I met Dan at my sister’s wedding, and was completely wowed by his work. My wife invited him to join us for our wedding in Costa Rica as both photographer and guest. Things that can be fixed after the wedding, in post-production: Nasty zits, weird coloration, disruptive guests Things that cannot be fixed, and therefore absolutely need to be done right the first time: Missed opportunities(like the cake cutting, the right expression, or spontaneous awesomeness), good composition, correct lighting. Pixel Perfect didn’t miss a thing, and the photos were absolutely amazing. I can’t speak highly enough of the quality of photos OR the quality of companionship that Dan and Kori were on the trip. Everybody loved them, and somehow they were able to catch EVERYTHING on film, and still found enough time to interact with us, enjoy the trip themselves, and even find time for sleep. Now for those of you who like your photographer to just be your photographer, don’t get me wrong. We WANTED Dan and Kori to be there with us, as part of the whole thing. We wanted them involved. And they were. But they were also completely respectful, and can maintain the strictly-business relationship a lot of couples want out of the people they hire. I don’t know how they did it, but they were just all things to all people. And the photos are simply amazing. The only thing that a couple can ask of their photographer is that there are no regrets, and we have absolutely none. If I ever need a photographer for any event in the future, I will call Dan and fly him out to Colorado before I even consider hiring locally.
