Snickerz Comedy Bar

The 3-​stars is for the laughs. The comedy is always great! The service gets a zero. The staff is the problem with this place. If any place needs a «Bar Rescue»…it’s this place. I go here several times a year, and have never had good service. It’s always slow, and servers seem over-​whelmed. I have to share my experience on 8/21…as it highlights their crap service. After sitting down, the server asked us what we wanted to drink. I know they have a few beers on draft, so I asked what they were. She said, «full-​pitchers & ½ pitchers». We said, no… what brand of beer do you have on draft. She still didn’t understand the question… just pointed to the drink menu. (Draft beer selections are not on drink menu). THEY ONLY HAVE 3 BEERS ON DRAFT… Yikes! This girl was completely lost… I felt sorry for her. The other people at our table were taken aback by the ignorance of our server, so they went to the bar for their drinks. They came back to the table with their drinks… then 8 minutes later our server came back with our ½ pitcher. She brought us glasses with straws… yes straws for our beer… Yikes. The beer was flat and warm so I attempted to take it back to the bar. Behind me was another guy standing there with his pitcher of warm beer. Another server asked if I had been waited on… I said yes, but this beer is bad. She said, «oh, they are aware of it». Sooo… they knew the beer was bad, yet still served it to me. We were standing there, waiting to get our beers replaced, and waited 15 minutes. One guy in line started to complain, and a server started yelling at him saying that they were doing the best they can. Once I finally got to place an order for bottled beer, they only had one of that brand left. I said, «well, what do you have similar to that beer?» The bartender said… and I quote…“I’m not sure, I don’t know beer.” I said…“and you’re the bartender?” They actually had 2 beers similar to the one I wanted. I finally got my bottles of beer… paid full price… didn’t receive any kind of apology for getting warm beer, and waiting over 15 minutes in line just to replace it. The service at this place is a complete train-​wreck. This time, it ruined my night. I hear this place is for-​sale. Hopefully, new owners will actually care about their customers, and do something about the problem.

Fun, sold out shows, great staff, nice crowds.
I did four shows in 2 nights and met great people every night.
The pork tender loin sandwich is amazing. I really enjoyed the wings too.

I didn’t get a chance to try anything in the way of food or drinks, but the comedy?
This is a place that’s known for bringing in quality entertainment.

I have to give them credit for having a comedy bar in Ft Wayne. I know getting good talent and making profit is difficult. The ticket price and food are reasonable. I am fine with the two item minimum too which is very reasonable as you can have a drink and something to eat. This could be have been the case for the night when I went to this place but we had to wait 1 hour for our food. The waitress wanted us to pay even when we had not got our food. She wanted to get all the payments before the show ended which is fine too but wouldn’t you get the food for the customer than make them wait and ask them to pay too? She apologized and the manager came and apologized too but that was just annoying than helpful. I would suggest everyone to get drinks than food as the drinks come faster. As for the comedy, it was ok.

Good for laughs, happy we have something like this in the Fort! We tried food this time and the fried mushrooms were overdone. So grab some drinks, laughs and enjoy.

I was a little apprehensive about coming here, but my friends had free tickets, so I decided to give it a try. My first visit — FREAKING HILARIOUS! That is saying a lot, because I find everyone to be pretty un-​funny, especially when they are TRYING to be funny. I haven’t been to any stand-up’s that I enjoyed up until now. Even my snarky boyfriend, who shares my dry, sarcastic humor laughed just as much. Just when we thought we couldn’t be broken… we found Snickerz. The act that night was the Midnight Swinger, who I highly recommend!
The next few times weren’t as good as the first act (who was outstanding), but they were still funny nonetheless. Every time I’ve gone, everyone has been funny and made me laugh. I have always had a good time.
I really like it here; it is fun and something different to do.

Great alternative to dinner and a movie. They bring in pretty good acts, a lot of the comedians have decent credentials. If you haven’t been then you should probably know that they are only opened Thursday, Friday, and Saturday as well as being 21+. There’s usually two showings a night and there’s a two drink minimum. You can call ahead to make a reservation, but seating is basically first come first serve. I saw Pauly Shore here and they sold physical tickets for that show which you had to purchase ahead of time. Also saw Dustin Diamond and they didn’t print tickets for this show, but did ask me to pay ahead of time over the phone. They said if I did that, they will also have preferential seating. Well, that part wasn’t honored at all… basically first come first served as per usual. We got some of the last seats on the first railing and for me, anything behind that makes you feel disconnected from the stage and comedians. They also sat a single person party at a four top in a great location and I swear I only saw him order water. Wtf. Long Islands are the popular drink here, sometimes they are weak sauce but usually they are great! If you get the larger quart size served in a mason jar, that serves as your two drinks. The food is not good, mostly snacks that seem like are heated up in a micro wave or oven. I’d say you’re better off getting dinner elsewhere. Sometimes the comedians can be hit or miss so give it another go if you were previously disappointed.

Great comedy club. Went here while visiting friends in Fort Wayne and had lots of laughs. We didn’t order food but the menu has typical fried food-​bar food. Well drinks & domestic beer are really cheap or you can go the giant mason jar route and spend $ 7 – 8 on some yummy frozen or fruity drinks.

It’s a comedy bar, don’t go here expecting good or cheap drinks, but do expect to laugh.

Very good comedy acts in a very relaxed enviroment. There is a 2 drink min. but they give you a discount to Piere’s next door.
