You cant go in to «just look»…they expect you you buy something. I asked if they could get two different guns at two different times and they never called to say if they could get them or not.

I can’t trust this place anymore! The employees made the front page on the Journal Gazette yesterday. There was a guy that was wanted for one robbery(called the smiling bandit). Since they recognized him from a wanted poster, they didn’t think twice about calling the police on him. About two months before that, a person was charged with dealing drugs, very small amount. He was supporting his drug usage with sales only. It became a major drug case, when the employees helped identify the caliber and type pistol used(reported in the newspaper as a local firearms dealer with an indoor range). H.H. is the only one in Allen County. What other things have not made the newspaper? I understand why there are cameras all over the indoor range, also the store. The employees have crossed the line. Violating an unwritten law, the police are on one side everyone else is on the other side. Having a sort of neutral area, where the police can sort of go and everybody knows everybody. Something, like in some bars, where everybody goes in a neutral, sacred ground. Do you really want to buy a small sized pistol(for deer hunting). Then discharge it into someone for trying to «**** whatever****». Wouldn’t it make it look better for you to call the police up yourself? And tell them what you did? Before H.H. I want friends that wouldn’t turn their backs on me. Or forget you the minute you don’t have a lot of money.

I’ve always had good service at H&H. I’ve been there several times to window shop, or to check out something i’m interested in buying. They have a pretty good selection. The prices, however, are a little high for my taste. The indoor range is very nice, but also expensive.
