If you want on «Old Tyme» barbershop, this is the place. I have never had to wait, the folks running the business could not be nicer. Loved my haircut and the wonderful ambiance. The even use a real straight razer to shave your neck areas; something I haven’t been able to find in over ten years. I highly recommend Yesteryear’s Barber Shop.

Looks like a barber that used to work in Benbrook may be back here. Barbershop in Benbrook is closed. My bad, owner said the other 2 barbers would quit if she returned. Anna starts at Head Turners in Benbrook on Winscott. Saturday 6÷13÷15.

I’ve been coming to this barber shop for five years. I have seen barbers come and go which is normal in this industry. Ryan is great but he leaves and the returns months down the road. The atmosphere is great. .. the owner is great. .. Anna is great. The other barbers need to be reviewed by someone other than me. My sons and grandsons also use this shop. Loyal customer!

I visited this barber, even though the reviews were mixed. I have to say, I received a perfect haircut. My regular barber couldn’t of cut it any better. Nice atmosphere, fast and pleasant. My only complaint and maybe this is just a St. Louis vs Dallas thing but I felt it was pricey for a barber shop.

This little shop is right by the Fox and Hound, which is how we stumbled across it for the first time a year ago. As background, a year or so before that, my husband had bought some hair trimming tools just to save a few trips to the quick-haircut type places, which were fine but nothing special. We are in our late twenties, work long hours, always busy, so that just seemed more efficient. But now that he’s found this barbershop, he is actually going fir haircuts regularly! About this shop, I should say: it really is old-fashioned, and not just for looks or ironically. The décor is real antiques and the place probably hasn’t changed in decades(except to get a credit card machine, thank goodness for us). And it’s kind of nice to step back in time, especially at a barber shop! Here, after the haircut they slather the back of the neck in shaving cream and use a real razor to clean it up. Similarly, they do an old fashioned facial shave that my husband raves about. Despite these old fashioned methods, the haircuts here are actually quicker than most places(I know, because I am usually sitting there waiting for him). He has always walked in and gotten a chair right away. I think it’s been the same 3 barbers(2 men, 1 woman) the entire last year. He’s gotten his hair cut by all three, but he does have a favorite that tells funny stories. Anyway, definitely be prepared for an authentically old-fashioned barber shop, but give it a chance if that type of thing appeals to you. It’s worth it!

I take my 80 year old dad here to get his hair cut. Ryan does a great job.

I go to this shop regularly for my haircuts. I really like the atmosphere of the vintage barber shops. Great service with a great price!

If you are not white just don’t even bother. This woman told me: «I have never cut hair this curly»(I am latino with moderate curly hair) and she was so disgusted and rude to cut my hair. She didn’t say anything racist but her attitude was horrible. Never ever again, I rather go to a Supercuts or Procuts where at least they are more diverse…

If you want your neck physically scraped off and your hair destroyed by someone on meds — this is your spot! Absolutely the most unprofessional unqualified display of a «barber» I have ever seen.
