Azar’s Big Boy

I used to come here many years ago and it hasn’t changed much. Kind of old fashioned décor. Pleasant waitresses. Fresh looking salad bar with jello, cottage cheese, fruit and more. I ordered buffalo chicken bites which came out very…“crispy.” They seemed to have more batter than they had meat. The others I was with ordered Big Boy hamburgers and said they tasted just add good as they did years ago. But be sure to order the fries-​not the onion rings (which have no onion in them and are definitely frozen). Their cheesecake was AWESOME! Perfect temperature. Not too firm but not to soft either. It was rich and creamy. It actually tasted better than the Cheesecake Factory! Their Strawberry Piebaby looked delectable too.
Would I return? Only for the desserts.

Rude management, smelly staff, food made me sick (food poisoning)

Went here for lunch, as they are one of the only restaurants around that seem to have a salad bar anymore. I didn’t want to go to Pizza Hut and be tempted by the smell of bad-​for-​me food. The have a really nice salad, fruit and soup bar for $ 6.05 for lunch. It had all the necessary salad fixings on it, plus pears, pineapple, cantaloupe, cottage cheese, 3 different kinds of pudding and 2 soup choices. Very satisfying and healthy. I will be back. Oh — I almost forgot — the service was wonderful. Very attentive and helpful.
