after our meal when SLAM, unsupervised minor slammed his car door into the door panel of my friends car leaving a big scratch. Same people who were annoying us the whole meal bringing newborns and young children to carry-on. If your kid can’t behave, please don’t bring 6 of them with you! Not the restaurants fault, but watch out for the weird parking lot where parking spots go every which way. $ 48 for 1 drink, soup, entrée and tiny dessert. Food good, price not.

I am only giving four stars because, well, five seems impossible… But this place serves up Mexican food with the best of them! One of the better Mexican restaurants in Philadelphia, a place whose name I can’t reveal, might be at the top of the list. But this place is a very close second. The first thing that you notice is how attentive the staff can be towards guests. Unlike some of the Center City restaurants, which can be a little pretentious because of the popularity, this restaurant takes pride in making sure that each guest knows that they are important. This time for the appetizer we had a tomato-based ceviche. Whether you are familiar with tomato-based ceviche’s versus the regular juice-based ones, this version is a keeper. The shrimp is perfectly cooked and the base is delicious. We also had the in-house homemade guacamole. It’s not as flavorful as the old table-side guacamole at El Vez, but it’s good nonetheless. Perfect consistency and enough flavor to make you see the bottom of the stone Mexican cooking pot it arrives in. Our entrees were the mushroom tacos and the three-filling Enchiladas. All good. The drinks were mango sangria frozen swirls that we could not get enough of… The only complaint that we have with this place is that the appetizers and entrées are so good that we rarely have room for dessert. It was another great dining experience!

Was visiting my companies corporate office in nearby Horsham. Me and the team ventured out and came upon this place via recommendation. What a good recommendation that turned out to be! We had a fairly large group, so they sat us in this quaint little private room towards the back of the restaurant. We all started with some guacamole, which turned out to be some of the best I have had. It was fresh, chunky and super tasty! Additionally, most of us ordered house margaritas, which turned out to be equally as tasty as the above mentioned guac! For dinner we all went our separate ways and I landed on the fish tacos with a side of corn. Man, what a great meal! The fish was hot, fresh and crispy and placed on warm flour tortillas with refreshing slaw and a great cream sauce! And the corn, my god that corn! It was DELICIOSO! A couple of my coworkers were a little envious of my corn, and rightfully so! Overall, Canitna Feliz impressed me with service, food and drink. I will definitely be back!

Cantina Feliz is the original of the«Feliz» Mexican restaurant mini-chain. It’s the only one located outside the city boundaries but it buzzes with the same vibe as its city counterparts. The décor and staff are also equal to the two other Feliz eateries. I especially like Happy Hour because they have one of the best Happy Hours in metropolitan Philadelphia. The value is incredible. For $ 2.50 you begin with a Dos Equis and then their $ 5 Happy Hour menu is full of treats. I had a delicious Chorizo Queso Fundido as well as a totally tasty Brussels Sprout Huarache. The size of these servings for five dollars is remarkable. It’s enough for a whole dinner!
