Overall great. Some of the food tastes like it came from a can, but I think it is worth the price. And the staff is nice. It is directly across from the Harley Davidson place, in the back of the shopping center. Couldn’t find it at first.

I really tried to like this place but it lacks much to be desired. The mashed potatoes taste like instant. The Mac and cheese take like Kraft Mac and cheese with a little extra cheese added. Then there’s the cornbread, dry, tasteless and dry. I had to say that twice. The fried chicken was ok. They also sell fried potatoes which were very dry and tasteless. The collard greens were awful! The turkey wings… well let’s say c & c seafood has much better soul food and they’re Korean. Thank goodness I didn’t spend a lot on this food.

So I always ride by this place heading to the Guy’s house, so I decided I needed to check in and see what it was about. Boy was I surprised by the array of items they have on their menu. I ordered to go for dinner and my order was ready in no time. I ordered the catfish dinner with teriyaki vegetables and vegetable fried rice. The Guy ordered bbq chicken wings with macaroni and cheese and western fries. Talk about carb central. Either way, the western fries were potato wedges and they were quite tasty. The mac and cheese, well, lets just say, no! LOL! It was your average run of the mill mac and cheese that you get at a cafeteria or something. Probably a modified version of the blue box stuff. But those chicken wings were awesome. Great sauce and huge wings. He loved the wings. My food was very good as well. My catfish dinner came with 4 huge pieces of catfish. They were seasoned well and not over done. The vegetable fried rice, was ok. Nothing to write home about. But I did enjoy the teriyaki vegetables. All in all, this place is a winner. I enjoyed my food very much! We will definitely go back for a round two!

Stopped by here because I saw the flailing used car lot balloon man denoting that this place was New And open for business. They seemed a bit surprised to have a customer. They have no place to sit, so this is a carry out in the true sense. They have a mixture of American traditional style, soul food with a bit of Asian. The food was really good. I got the meatloaf, collards, yams and some wings. The wings were seasoned oh so well, and they give you a huge piece of meatloaf for a reasonable price. The only negative is that they open to late for me to get their breakfast during the week, and the food is in trays which tells me a lot of it isn’t cooked to order, which is fine for some things, but not so much for others. I’ll revisit this place once they have been open awhile to see if the consistency is still there.
