I love O’Reilly’s…I used to go all the time(I don’t drink as much anymore), and it was always the place I suggested going. It’s a casual laid back place, and seemingly not insanely packed(unless it’s a home game night). I’ve been there during the day on lunch break, and nights(both weekday and weekend), and I’ve always had good service from the bartenders and servers. I’ve had a couple of meals there, and it’s nothing that blows me away, but it’s always a good amount of food. I’ve met some strangers sitting at the bar, who I’ve carried full conversations with and then I’ve met some who have become actual friends. It’s a good chill place to grab a drink, especially on the patio in the summer. PS: and I love where it’s located in the city.

I’ve been to O’Reily’s with my brothers and it’s been pretty enjoyable in terms of food and service. Selection of alcohol isn’t bad and the food is pretty good. I’m not sure why people are talking about bad music or bands. However, I’ve gone alot of the time in the early or late afternoon. Haven’t been there late at night which might be where the bad reviews are coming from. However, it is correct that this is pretty much a sports bar trying to be a «irish pub». There really isn’t a identity and theme here. So, unless you have company to talk to, you’ll pretty much sit around with whatever tv that have on to waste your time. But it’s never been a dirty, or rude place when I’ve been there.

Only because I had to give one start to write a review. 45 minutes between drinks, overpriced food that was served cold, and this place hasn’t changed a bit. Avoid at all costs, even if you do get free admission to the baseball game if you sit on their stupid patio.

Came for a late Saturday Lunch. Decent beer selection and good food selection. Had a few Irish favorites mixed with American choices. Had the spicy cheese dip for an appetizer, it was pretty good, nothing to go crazy about. Wished it was spicier. I had the buffalo burger on a pretzel bun. The bun was good, I asked for the burger medium but should have asked for it med-rare, my mistake not theirs. Had some type of relish on it that I wasn’t crazy about but it was still good. Husband had bangers and mash and he really liked it. We ordered bread pudding for dessert. Wow! So good! Bartenders were very friendly and attentive. We will be back.

Great food and good beer selection. The atmosphere is typical of an American sports bar and the«Irish Bar» aspect of their name is misleading.

Wasn’t impressed at all. Went here to get a bite. 7 o’clock time frame. Mostly over 35 crowd. They were jamming hip hop. Customers seem to just be out of sorts! Thought we were in a club!, chose to have a drink and leave. Not a dinner atmosphere. Can’t compliment on food, sorry. Didn’t stay long enough for a taste

Hip hop with major bass. Disappointed. My ears won’t let my mouth eat here. :(never again

One of the best locations for a bar in the region. However, they lack identity, every time I go they either have a DJ who doesn’t know what he is doing or a rock band that has no business in a bar. Customer service and food quality are infrequent at best. The only draw is the enormously cheap drink specials, and that’s the crowd they get cheap. Prepare to see this place on Bar Rescue soon.

After JK I’Donnell’s Irish Ale House was packed and it was going to be an hour until we got a table we decided to head to O’Reilly’s. This was my second time eating at O’Reilly(first time over the summer outside watching some baseball). My boyfriend and I shared the feta/chicken/olive flat bread, which was quiet tasty. I wouldn’t categorize O’Reilly’s as a «dive bar» I have definitely been to far worse dive bars in Chicago. The staff were friendly and brought our drinks and food quickly. I definitely can see this bar being more lively in the spring/summer when the baseball team is in town. The pool tables and couches are a nice added touch, making the environment casual and more relaxed. My glass of wine was only $ 3.5 and decent quality! You definitely can’t beat the prices.
