Ft Foote Baptist Child Development Center

As a parent who wants the best for their child, my husband and I felt good about sending our son to the center. It is not a day care, but a true educational center. At the age of three, our son learned the Pledge of Allegiance, the Bible Pledge, scriptures, how to bless his food and give thanks (which was what we do at home), how to pray, how to play with others, and how to recite poems and songs. When he progressed to the four year old class, his teacher was truly amazing. The things that he learned continued to be an extension of what we instilled on the homefront, and he truly enjoyed going to school.
My only drawback is the food program, as I wish the children would get better hot foods for breakfast, and I am not a fan of processed meats/​cheeses (bologna/​cheese sandwiches). I wish there was a better program to ensure they had hot cereal and other foods on the menu, especially when we are focusing on healthy eating habits in our home.
Overall, we have been pleased with the curriculum and our son was more than prepared for kindergarten as he was reading two grade levels higher than his age group when entering kindergarten.
