Verizon

If you are ever at Fort Wayne and need to stop at Verizon, this is the location you want to go to. Gail is the floor supervisor there and always keeps this place running smooth.

Last night I was in this store to transfer service from a basic phone to an IPhone 4 for my mother. They were having issues between Apple and Verizon and could not get the phone to work. (At least that is what we were told.) Bethany Biggs, our Solutions Specialist, was super helpful and was doing everything she could possibly do to get this phone set up. She asked the store manager, Jason, to help. This is my second run-​in with Jason. The first time, a friend of mine was trying to get help with her account and was going to let my mother use her old phone when she upgraded, but there was a problem with an upgrade, so we left. My friend tried calling Jason 2 times and he never called her back. So, my brother ended up giving my mom an IPhone 4S that he had after he upgraded in December. (My brother is also a Verizon customer) That is why we were in there last night. AGAIN, Jason could not offer any solutions except to look over her shoulder and gave us many excuses why the phone was not working. He was too busy chit chatting with fellow employees to give us a real solution or tell us to come back tomorrow. NOT IMPRESSED.
We were in the store for nearly 2 hours and heard the term ‘just 5 more minutes” at least 15 times. Is this how the managers there train their employees? We finally had enough and we were given instructions on how to set up the phone at HOME. The instructions did not work, so my mother now does not have a cell phone at this time.
I will not be back to this store and am really considering leaving Verizon after 17 years due to the poor service.
