Rustic historic Fort Worth atmosphere and sunny natural outdoor space set the background for this art gallery on Fort Worth’s a east side railroad district. Converted from an old warehouse, Artspace 111 conveys old Fort Worth embracing a modern art vibe. Janet Chaffee’s work is currently on dismal and has an organic, elemental quality to it that matches this metal and concrete facility. The back patio and lawn feature a broad deck, rusty metal doors in brick exterior wall, a gated green space landscaped with trees, and sculpture scattered throughout. When we visited, Artspace111 was being set up as a wedding venue. It is quite a beautiful setting for any gathering. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will be back!

Artspace111 is a great hidden venue. It is open to the public… so feel free to check it out. I was sent here for a class assignment, and was amazed by the aesthetics of the place-it has that lofty feel to it. Not to mention, the wonderful medium of art on display. It is worth a gander, if your into art appreciation.

I recently came here for a wedding! This venue is a majority outside. November can be warm or it can be a little chilly. The wedding I went to end up getting a little chilly towards the end of the night. Walked through the venue building than it leads out to the outside part, the first thing you step onto is a very large deck, Dj booth was set up to the the right. From the deck you can gaze into the lower level. Going down a couple steps to the lower level, you’ll see their is a small gate which leads to the ceremony. The area is beautiful, grass, some stepping stone, and lots of flower. One thing I didn’t like is that the venue is right next to some train tracks. During the ceremony a train came by and everyone stays silence. Oh and there is only 2 restrooms!

This is a really cool, unassuming space in downtown Fort Worth. It looks a little rough from the outside, but that makes it all the better. It’s a fabulous urban space with an amazing atmosphere inside and out back in their gardens. The inside is all clean white walls peppered with beautiful and colorful artwork, cement floors, and close quarters. This isn’t a large facility, but the intimate spaces still feel open and airy. And the best part might be the outdoor space. There’s a fantastic deck — the perfect spot for setting up drinks, catering, or even dancing. The garden space is also beautiful and there’s plenty of room for a large party or entire wedding ceremony + reception. Grassy areas, fountains, white twinkle light strewn about. It really is a beautiful space. Artspace111 has a variety of exhibitions that come through featuring local artists, and every now and again shows with drinks and live music. Definitely consider this venue if you’re looking for a unique space with a ton of character and local charm.

Open and airy — with great outdoor space! We went here for a wedding rehearsal dinner and the space overall was nice and light, perfect for a Springtime gathering. The patio was large and well-lit, but one update that could improve the space and the overall flow of the venue is to replace the standard back glass doors with large garage doors that would incorporate the patio better. Not only would the ambiance benefit from this change, but the overall flow of the party space would really be amazing! Parking was a bit of a challenge, but not unbearable. Overall nice venue, just wish there were less walls and more open space. Cheers!

It was a cool space for business or small social events. The patio was magical with the lights and the trees. The side yard with the trees were very pretty too. The inside space would be great for a party of 50, however, keep in mind there are only two toilets on site. Parking is on the street and would not accommodate a large crowd. I planned weddings and events professionally and found the space to be a great blank canvas with an Urban loft feel. The terrace and gardens are lovely. It may be an issue for larger parties or ones that need to stay inside throughout their event.

How neat! I’d get married here… seriously. The venue was just so adorable with eclectic pieces of art strewn about and then the garden and patios had the perfect ambiance for an intimate ceremony and reception. Looking at the photos of weddings there, I can see why brides chose this place. It’s def in the running for the dream wedding that I am planning via Pinterest. hehe.

After seeing Frances G.‘s review, it motivated me to chime in on this beautiful venue space. I was here for a Unilocal event, and so I will be honest in that my eyes were more focused on libations than artwork, but what I saw was indeed a very nice space. My review is for Artspace111 as a venue, not a gallery. The interior is nice, in a «not distracting from the art» way. Clean white walls mean it can become your canvas to personalize the space for your event. The real venue gem of Artspace111 is the exterior, which is divided into two areas. A concrete patio(Terrace Sculpture Garden) with elevated«balcony», and a garden area with meandering paths(Katie F. Wright Garden). The patio, complete with a small pond and waterfall, is perfect for setting up a band or a DJ, as well food and beverage stations. The solid floor also means it’s good for dancing. The garden area creates a nice contrast to the brick and concrete of the patio. There are trees and a well manicured lawn. It too makes another good choice for food and beverage stations, as guests can walk the perimeter paths in a very pleasant environment. The grassy area in the middle just seems to conjure pictures of elegantly attired people sipping champagne. I will add one final bit of perspective that any prospective customer should be aware of. If you didn’t notice from the map view, Artspace111 sits along some railroad tracks. As such, it should come as no surprise that you will hear the occasional train. I personally enjoy the sound of a passing train, however this may not mesh with every event.

I would have never known this place existed if it wasn’t for the Unilocal event that was just here recently. I don’t live close to FW, so I don’t venture out to FW as much. My favorite part of this museum was the patio, I LOVED everything about it. It’s very spacious for events, and the gallery was good. I love the art and the way this place was set up.

I would I’ve never known this place existed if it wasn’t for the Unilocal event. I loved everything about this venue. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was in one of those movies where there is a spacious Art Gallery and we’re here for a show LOL. I loved the patio. This is a perfect place to hold an event. Parking was a little iffy and so was the location but all in all, perfect places for events!

By nature, I am an art person. I have been drawing and painting since I was 10 years old. I have been to art museums in New York City, Hartford, Washington DC, Dallas, Fort Worth and Worcester, MA. So, I like to see some good art. I never knew about this place until the Unilocal event I went to last night.(Great event Kevin!) It’s a little out of the way and well, I guess park anywhere. There really isn’t a lot to speak of, but besides that… Anyway, a really nice space with some really good contemporary watercolors and oils from local artists. Sort of a warehouse meets old barn feel to it. The sculpture garden was very Zen like with rocks and water flowing and several great pieces of art. As the sun went down and the string lights went on, a pretty cool yellowish glow fell over the place and gave it a homey feel. I’ll try to get back to see some other exhibits when new art comes in.

What a beautiful venue that primarily functions as a Contemporary art gallery housing some really stellar art. My favorite part is the patio and gardens populated with repurposed material like concrete, old warehouse doors, and iron beams as modernly chic pieces of furniture. Artspace also offers their chic space for a wedding set amongst an urban oasis. The white walls and concrete floors make it conducive to create the party in your own style, while the lush garden offers an appealing contrast to the stark design inside.

I went to Artspace 111 for a charity benefit and I was very pleased. The modern art was interesting and I’m generally not someone who likes modern art. Artspace didn’t feel cramped but it also didn’t feel to spacious and the acoustics keep the noise rather low so it was easy to hear people. Also, the garden area was beautiful despite the occasional train. I think Artspace would be a great place to host an event.

Artspace 111 has changed a lot and for the better since I first visited. Their exhibits and opening are a lot of fun, the art selections are always wonderful, and the recently completed outdoor space is superb. I highly recommend attending an art opening at Artspace 111.
