As always, Klemms Café didn’t disappoint. This is always a reliable place to eat breakfast and it is near perfect in all categories you can imagine, including service, food, and atmosphere. The food was great especially today. I had the pancakes which were superb as was the toast. This is a classic breakfast spot you can stop at to grab a quick bite because no matter how many people are there you always get your food fast, shorter than 10 minutes. The atmosphere is awesome, and I know I’ll be back.

Friendly staff in a welcoming environment.
The food was timely and the coffee is always fresh.
The waitress staff is prompt with placing the orders and always have a smile on their face.
The place is a little run down and dirty for my liking though.

Awesome place to get a fast and ready breakfast. I love that its a quick but amazing breakfast food dine in place.
Service is always so amazing. They greet you as you walk in and are ready to take your order. The menue is a usual breakfast menu but the love thats added to the food makes it so much better.
The environment is welcoming and is like a small diner feel. I would totally recommend this place as a small but well known fort wayne breakfast dash.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food given the dive-​y location and price. I had two breakfast orders complete with coffees and orange juices all for under $ 20!!! The service was prompt and friendly. It was fairly busy when we went but we had our breakfasts within 15 minutes of ordering. It’s very small inside, but the tables and floors were all clean. We ordered the Garbage plate and the 2 Egg Breakfast. Both came with toast (the raisin toast was delicious!) and the 2 Egg Breakfast also came with a choice of meat and home fries. Each meal was cooked well and delicious! Overall — don’t let appearance deceive you. It’s a dive-​y place but delicious food and fast friendly service!

Took my Father here for years… My Husband and I still go… Fast, hot and good breakfast and some lunch items. the tenderloin is good and the patty melt if you aren;t in the mood for breakfast… A bit crwded sometimes, but you get in and out quick. Tight parking… Try it sometime…

Love it – I love watching the woman cook up a tasty breakfast quick and hot ! This is big city in a small city. Delicious food that probably isn’t good for you in the long haul, but is a joy to eat.
I swear this place has an active poltergeist. I was in there with a friend once and a ceramic bowl of creamers tipped right over in front of us — and my friend and I could hardly believe it unless a passing waitress saw it as well which stopped her «dead» in her tracks.

We had plans for another downtown diner on a whirlwind trip to Fort Wayne. Remembering that Klem’s was on our way to our next destination made it our next choice. Parking is tight, but don’t let that stop you. The classic diner was great for the kids. Sitting at the bar was a treat for our boys. Everyone, cooks, servers and customers, were very friendly. The food was filling and priced well.

Talk about cozy! I had a late breakfast here on a snowy December Saturday. It’s the kind of place where you are inches away from the next table and everyone can watch the grill. I loved the experience, even if my pancakes tasted like green pepper. Not a good place if you are fussy. Everything is well worn and coated with a greasy sheen. But it’s a lovely place to share a simple, inexpensive meal with your neighbors.

Big diner-​style breakfasts, delicious and inexpensive.
Huge omelets, the best American fries/​hashbrowns around, and service is fast, efficient, and friendly. The perfect Saturday morning stop before visiting Hyde’s Bookstore across the street.
The food is cooked to order, always arrives hot and fresh… makes you wonder if the cook is psychic the way the food arrives so quickly.
Nice neighborhood place. Always have a smile for you, and maybe a tip on what’s to do in the big city that day.
The sandwiches/​fries look delicious, but I can’t stop myself from ordering that Western Omelet. The incredibly popular «Garbage Plate» is topped with a big ladle of home-​style gravy. The bacon is crisp, sausage is excellent, and the customers include a high percentage of locals who are friendly, too.

I do love this place. It’s small, old, and SUPER comfortable.
Having only been here for breakfast this is what I can tell you:
Their is typically one cook and two waitresses in the whole place. You can sit at the counter or a table/​booth. The food is prepared in front of you diner style in a flash. The food is DELICIOUS & cheap!
I suggest the garbage plate for breakfast. A wonderful combination of skillet /​biscuits and gravy. — - — - I’m getting hungry again!
