Erika’s Spa and Wellness Club

The spa called me friday to move my appt on sat up from 3p to 2p. I got there early being my first time there. I waited and waited and waited. I got in with Ericka about 230. That was their first mistake. The had me wait in this area that the greeter girl was gushing over about how nice it is. It sits over a parking lot and there are tachy walmart patio chairs that are like a plastic vinyl wrap. The most uncomfortable seating I have ever had in a spa. No comfy couches or deep cushiony chairs. Second mistake. Then I got in to my facial with Ericka. Hated it! I go to spas all the time all over the country I know a lousy facial and this was it. She washed my face and used these washcloths that are like the cheap motel type thin and like not thick and soft. Third mistake. She washed my face and put a mask on me. I was digging the mask out of the corners of my eyes and my nose when I got out of the service. All of the products are way way way perfumy like make me gag perfumy. There was some extractions briefly. She did like some poking me all over after she washed my face but befor she put the mask on me. She massaged my feet and hands but did not put a nice hot towel on my feet befor she massaged them. It didn’t matter because it was a cheap 35.00 a night motel thin towel anyway. She actually left me in the room by myself for about 15 minutes. Is this the fourth mistake or did I loose count? After I was done and out in the common area she tells me in front of everyone there that my skin is good but I have these really big pores that I need to by a mask for. Didn’t I just get a service from her and she was supposed to deal with my really big pores? She did not deal with my pores. But she did give me a lousy facial. All in all it was a lousy facial in a tacky setting that I paid way too much for.

I had my first pedicure yesterday by Dawn at this spa. It was wonderful. Very relaxing and quiet. It was nice to be in my own little room. I had the last appointment of the day, but she did not rush at all. I don’t have anything to compare it to since this was my first pedicure, but I don’t want to go anywhere else. It was so worth th price!
