Was in town for work and stopped here based on other Unilocal reviews. The food was fantastic! Super fresh and a generous amount of protein per taco. The tomatillo salsa was excellent. Great value and service to boot. I’d come back anytime.

Authentic wonderful Mexican food. Caution the hot sauce is verrry hot. The tacos are huge and over flowing. Juicy succulent wonderful tasty. Friendly staff. Yes indeed will eat here again. Just ask for mild sauce.

Plain and simple authentic Taqueria, just tacos that’s all, just like the Taco stands of Mexico City, Guadalajara and Zacatecas, friendly service, the salsas are all delicious my favorite is la salsa roja

Great tacos! They are the real deal, so don’t expect cheese and lettuce and whatnot. Just great corn tortillas filled with your choice of tasty meats. Plus some onion and cilantro. Great to have a real taco place in Fort Wayne. Tacos are only $ 2, so pick a couple different ones to see what you like best!

I crave this place on a consistent basis. I feel sorry for all the people that gorge themselves on Taco Bell…

Some of the best tacos I’ve ever had and the people who work there are very friendly.

My daughter and I tried this place a few months ago. Carne asada tacos for her and the buche & chorizo for me. They tasted good– though not as good as George’s across the street or El Pariaso. The downfall though ism how sick I became not 20 minutes after eating here. I’ve never experienced anything like that unless traveling and am just glad my daughter didn’t get sick. We will be sticking with our usual hangouts or even Nachos.

A seriously great taco joint. Two bucks a taco, and very authentic all around. They also bring a huge tray of homemade sauces out with cucumber and radish slices to sample them with for free. The service is good, the prices cheap, and the food is simple and excellent.

$ 2 tacos. Tons of toppings come on the taco: cilantro, onions, a wide array of salsas, limes, radishes and cucumbers. Corn tortillas. Cans and bottles of soda along with a selection of fresh juices. Casual and clean. No beans. No rice. No chips. The service was fast and friendly. Great find! Not the best neighborhood but felt okay during the day.

The quintessential Fort Wayne taco joint. Hands down the best place to get a AUTHENTIC Mexican lunch without spending a whole hour. They offer the complete experience with their array of sauces and salsas staying true to their South American roots. With all of the taquerias in Fort Wayne I give this one my strongest recommendation

I went in and ordered one steak taco and one pastor taco. I ate the steak first and it was decent, but then the pastor, it was like someone took a can of wet dog food, burned it and put it in a taco. Absolutely the worst taco I’ve ever had. Will not be going back. Check my other reviews for better tacos in FW.

Best tacos hands down! They serve salsa with cucumber instead of greasy chips! 12oz carrot juice no additives for only 2.50, you can’t beat that!

This place is phenominal. At only $ 2, I get these ginormous taquerias… I ate three and about busted at the seams. I had the chorizo, asada, and marinated pork. All three were great, and I liked them all equally. I think there are only about 6 different taquerias to choose from… very small menu, but who cares? When it’s done right, you don’t need much more. They give you a specific salsa for each type of taqueria you order. I have a very similar recipe from a lady in Mexico, and they tasted almost exactly the same recipe. As with all great food places, it is a hole in the wall in a somewhat questionable area. I will pretty much travel anywhere for good food, though. So far, this is the most authentic I’ve tasted in Fort Wayne. Their salsa is very fresh. I really didn’t have any complaint with having no side items… the taquerias were so big I don’t think I could’ve even stomached anymore food. I used a credit card to pay, so they must have made some changes since some of the previous reviews(which is good since I don’t carry cash). I would definitely recommend this place.

While it looks like a whole in the wall joint, it actually seemed quite clean. Tacos are the only thing on the menu besides beverages. I had the asada(steak) and pastor(pork). You have the option of chopped onion and fresh cilantro. They also provide four«salsa» like sauces and another sauce that looks like guacamole and tomatillo sauce combined. This place gets a lot of hype and while I did enjoy my meal I think if they offered rice and beans as a side, it would be better.

The other reviews are right. $ 2 tacos with just four choices(all pork or beef) on the menu. Soft, corn shells are authentic. But let’s talk about the meat. It’s the absolute lowest-quality available — and re-re-re-heated. What a stench. Just plain awful.

Authentic Mexican tacos — no cheese, no hard shells. Pretty basic here, they don’t have chips and salsa, just tacos and bottled drinks(including Mexican soda and drinks) and fresh smoothies. But really, can you go wrong with $ 2 tacos? Fortunately they also tasted fine(barbacoa, al pastor, asada, chorizo, even lengua offered — i. e barbecue beef, pork, steak, mexican sausage, tongue). Definitely 4 stars for the value. Not a lot of tables, but definitely a few for 4 – 6 people. They do take credit card now. Next to Mad Anthony’s and next to an Adult Novelty store unfortunately.

This place was a fantastic foil to all the beers we chug-a-lugged at Mad Anferny’s. The tacos we tried were al pastor, barbacoa, carne asada(?), and buche — which I later found to be pork belly. All the meat portions were sizeable, and served atop two lightly fried corn tortillas. The accompanying sauces were all top notch and had to have been prepared on site. My lovely companion especially liked the bowl of radishes, limes, and onions de gratis. If I lived in Fort Wayne, I’d move to Muncie, but them’s some damn fine tacos. And horchata.

I would have given this place five stars, but it still doesn’t beat my favorite place in AZ. As per the other reviewer, they only offer tacos with 4 salsas, cucumbers and radishes. They are $ 2 street style tacos on the larger size, which have meat, onions, and cilantro. The only thing missing were pickled jalapeños, carrots, and onions. My favorite salsas was the Chipotle and green. They have plenty of seating, but if I had to guess a good portion of their clients get the tacos to go. Located right next to Mad Anthony Brewery. Now only if I could get a Mad Anthony brew with my taco. P. S. Not open on Mondays.

They keep it simple here, 5 types of tacos, soft drinks and what looks to be fruit smoothies. Everything seems to be fresh and from scratch. Big fan of the Pastor marinated pork tacos. Outstanding condiment tray with 4 sauces, cukes, radishes and a bowl of lime slices. This place is now a regular for me. Cash only.
