We were a party of 12. Called ahead and made a reservation for 12 at 5:30. All arrived and table was not ready. Orders were placed. Drinks were received in an acceptable time. It was at least 1 hour before our meals were served. 2 meals were cold and had to be reheated. We asked for drink refills and extra napkins. About 30 minutes later, they were delivered. We finally finished and paid at 7:15 — almost 2 hours for dinner at a MX restaurant??? Not a pleasant experience.

during the middle of my meal i asked myself, if i had cooked this food, would i be disappointed in myself? yes. with the help of a codeine drag of a staff, my meal and took at least 40 minutes longer than it needed to this is the food of absolute apathy

This restaurant should have a zero star for a rating! We have been going to this restaurant for years and it has only gone DOWNHILL!!! Tonight we ordered take out and they got our order wrong. And this isn’t the first. I am so angry we paid for food we did not receive. That’s it… we are through with you!!!

The service was good that is all that I can say and we’ll the drinks were OK. We had the nachos medium size. It was OK. Do not get the chicken and the ground beef took over the whole nachos. I ordered a bean burrito to go for my daughter, she loves bean burritos so we will let her be the judge of it. Lol

Do not eat here if you seek authentic, or even flavorful, Mexican cuisine. Wow. I’ve had better food out of a can. Beer is barely above room temp, salsa looks like tomato paste and tastes equally as bland. Slush machines are so loud you cannot have a conversation at the bar. I’m not one to give poor reviews, but this place is a joke. Feel misled by pulling in to their«Authentic Restaurante Mexicano».

For the life of me I cannot understand why people still go to Bandidos(aside from their margaritas of course because the raspberry margaritas w/sugar are the best) but the food is terrible it is so bland n the salsa is not salsa it’s like ketchup n it’s worse than what u get at Taco Bell, the Pico de Gallo I don’t understand why quality restaurant’s are closing n this place has several locations still running. 2 stars is only bc of the drinks…

As a regular patron for more than 10 years, I have become increasingly dissatisfied with Bandido’s. I hope that my following criticisms will be received as feedback that can be used to make improvements. To begin, the portions have been decreasing in size seemingly every visit. A favorite Mexican dish I often order is the steak fajita dinner. Bandido’s used to be my go to place for fajitas, but now is not even worth consideration. The tomatoes, green pepper, and onions are barely cooked. This particular visit, the restroom was borderline disgusting. Prices are comparable to other area Mexican restaurants, but portion sizes and quality of ingredients is questionable. I’d prefer to pay more for quality food served with appropriate portion sizes. Also, would like to see the food prepared with better care. On a side note, The hot Stuffed Poppers Are mouth watering.

Well, I hesitate to give them a bad review because I know how hard it is to make a go of it in the restaurant biz, but this was pretty terrible. Worst Mexican food I’ve had in probably 10 years. It’s not authentic at all. The salsa, chips, rice, chicken, beans, & guacamole all came out of a can or a bag. The vegetables were old and gross. Yuck. Save yourself a trip and go anywhere else. Even Taco Bell.

Roast beef Enchiladas and strawberry margaritas were great and don’t forget the fried ice cream with honey :)

This food was bad. I have had better food in a cafeteria. Everything was bland, and the texture was totally off. Definitely will recommend that everyone I know to avoid Bandido’s. Horrible.

Fajita was good, never enough soft tortillas though. Chips and salsa are good. The service is only as good as its worst employee. Needs improvement. «Better than authentic» means better than the real thing. Which we have had in Mexico. It was ecoli.

Have been here several times, but we came with a large party last night. I hate that I don’t remember our server’s name — she was funny and efficient. She was training another girl — and I hope the trainee adopts the same easy-going style of our server. There were several substitutions with our orders, and the servers did not get cranky at all about that. All the food was brought out at the same time and tasted great. Drinks were refilled promptly. This was the best food/service I have received here in a long time.

Had a lunch meeting here. The chips and salsa were great, and the waitress made sure we did not run out if salsa. Ordered a salad, it tasted decent, nothing bad or really fantastic.

I’ve had great Tex-Mex, I’ve had so-so Tex-Mex, I’ve even had gross Tex-Mex. I’ve never had bland Tex-Mex. That’s what Fort Wayne’s Bandido’s gave me. My youngest daughter is sensitive to spicy food so when she ordered a dish called Spicy Chicken Caliente I, being a good padre, ordered something not so caliente. I gave it a 90% chance that something labeled Spicy and Caliente would be too hot for her. Nope. She was just fine with it. When I asked her how it was she said, ‘Boring’. This is from a 10 year old spice adverse kid. My toned down order was a beef burrito that looked like browned ground chuck in a tortilla. I also had a chorizo up-side-down taco. What’s an up-side-down taco? Well, if you don’t know you must be an idiot. At least that’s the conclusion my waiter reached when I asked him. Anyway, in an up-side-down taco they put the cheese in the shell first, followed by the lettuce then the meat. I’m not sure how your tongue is suppose to perceive the difference in order but. oh, well. Wait, not oh, well. It’s stupid. The burrito and up-side-down taco were, as my daughter said, boring. My wife who was at a different table(this was a two table party/get-together) reported blandness also. My waiter, aside from the look of idiocy he gave me when I asked about the inverted taco, was on the spot and pleasant otherwise. The rest of the staff lived up to pleasant. Like most not-so-good restaurants, there was a game room for the kids near the front. I went to check on my daughter twice and had to use the restroom once. Each time on my return I met another server at a choke point in the restaurant. One of us had to stop to get by. It sure as heck wasn’t going to the servers. Our reservation was for Saturday night at 6:30 and we left at 9ish and there were plenty of tables all around. I have a feeling I’m not the only one feeling like there’s better places to hit. My only question is why are there 6 of these joints in that town?
